VVD subbed after 64mins for Holland when score 2-0 to Czechs, no injury!playing those 5 games in Engerlund must have put his career right back!! I do not think. He has a lot to learn

Tam
First goal was absolutely his fault. stood like a statue and never moved
He looked nervous and was not composed on the ball
He is not international class yet and I agree, has a lot to learn
BUT he has moved on and apart from the mouthing on his time at CFC in recent days, we did well out of him being with us for a couple of years
He should shut up and focus on improving his game and his attitude

See VVD got given the run around tonite! Before being subbed after an hour! Guess he'll have to go back to Southampton to learn some more! Maybe he'll to keep his mouth shut in future! But I doubt it! Put a smile on my face but! 😂😂😂 Ungrateful sod!!

Didn't look very clever at all. And has been found out at that level again.

I pis*ed my pants when I seen him play the other night, it just reminded me of how he struggled in European games. It was the VVD I remember, he did OK in the SPFL but let's be honest he was found out a good few times up here. Then I seen a 19yr old but the name of Martial rip him to bits he's clearly not learned anything since his move. Only thing the move has done, is make him believe he's better than he actually is, I think we miss Jason Denayer more than VVD.

Evening Ed, How are you mate?

What is your's / others take on Scott Brown retiring from the Scottish scene to lead us to 10 in a row?

My own view is it is a good idea, past few seasons seems to get a niggle he never gets fully over to Christmas!

Lead us there, then a coaching role for him could never see him as a manager but would be great to have around the place for sure (y)

{Ed007's Note - It's a great idea and he's quite right to do it, I'd like to see more of our players following his lead.}

International managers seem to stick with the same faces . I think Scot Brown is a great midfielder , however he has played in four or five campaigns with Scotland and not qualifying for anything . Time for new blood for Scotland and more important , time for S Brown to have some time off during the season. Celtic will benefit with Brown opting out of International football.

As much as I think he can still do the job for Scotland, such a decision will only benefit Celtic. And personally that's all I really care about. I've seen enough of Scott Brown's character and leadership and read the odd bit about him wanting to go on to coach so no reason why he can't start it at Celtic. He'll not become manager/head coach until Bitton has signed for Barca though.
