Just seen a comment on Facebook from a rangers fan that some Celtic fans are planning to take a banner on Sunday 'Help Our Troops - Pay Your Taxes'. Don't really know about this but the fan is totally outraged and hopes its taken off the Celtic fans & other words that as a repectable Celtic fan I won't repeat. I just can't get enough of the amazing feeling of victory when you see karma kick someone's ass !

Nah ed just had Loads on recently, very unfortunately for the Mac clan and have moved house. I'm not able to post from my mobile now for some reason so had the delay of new ip etc.

Been readin though, got to say the whole of scottish media are an absolute joke, they appear to "report" well behind the time and usually falsely. Really would urge ALL users of these sites to keep their monies. If we did they would have no choice but to improve, or should that be actually do some work ffs. Keevins was a classic last week sayin atletico will hammer celtic then could not name one player for them. Not a single player, one of whom(falcao) was outstanding last season and was bought for 40million euros. Hardly a small transfer, its no wonder they get things wrong so often, if they cant glean MAJOR transfer information from anywhere and commit it to memory.

Traynor on saturday claimed he was all for teams(sion) taking on the authorities and standing their ground if they feel aggrieved.
Unless you are Neil Lennon, Celtic FC or anything to do with us.

Switch off, dont buy and we will ALL get the benefit

Ed, I'm a bluenose through and
through but just read your Jock
Stein article and it brought a tear to
my eyes. This was a truly magnificent
achievement and one that proves
Stein was probably the greatest! I
remember the game in Wales where
he passed away - I cried like a baby.
He will not be forgotten. {Ed007's Note - Thanks very much mate. I have actually put it as a blog, never really done one before:

Dear Ed007, FF81, BB1 and all bears on here, Rangers are SAVED, read Daviet 21.03.02 on gers banter. This Tax expert has stated as FACT, Rangers have no case to answer with HMRC. Just one wee question daviet? how come your legal skills are not employed by Mr Whyte? Timalloy

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Oh good God, man!

Did you even read what I posted?

I stated that HMRC have asked a tribunal to decide on the legality of RFC's Employee Benefit Trust.

I stated that RFC believe they have acted fairly, and that HMRC believe they have not- hence the tribunal.

What I stated was that HMRC are trying to close this loophole, but have lost several cases before. Did you look at the link.

I then went on in a few posts to explain my concern about various goings at RFC.

I have no idea what you're on about "legal skills". Read my post carefully- it's cut and pasted from various sites...

Interesting article on Peter Lawwell

daviet {Ed007's Note - Davie, do you honestly think I am going to post a link to that bigoted neanderthal's site. Surely there is a village somewhere who is missing their idiot.}

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Daviet, ha ha, you called yourself a moderate and cordial bear the other day, isn't it funny how quickly all you bears are exposed LOL Timalloy (your cordial tim)

Agree2 Disagree1

Apologies Ed...

I should have stated that that site is currently down for maintenance and that only one article appears on the page- regarding Peter Lawwell. Apologies for not making this clear. I get back to the village in a mo....

I understand your reluctance in posting the URL.

And Timalloy...you have no idea who I am. You have no idea the amount of very positive discussions that I and many other RFC and CFC fans had on these pages over several months regarding the issues of bigotry, sectarianism and respect.

Before you jump down my throat again, look closely at the language I use in posts when I refer to RFC and CFC fans.
Then compare that to some of the terms of reference used by others'...

It's just an small instance, but a VERY important one...

To explain my absence, I used to be a regular contributor to both pages (CFC and RFC) but became fed up of the constant abuses which went further than the usual banter. That and the pressures of work kept me away. But it's nice to come back every now and then.

daviet

ps- keep it up ed007..... {Ed007's Note - I wasn't meaning you were an idiot Davie. The editor of that site is.}

Agree0 Disagree2

Daviet is making an absolute arse of himself tonight. He's giving out ridiculous legal advice on the Rangers webpage and even the Rangers fans are telling him to shut up because he's talking pi5h.

Er Daviet pal, yes I noticed your "language" on your own site telling someone to "F" off for questioning you, ha ha very moderate, out of the mouths of babes and idiots are they condemned by their own actions ha ha ha bear you do "bear" false witness hail hail timalloy

So here we go on another European merry go round. My prediction is this......we will finish bottom of the group on 2 points. That'll be 2 home draws, one home defeat and the standard 3 defeats away from home.

I'm as passionate about Celtic as the next man....but I'm also a realist. I'm one of those people who kinda hoped we wouldn't get back into the Europa League. We have enough on our plate to win the SPL even when THEY are in pieces across the raod. HAIL HAIL.

ChrisBhoy

I agree we will finish bottom. I do think we'll get a win tho. Not about qualification for us tho, all about the revenue generated from the tournament.

Yes it's irritating to lose a young lad who supposedly has a great future ahead of him. It annoys us even more when you look at what the club has done for him and his family. But we'd do it to another club if we got the chance so there isn't any point in complaining too much. Yes, show your frustration by all means, but that's how it goes. Evening Ed007, just been listening to Radio Scotland and Chick and Traynor arguing again about Rangers, hilarious. Gist of it was Chick was accusing Traynor of not asking enough questions, about administration, about the warchest, again Traynor said Whyte told HIM directly, that £15m would be available for wages and players. Traynor was also saying that even if HMRC case was won, which he doubted, there was stil a £10m downfall. Guy texted in and asked why press had not investigated Whyte and his companies the same way they did with Fergus, Chick's answer, from a so called journalist, was hilarious, he said it was "hard to find information about his companies"
Traynor then accused BBC of not investigating Whyte more closely, then the argument turned to the press saying Whyte was a "billionaire" then moved down to "multi millionaire" then finally to a "wealthy businessman" you could not make it up, it was the best comedy I have listened to in years, oh dear when the lap top loyal fall out ha ha.
Hail hail Timalloy {Ed007's Note - Evening Tim, I'm listening to it. I don't usually but I had to tonight to hear them squirm. John 8:32 HH}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

ED why are we squirming. Did you actually read the newspapers today. Obviously as Celtic fans yous couldnt understand the Story and all you all seen was headlines.
I hope to come on here on Sunday night and most of you all will be on saying "oh we were robbed, referees are poor, never a penalty, conspiracy" or on the other hand it will be as normal when you lose something (which is quite a lot in recent years) oHHHHH so quiet, its oh so qiuet, shhhhh, shhhhh. There you go ED you know the song I will hum it you sing it LOL. {Ed007's Note - I don't read 'red tops' so I have no idea what you are talking about. I don't need to read them to know what is happening at Rangers. I do like the way you gullible people choose what to believe and disbelieve though regarding what suits your current state of denial. After months of me telling ostriches like yourself what was going to happen, you now decide to trust a newspaper! Just like you believed the '£15m Warchest' story and the fabled (blatant lie) Jelavic Surely there can't be any more bad news? John 8:32}

Agree0 Disagree0

Edd07, gullible bear, Traynor tonight on Radio admitted it was Gordon Smith who made up Jelavic bid, gullible bear we are never silent on this site, we have too much to enjoy. We look forward to you coming on Sunday after the game when the mighty hoops thrash you 5 -0, Bang Bang hatrick, hail the new larsson. Leave a name when you come back or else we shall name you the humming bear LOL Timalloy {Ed007's Note - I know, it's strange that I was accused of making that up about the Jelavic 'bid' Tim? Even stranger how my physic powers have chosen this point in my life to materialise eh?}

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Sep 2011 19:15:42
Ed, I've read your posts over the last few months about the situation at Rangers and you have been spot on. Can you give me your honest opinion to what's going to happen to Rangers? Cheers Ed.
Followfollow81 {Ed007's Note - Thanks mate. Everything really hinges on the 'big' tax case but administration (not liquidation) is a distinct possibility. It is looking like Whyte has been planning for administration all along. Even if Rangers win the 'big' tax case, the transferred debt could prove difficult to pay. Now that the law has became involved it is hard to accurately say what will happen. For a 'self-made billionaire', Whyte doesn't seem to have very much actual capital to invest in the club. He has broken practically every promise he made the Rangers fans and the day to day running finances of the club are obviously struggling to meet the demands. It could get worse before it gets better. The planned wage cuts does look like it could mean sales, either in January or next summer, you aren't going to cut that amount from stadium staff etc, it will be the playing staffs budget it will need to come out of. }

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Followfollow81, dont worry, Celtic will help you out, we will take McGregor and Jelavic for £1m for both LOL Timalloy

Agree0 Disagree0

If Rangers did go into administration they are talk that the administrators would let Whyte take over as main creditor. (only if Rangers go into admin) Is that true? That's the bit that worries me the most. As you said Ed he has broke all the promises that he said when he took over. But being a Rangers supporter I will give the team and the ones that are running the club my full support (well more so the team and manager). Cheers Ed.
Followfollow81 {Ed007's Note - Quite right FF, back your team and McCoist, he hasn't had much help. If the club go into administration then HMRC become the main creditor. Until Rangers or Lloyds (they are still owed the transferred debt) state who owns the floating-charge of Rangers assets it is difficult to see who would control the club, entering administration will not affect Rangers debt.}

Agree0 Disagree0

You wish timalloy you wish. Are you saying McGregor and Jelavic are better that your keeper and hooper? You would be aswell taking Naismith and Davis to. We will throw in Broadfoot for nothing. Lol
Followfollow81

Agree0 Disagree0

Followfollow81, living up to his name, "following" all the different eds to ask them same question LOL Timalloy
There are some "eds" you havent asked FF all the "Ed"cases on Rangers site ha ha Timalloy

Agree0 Disagree0

Whyte is a diificult guy to get info on but what does seem for sure is...he has previously set-up a company that went bankrupt, he has moved to Monaco in the past (tax haven but the team he bought would know about that) and he does or is the front for a company that does specialise in businesses in trouble & turning them around, then selling them on. However, football is completely different from a normal business as is proved with the tax case...HMRC would hit a 'normal' business with a 'winding-up' order. Wouldn't take Jelavic, he doesn't want to play in Scotland at all ! Hooper's a Happy wee Hoop

Agree0 Disagree0

Are you saying Ed001 & Ed014 is a Edcase? Lol. I see your on the Rangers page grassing me up cause I asked Ed007 a question. You are worth a watching timalloy. Lol. Are you JEALOUS?? Lol.
Followfollow81 {Ed007's Note - Ed001 is a LFC fan so he is a bit unstable, Ed014 is new so I'll go easy on her, for now ;-)

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Sep 2011 18:27:13
why cant rangers fans see what everyone else can see.no matter what garbage whyte is spouting,thet are deep in the brown smelly stuff.they have just had monies in their account frozen today.now,given the state of the club,does anyone really believe that if a multi million pound offer was made for jelavic,that they wouldnt have jumped at it?because the deeper they get into debt,the less and less teams are going to start offering for their players.in fact,they,ll soon be receiving offers in the region of offers they themselves have been making.jelavic for £3m?.mcgregor for£2.5m?.it will happen.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

And you know all of this because you are blessed with all the insider information going on at IBROX.... Correct?? {Ed007's Note - Yes, I am ;-)

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh dear Ed.. are you another internet warrier thinking he knows all lol {Ed007's Note - I can assure you, I am very far from a internet 'warrior'. Tell me one thing that has happened to Rangers that I haven't been saying for months? I explained the Martin Bain situation weeks ago, the second tax case, Rangers cashflow problems etc etc. Can you prove I am a liar? What has happened so far at Ibrox proves me not.}

Agree0 Disagree0

All things you have said are mainly taken from a fantasist journalist website who`s main aim is to sully Rangers.
Like Whyte said ` Stop telling lies about us, or we will start telling the truth about you` {Ed007's Note - No, everything I said was based on facts. I have the statement that Craig Whyte sent out to shareholders which was sent to a family member, it was all there in black and white. You can also check his business history on the Companies House website. What lies have I said when everything I have said has happened. I stand by everything I have said. Your time could be better spent worrying about the fact that after months of denying any problems they are all coming to the fore, just as I and many others said. Or are you still of the opinion that it is all lies and made up? Craig Whyte doesn't seem to think so.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Cant you take a joke ED as you have said to myself in the past its banter, thats why LOL is at the end of comment. scotzine.com/2011/09/chelsea-bound-islam-feruz-abus/
Saw this nonsense earlier today. A big headline claiming feruz has been "racially abused by angry Celtic fans".
Now, I've read the article and the only form of racism seems to be that "you can't trust Africans". Hardly warrants this headline does it? Don't get me wrong, Racism has no place in the world and needs to be stamped out but FFS.
Whilst there is a lot of over the top comments which nobody should be subjected to but to claim Celtic fans have been racially abusing him just shows what a scummy site it is.
And before anyone says I don't know what I'm talking about and that I don't know what being racially abused feels like, I'm married to a mixed race woman and we have been given plenty of abuse for being in a mixed marriage. Real racist abuse not this pish.
Ben Bhoy 1916 {Ed007's Note - I just deleted that other thread Ben, thanks, I never noticed that, my fault.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

No worries
ben Bhoy 1916

Agree0 Disagree0

ED, just read this and as a Gers fan I did NOT see anything Racist on there. BUT there was some really bad comments made on his site from some of your fans. I just want to know something tho, do you agree that the boy should make something of himself and also help his own family in the process. Yes Tommy Burns and Celtic helped this boy in his hour of need, but Tommy Burns would have never stood in the boys way to better himself. No one and I mean no one would turn down a opportunity to better themselves if they could. I for one and probably yourself too would (if offered very good money with another employer) not move on and take that opportunity. If you think about it ED how many very talented young boys are out there who have signed S forms with both the old firm and been Sh*t on by them both and just left to crumble going back to the streets and ruining their lives. Yes he could have signed Pro with Celtic but any youngster at his age if a top club (nothing to do with history) came calling offering that cash they would all jump ship and go. Yes he will go down there and probably never make the first team but he has to at least give it a go. {Ed007's Note - Money turned his head a long time ago. As for the 'he owes TB' line, TB and CFC done what they could to help Feruz and his family. TB would be happy to see his career taking off, which ever club he is at. The boy was only 12 years old when TB died. It's hardly the same as nurturing McGeady for so many years. Feruz could have hung about a bit longer, even through loyalty, but he hasn't, deals like this happen all of the time, Feruz has a long way to go before he gets in Chelsea's first team and only time will tell if he (his agent) made the right choice. I hope he gets sold in 5 years time for £100m, we will be due a percentage for training compensation (like Rangers with Arteta).

Do not know what the Uefa decision will be but I will go on record now to state if Celts do not get into the competition due to a 'U' turn or backdown by the men in suits it will not surprise me.
Scotland has no muscle in Europe....
Anyway I have said before on here that I think NL is too niaive in Europe and another year under his belt on the domestic front will be a financial sacrifice for the club but hopefully a better prepared manager and team for the future.
We are not ready for Europe and it showed in the qualifiers and the ineligable players were not exactly Barcelona 'Ringers'. Just an honest opinion....

Good Morning Ed, ref "no matter what way you put it Mr Whyte inherited the mess"

Yes, he did and he knew exactly what he was taking on. From all the press reports at time of takeover, Mr Whyte only paid £1 because of the impending £2.8m tax bill. So to try and come out now and say it came as a surprise is nonsense.
Read his piece in today's papers, were he says there will be at least a £10m shortfall this year. Is it me, or does that sound that a clever businessman like Whyte has based his accounts on money that MIGHT come in (champions league money) no business accounts do that, you base your cash flow on what IS coming in.
Luckily, I do not support rangers, but if i was a fan he is not the type of person who fills you with trust, he just seems to be taking the fans for a ride.
For a so called "billionaire" he seems very short of money! hail hail Neil T {Ed007's Note - Morning Neil, CFC and Rangers have both said over the years that their financial outlook was based on them not winning anything, if Craig Whyte has planned for CL money it only highlights his naivety.}
