Right can I ask a serious question do any of you lot think your manager is getting a bit deluded, does he seriously think your mob will ever win the champions league again whilst playing in the spl?? That guy will never learn and any of you fans that agree with what he is sayin is IMO as deluded as he is...

Tam-Sir 1873 would like to hear the editors opinion on this as I may suspect its a bit tongue in cheek... {Ed007's Note - NL did not say he will win the CL, he said it's his ambition to win it. Isn't that every player and manager's ultimate ambition. Read NL's words Tam, you are better than jumping to silly conclusions mate.}

Believable3 Unbelievable9

Ed007; Can these people read.it's all over the loser pages. By the way mate,leggo is trying to float the idea of a convoy of buses heading to london to protest at Duff & Duffer!Just wait,sometime today some berk will post it............green jhedi {Ed007's Note - Why let the facts get in the way of what they want articles to say GJ? There is a simple formula you can apply at times like this:

Good news for Rangers = 100% truth
Bad news for Rangers = 100% sh1te

As for Legless Leggat, I bet he hasn't volunteered to drive a bus, he would never be sober enough. I think I will book a place on this trip, I doubt the English authorities would be happy with a mass exodus of Rangers fans across the border.}

Come on now ed, it works both ways. You lot are not the educated broadsheet readers who laugh at tabloids. {Ed007's Note - I don't read tabloids. The majority of CFC fans I know don't believe anything that is wrote in them. CFC fans learnt their lesson long ago with red top rags, Rangers fans will hopefully see it soon as well, as long as you buy their papers, they will keep printing what ever sells copy, that is their business. I am sure CFC supporting posters will back me up that they do not give these rags any credence what so ever. Look back over the last year and the stories that have been printed about Rangers, the fans believed all the hype and PR about Whyte but said the financial troubles were nonsense. What line of journalism was the more accurate?}

Agree2 Disagree0

Ed I know what he said but its my ambition to win a marathon but it aint ever gonna happen just like his ambition aint ever gonna happen, and some of the posts above are filled with bile from other keyboard cowboys especially the illiterate one 2 above...thanks for your reply ed and to others who want to be at least slightly civil towards my comments..I merely asked if you thought he was bein serious that is all so do you and do you think he will fulfill his ambition of winning it at your club??

Tam-Sir 1873 Wants a sensible answer now that I have re-arranged my question so it doesnt make neil look as daft as he sounds.... {Ed007's Note - I don't think I will see any Scottish team ever win the CL in my lifetime Tam, or if any ever will. It's a bit of a closed shop and we have been left trailing far behind. If a Scottish team even had a run like Apoel Nicosia did this year it would be an unprecedented success.}

Agree0 Disagree0

You will remember Ed007 I am one of the many CFC supporters who will NEVER buy a red top - especially DR & SM - and have been Tabloid Free for decades. If all decent football supporters would stop buying into their bile and sensationalism, they would have to mend their ways and try honest (fact based)journalism lol, or go down the pan - where they belong.

Jungle Jim {Ed007's Note - They feed off of the underlying hatred for each other, the quicker people realise they are being manipulated to suit the reporters and their papers own agenda, the better.}

It seems the boys over at paynot place are getting their info from 'reading' the sun. no self-respecting football fan would wipe their erse with that inane ,childish, murdochian poison since hillsborough at least. neil's interview could be read in full in the herald and the scotsman where he makes it quite clear to anyone with the basic human ability to read, that he has an ambition to win the champions league with celtic or someone else (worryingly). a laudible ambition for any young football manager. quite different from saying 'we will win the champions league'.
in any case how does a professional football manager enter a competition with a pre-conceived notion of when his team willl be knocked out? there would have to be a dressing room talk along the lines of 'well boys that's it we're getting knocked out today' so take it easy. is that how ally did it ?
just when you think the pre-zombies couldn't get any more stupid they go ahead and do it. no wonder they've had the pi55 ripped out of them by craigie and his gang. they are just very very stupid. intolerance and bigotry do make one blind to reality though, which is a good description of stupidity.

As a rangers fan it often crosses my mind what if the roles wer reversed and celtic wer in our position , would i want them liquidated , well no , the thaught of the great feeling i get when we beat you being taken away , nah its no every time , thats what i cant work out , why would you want us put in a position where you can no longer play us , but the more i think about it i kinda get it now ,its fear , you fear us as a club ,but no surely the thaught of gubbin us must be strong in your minds as it is in ours , so why want us out the picture , then the real reason dawns on me , its hatred , pure hatred , but wait a minit , you and your club arent like that ? , well maby i was right the first time , uch a dont kno , its one or the other eh

Believable1 Unbelievable5

Fear? no. Justice? yes. Paying players you could not afford unless using tax "avoidance" schemes,a sectarian policy regarding signings for over 100 years,non payment of taxes and national insurance,a bigoted vile song book that revels in murder and the death of millions in a FAMINE. you getting the picture.........green jhedi

Agree5 Disagree0

We want rid of you because your club is a poisonous, disgusting and vile organisation. They are detested the length and breadth of the country and beyond. You operated a 120 years sectarian policy and still carry on grasping onto your hate filled racist, sectarian values. Your horrendous arrogance only serves for even neutral fans to despise you. Now you are trying to wriggle out of cheating and stealing money for years. No acceptance of guilt, no apology, nothing from anyone tainted by association with a horrible organisation that has brought more trouble to our street than it is worth. Even your slug of a manager has shown no humility or remorse for the years of polluting our game with underhand targets. I have family in Manchester who have told me exactly what went on down there yet your knuckledragging legions see it as a badge of honour, just like Barcelona in 72 when once again you showed yourself up for the vile people you really are. Both Euro finals you have been in have ended the same way, with carnage. You showed again where your values were by taking Diouf to your hearts, a marriage made in heave I suppose, he is one of the most despised players in the world game so it was only right that at some point he played for the most poisonous and odious club in football. Why should anyone outwith your ilk even try to help when your club has shown no dignity or class through this whole sorry episode. No normal minded human being will miss Rangers, they are a black mark on our society, their outdated views and morals deserve to be laid to rest under the heading of shameful. Scotland and society owe Rangers nothing, let them die, let them rot. There will be alot more people happy about it than will mourn their loss. You say it is hatred, pure hatred toward you, well it is vile, poisonous hatred that your club has shown to everyone else for 140 years. Your tainted club deserves nothing but contempt and a good long party when you are finally sent to the pits of hell where it belongs, if the devil would even want associated with them, which I seriously doubt. Even e would be ashamed to have a to be associated with you.

Agree9 Disagree2

We don't ask for the end of Rangers. Merely that you pay what you owe and are punished accordingly. If that means you cease to exist, then so be it. 41 other clubs strive to do the right thing, yet you feel that you deserve to be treated different. Like you are better than everyone else, the 'people' as you put it. Your downfall is part negligence, part ignorance. Wake up. Your club has done some quite unremarkable things. There is nothing to be proud of. Nothing to embrace. Pay your bills.

Celtic fans still trying to take the moral high ground LMAO.

You lot think yous are better than everyone else, well guess what.....yous aren't.

Get off your high horses!! Manchester UTD have a debt worth over £100m, I don't see you lot giving them pelters!

The only tax avoidance Rangers have been found guilty of is the tax debt a certain Mr Whyte ran up since he took control.

Rangers aren't the only club who owe other clubs money!

Get a life ya sad acts. All you sad, pathetic Celtic fans seem interested in is having snide digs at Rangers.

It is only according to YOU lot that Rangers are hated "the length and breadth" of the country.

You are a pathetic bunch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TTG {Ed007's Note - Man Utd have debt a lot higher than £100 million. There is a difference though, they are paying it and managing it, while still making a profit year in and year out. Their debt is falling every season, the debt is from the take-over of the club, not refusing to pay bills. They are not blaming everyone else for their situation, they are not bumping local small businesses, they are not begging for favours to try and help them get off with paying their way. Every club owes other clubs money from instalments from transfer fees, but here is another shocker, other teams pay it, and when it is due. To even compare Rangers present accolade as the laughing stock of football to anything Man Utd are doing again shows how misplaced Rangers fans twisted arrogance actually is. As for being pathetic, how pathetic did that silly red card waving stunt look at Ibrox, I'd have been mortified if someone expected me to stand and wave a stupid wee red card about at a match. Did you expect people to say 'Let's forget all about the money Rangers are trying to bump us out of. They have wee red cards, they mean business now!'}

Agree4 Disagree2

GoldCoastBhoy,

I may be wrong, but haven't Rangers already been punished for their wrongdoings i.e Administration and 10 point deduction?

You lot are that sad and pathetic you all want new rules introduced just so Rangers can be punished further more.

Get aff yer high horses man.

TTG..the OP came from a rangers fan posting on the Celtic page going on about fear & hatred etc. What's 'pathetic' about answering it ? Mrs E

Agree3 Disagree1

@TTG; Another rankers fan who knows nothing about his club. You have been found guilty,and accepted the fact,to the tune of 24m.The tribunal is rankers fighting the penalties and interest.so if you win the tribunal 100% you will still owe 24m. Do you people just turn up like the shuffling un-dead in a zombie movie at the flash of a union jack at ipox? Or do you actually know anything about YOUR CLUB?..........green jhedi

Agree4 Disagree1

The level of hatred posted on this site is astonishing as is the level of hypocrisy. Lets ask you all a question, you want Rangers to pay back debts (yes they should) Why? Is it because you are all upstanding members of society and don't want to see any business struggle without money they are owed? Lets say the answer is yes, if Rangers go bust will you lose sleep over the backroom people that lose their jobs? I'd doubt it. You talk about it as though you have morals and yet what most of you want is the end of Rangers, which is the end of some people's livelihoods. There is more to life than football. {Ed007's Note - Are you losing sleep over the people who might lose their jobs because of Rangers not paying money they owe? A lot more people lost their jobs when Woolworths went into liquidation than will if Rangers do. I am asking a serious question, not having a dig. Why should Rangers be treated any differently to any other business that has faced liquidation?}

A lot more people lost their jobs when Woolworths went into liquidation than will if Rangers do. I am asking a serious question, not having a dig. Why should Rangers be treated any differently to any other business that has faced liquidation?}

They shouldn't be treated differently, but what I'm saying is I'm disgusted at how many people want Rangers to go bust. As a Rangers fan I wish we could pay all debt off, especially to small businesses. Unfortunately they can't afford it. The simple fact is Rangers employ people, and I cannot understand those that 'hate' Rangers so much they want to see people lose their jobs. {Ed007's Note - Nobody is wanting anybody to lose their jobs, you show me where anyone has said that? Maybe it is more the people who ran/run the club, the players and directors that took loans from the EBT with no intention of paying it back who need their conscience pricked without blaming it all on everybody else. There is nobody else to blame, this is Rangers' mess, the only people who have caused it is Rangers themsleves, that is the reality of it. If there is any wrongdoing then Rangers need to face their punishment, just the same as any other business would for years of spending money they didn't have. As David Murray once said, 'Business is business'.}

Agree1 Disagree1

Why are Celtic supporters being hypocrites ? Lets be honest...who be responsible for anyone losing their jobs at rangers ? The big earners who were happy to take 'loans' from EBTs etc.

Football clubs are notorious for being poor employers that pay the minimum wage and most work there thru choice so don't be kidding yourself !

Ed007 man utd debt as u say aint falling neither is madrid or barca but u know better i forgot u were a genius this site is for morons

YNWA {Ed007's Note - Sorry you should maybe do some research before bashing your keyboard. I am not a genius BTW, I failed the test by a measly two points. Man Utd's debt fell from £508 million to £439 million last year, a drop of £69 million, but don't let facts get in the way of your superior knowledge:

www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-17116060

So you have proven your own point, as a moron you have came here to be educated.}

Agree1 Disagree2

As usual the waters are being muddied and the cry of "whae us, we didnae dae oneything wrang" rigs out. May I remind RFC fans that your club RFC up until the late 80's was a club who practiced sectarianism through their policies, and this was done openly and with some pride. Any other business which had such policies even at that time would have been heavily fined and probably would have been dragged through the courts as I believe it could be deemed a criminal offence even then. These historical events and policies are what is hated and quite rightly so. Unfortunately this history is insidious and pervasive and to a degree this intolerance some would say hatred of Irishness Catholics and those who support CFC still appears to exist in some sections of the institution that is RFC. We should all hate bigotry, sectarianism and racism from wherever it comes. I think many people myself included have lived with bigotry and have been attacked verbally and physically for no other reason than being a catholic or for wearing a green and white scarf. This is what we hate and anything which will reduce the chances of this type of behaviour continuing we will grasp gladly. If that includes the death rattle of RFC as an institution with historical anti catholic sectarianist policies then I dont think we can collectively or personally be blamed for that. The points about the red tops are well made and valid. These journalists who encourage divisions between football fans really should hang their heads in shame. There is blood on their hands and they are an affront to common decency. So please Rangers fans dont come to our pages and bang on with these charges of you all hate us and you are all hypocrites. None of us are convinced and we only tolerate your nonsense out of politeness and in the hope that you will one day be educated regarding the reality of what the institution of RFC represents and why it is though vile and repugnant by many. Sopot Celt

We want rid of you because your club is a poisonous, disgusting and vile organisation.

There is somebody who wants Rangers to go bust and thus people to lose their jobs. {Ed007's Note - Where are job losses mentioned in there? Can we please deal with what is posted and not what you want to see?}

Agree2 Disagree0

Ed if Rangers go bust then jobs will be lost, they go hand in hand. {Ed007's Note - It's still not anything to do with CFC and their fans, and it still isn't mentioned in the thread. If Rangers had paid their bills and ran their business accordingly there would be no chance of job loses. They go hand in hand as well.}

Actually they don't a business can go bust due to external factors such as the economy. You have missed the point, if you say you want Rangers to go bust then, what I have said is that people should remember that jobs will be lost. {Ed007's Note - If you are just going to say the same thing over and over there is no point discussing this any further. Unless it directly affects you it just looks as if you are trying to show CFC supporters in a bad light.}
