Wonderful viewing LC, He was so happy to get the message from Samaras. I was saying just last week to Ed001 how inspiring it was reading Michael Watsons book. It's just as inspiring seeing this wee Bhoy.

I can't imagine a happier life for the wee guy he must be living the dream as a celtic fan and having so much involvement in the club. I'm playing devil's advocate a little with my second point as I'd love to see more superfan kids from every walk of life have a chance at meeting players and having a bit of media exposure. The after hours work that our squad do with communities, hospitals and charity is second to none and I love reading every story that makes print knowing that there are many more deeds fans and players alike that help. Personally by biggest heart felt thing with Jay is his enthusiasm, it rubs off. It also gives the younger fans coming through a different outlook on how different life can be. It's lessons to treat everyone equally and help and support where you can. I'm proud of that.

Not here to pour cold water but i think the point about other special needs kid was valid. there is also the sticky situation, second hand to me, that the wee fellows dad is getting used to the attention, maybe a bit too much. Nothing against the boy or his Dad, but was it such a good idea to thrust him forward so much?

Having said that to see the bhoy win goal of the month was pretty special.

I think his dad is milking it all. It’s getting too much and he needs to put the wean first for a change. Doesn’t sit right.

Hi Ed's

I was reading on the European pages about a possible European breakaway league happening within the next 10 years.

What would this mean for the future of Celtic FC. Would we be a part of this league or would our future lie in a sort of united British league?

Believable0 Unbelievable1

{Ed007's Note - We would probably be involved in any future second tier to the breakaway league but we wouldn't be part of the initial breakaway, and there's no plans for any British league.}

Any preference for what you would like to happen ed?

Agree4 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Honestly, Kev I wish they would all just pi$$ off and get on with it and leave the rest of us to get on with it. And unless it was only a midweek league we were joining I'd hunt them and tell them to stick it. I would never support any plan for Celtic to leave Scottish football, it's one of those be careful what you wish for situations for me.}

Lawwell said as much. I seem to remember this cropping up a few years ago due to big clubs, us Ajax, Porto etc not getting a bigger slice of the CL pie. Did they not try to call UEFA's bluff and threaten to form their own league?

Something has to change, basing it on viewing figures is laughable.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - It's all to do with the top clubs from 'The Big Five' leagues England, Spain, France, Italy and Germany wanting more money and control of their own TV rights and advertising revenue.}

ED It's a bleedin disgrace that the Champions of country that is a member does not go straight in. You now have the situation where, in some countries, finishing FOURTH is as good as winning the league.

Agree2 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - And we were lucky to get them to keep the Champions Route, these clubs don't care about us, they don't care if we're in the CL or not with their condescending pish about how Celtic Park's a great arena etc.}

Spot on Ed Celtic are a Scottish team that should always play in a Scottish not a European or God forbid a British league. As long as teams who are not domestic champions can participate and potentially win the Champions League it will remain the farce it is. I watched Liverpool fans watch the Champions League final in Santa Ponsa and I’ve heard more noise in the chapel what a soulless league and fan base which if you removed the sky money from would die on its arse. The Real Madrid fans were videoing the Celtic fans singing their hearts out for 90 minutes while asking the Liverpool fans ‘Whits the goalie daen Tam’ and pissin themselves laughing much to the amusement of the Real Madrid fans. And was Stevie G string no half getting it tight. They are as much interest to me as Kenny Dalglish’s knighthood.

Agree2 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - If we ever leave Scottish football and aren't regularly winning trophies the stands will end up full of tourists and the prawn sandwich brigade and we'd become just another plastic club with money being the only thing we can brag about.}

After a couple of seasons in a british league with the tv money on offer we would be challenging for the title.
