“In the interest of fairness” if declared null and void, all points should be taken over to next season, and start of as it is just now! “In the interest of fairness” Vinny Mac.

It will never be null and void there's too much money involved plus am sure it's against the rules as well.

After 30 games of a 38 game season, it would seem crazy to void or write-off so much of a domestic season, where it was pretty plain to see - even to the most biased and blinkered - all but decided.
Obviously a completed campaign would shut the dissenters and the desperate well-and-truly-up and settle it; but this would require even more debate, conferences, committees and reorganisation in an environment where certain clubs can't agree on the colour of shegite.
The decision to (rightly) award the title to Celtic is simply killing so many of them that they would prefer to go bust and remain in stalemate rather than reach a sensible solution and much needed cash.

It's never going to be null and void, season is too far gone and also it would be unfair to likes of Dundee United and Raith Rovers.

If They give you null and void nonsense. just claim since no other teams won it, that Celtic retain for the following year, therefore that means we’ve had it nine in a row.

I'm not in touch with the development squad like I used to be. Any of you guys who are in the know aware of any of the youth players who we might see breaking into the set up for next season? I remember there were high hopes for Kerr McInroy who unfortunately picked up a bad knee injury but had now recovered.

My mate is convinced Cameron Harper will play a big part for the club over the next couple of seasons but to be honest I've only seen a couple of his goals so wouldn't be able to agree or disagree with his opinion.

When Ice man mentioned the development squad Harper was the first player that came to my mind. Fair headed forward player. He looked a class act in one of the youth finals at Hampden last year. I think he is American.

I have a lot of time for the Development Squad. I used to watch a lot of Celtic Reserve and Youth football and like to keep my ear to the ground. Kerr McInroy is decent as is Barry Coffey. Scott Robertson has a dig in him and did well in his first team debut. Agree with Jaw1888 about Cameron Harper. When he was interviewed recently he said his ambition was to keep progressing and that he wanted to provide "something different". Karamoko looks decent and good things are being said about Afolabi. The problem with the Development Squad is that there is not a lot of game time and some of the boys are struggling to make an impact. Two of the keepers look decent - Ryan Mullen and Liam Hughes, but I don't know whether Mullen has signed a contract yet. Then there's Ross Doohan and Connor Hazard. There are good times on the way with the amount of decent youngsters coming through but not all of them can get a place in the first team. There's a lot of competion for places and that's a good thing. Just hope 10IAR isn't going to stunt the youngsters' development.

Could possibly see a wee bit of Oko-Flex next season if Johnstons injury problems continue. Looks class arlt that level and about on par with wee Dembele in terms of being close to breaking through.

I hope there is a transfer ban this summer as I think it would be obscene to see hundreds of millions getting spent when so many are struggling financially .

More likely to be open longer drb to let clubs catch up on business time they've missed out on. Could be the end of transfer windows hopefully, then clubs could buy what they need when they need it rather than panic buying for the sake of it.

Might be a few players surplus to balance the books so could potentially pick up a few gems on the cheap.

ED007 and everyone what are your thoughts on the best way going forward now.
For me surely the right and proper thing to do, for health reasons more than football reasons, is to END season ASAP. Declare Celtic Dundee United etc champions and pay out all prize monies due to allow clubs to weather this storm.
This would allow all clubs to have a longer pre season, players come back say mid June/ early July and plan for getting back up to fitness wise for new season starting Mid August/ Early September. Obviously there would be no pre season trips to Dubai, Spain etc just train and play closed door pre season games.
The 3 cup games could be a curtain raiser to new season kicking off then into domestic league games, only problem to solve would be when and where to play euro qualifiers for CL and Europa League.

{Ed007's Note - Ideally we'd be able to play the remaining matches but that's looking less likely as time goes on so the only fair way to move forward is to announce the league's over and that the standings are final to allow the prize money to be paid out. I agree with you about the cup as well, I think we're missing a trick not having our own version of the Charity Shield and the belated Cup games would be a good start to next season.}

14 Apr 2020 14:26:39
worst case, if things don't improve before august cancel next season, then finish this league season and scottish cup in its place, or if things get dramatically better finish this season by using it as a pre season and have scottish cup final as a big pre season opener.

I would have preferred the season to be played-out so that there would be no whinging and/ or excuses from those seen as hard done to, especially in relegation and play-off scenarios.
However, the time scale makes it look very unlikely and a decision to end the season where you stand seems on the cards.
I would have considered postponing the outstanding games until deemed playable and look to delay and condense season 20/ 21 with no International football, no league cup - replaced with the European qualifiers and no winter break because of the current extended break?

Just give TRIFC it. Give them the Champions league place, All of the prize money and relegate Celtic. Even after all that they still would come up with an injustice and want all staunch rangers men on the SPFL and the SFA. This Inverness chief ex is a shady. Ex Rangers Ex Dundee Ex Hearts guy🤔.

Be a good way to start the season playing the remaining Scottish cup games. Agree with Ed I don't get why we haven't thought of bringing something like a super cup or charity shield in could be an extra little money spinner for the league.

Guys until we know for CERTAIN that Dundee have voted YES I would hang back on celebrating. I would not trust Doncaster or any of his SPFL committee and you just know Sevco will be moaning and twisting arms in the background.

Tim if its true dundee have voted yes then its done and the rangers can do nothing about it, a vote can only be changed one way, no to yes. Something to do with business law, some so called expert was on clyde1 the other day explaining it.

I thought it was just for the lower divisions and then we have to await to see what happens throughout Europe.

That mob have a short memory. It was Doncaster who postponed league restructure which allowed non spfl clubs to be promoted to league system and spfl clubs to be relegated out of set up. Had he not done this, i've not one doubt Ibrox would be a supermarket.

They can go on about sporting integrity all they want, because they don't have any. Where was our guard of honour last season? The only reason they are bumping their gums is because we are top of the league. If it was any other club they would not have a problem.

We are voting to end the season straight away for lower leagues but for the right to end the top league as we currently stand if no more games can be played. We just can’t declare any top league results until after the UEFA meeting in a few weeks time. It maybe after the UEFA meeting they delay league announcements again but if Dundee bit yes then we are more or less champions 🙂🍀🏆🏆🏆.
