Ed do you think we will offer Edouard the same wages as Brown or have even higher to keep him here?

{Ed007's Note - I don't think that'll matter, Pud, Scott Brown - like most club captains - will have a clause in their contract that they are on par with the highest earner at the Club.}

I never knew that about Captains salaries ed007. Broonie deserves every penny he is paid, whenever he decides to retire he is going to be hard to replace on the field and off the field.

Edouard strikes me as a player who has his feet on the ground and is more interested in developing his game by playing each week rather than getting mega bucks sitting on a bench. Even if he doesn't sign new contract I reckon we will get another season out of him.

Edouard seemed very happy in his latest interview and there has been a continuous improvement in him over the 3 seasons he's been here. I always got the impression from Dembele that he felt he was probably ready for a move after his first season. Hopefully he's content enough to give us one more year.

I hope I am wrong but if Scott Brown is not relegated to a non playing captains role, this season is doomed to failure, am I the only one that sees Scott as the weakest point in the midfield but the strongest point in the team spirit, he can do that role from the bench,

Aindoh, I think watching on radio has effected your judgement . Most of us think Forrester is brilliant and that Brown holds the hold team together, yet you think very different.

Cheers Ed. I never knew that about the captains. Madness that Tavaneir would be on the same as AM. It will be hard to replace Brown. Calmac will be the next captain.

{Ed007's Note - It'll be just the same salary, image rights & bonuses etc can make a big difference. I agree with you about McGregor being the next captain - maybe even Forrest? - but I think that'll only be through sentiment and to be fair to both lads they don't live their lives in the public eye, would either of them want the extra attention and publicity?}

Does anybody know of the new balance on the seats at paradise have been removed and replaced with Adidas yet?

Nike wanted a stripe removed because of their rivalry with Adidas.

He has never explained the meaning behind the L and V signs.
Edouard has mentioned he started doing the celebration as a youth player with PSG. His friend who plays with Lille also does the celebration and he has never explained the meaning behind it either.
