George Peat says he and everyone is sick of Celtic complaining about refereeing decisions going against them , he says its getting boring , well so is the "usual, explanation" the ref had a bad game , well is it not time YOU did your job and took these incompitant refs and linesmen to task , YOU were only to happy to sit in judgement on Neil Lennon when you dished out a 6 game ban for having the AUDACITY to bring BLATANT bad refereeing against his club (which could inevitably cost him his job) up , i think it is YOU Mr Peat who needs to have a long hard look in the mirror

Hi all, liverpool fan here.
What exactly is happening up there with celtic and the scottish referees?
I am not going to say I am a massive celtic fan but I always check the scores and when possible watch some of the games, also been up there twice to a game as my mum is from glasgow.
Celtic should be winning most games 3 and 4 nil so they shouldn't need to complain about decisions, maybe time for a real manager.
At least u are still top, we are crap!

To big glue bear
does this mean forrest will get a 6 games ban by the bigots, sorry i mean the s.f.a.

{Editor Note: What an absolutly silly comment to make. I don't know what the whole scenario is with the referees/Celtic/SFA but if that is what attitudes are like from Celtic fans then its no wonder referees went on strike and its no wonder you are recieving masses of criticism.}

Ed - I'd be happy to bring you up to speed on that! The reason for the most recent spat between CFC and the SFA/referees was the recent falsification of match reports from referees and officials involving the club. They were also exposed by a fourth official for lying to the club and to Neil Lennon. Celtic criticised (rightly) those (and only those) involved on the day and the SFA sat on its hands - choosing to allow some other referees to sit in judgement on the issue and despite accepting guilt, refusing any punishment. The supervisor invloved at the time has since resigned having been exposed by NOTW for sending bigoted emails from his SFA account. The referees took the huff saying their integrity was being questioned. They were right, it was and would remain so until the official in question be brought to account. Fat chance! The facts in this matter speak for themselves. The SFA then blamed CFC for the crisis despite its own incomtence in handling the affair, and despite the fact that the club had refrained form any comment until after the SFA's own internal investigation was complete. It is historically accepted that past bias existed within the Scottish game (and society) but this was poularly believed to have ended in the modern era. There is some truth in this but we've still a way to go depite all the progress. This assumption of improvement exists despite an SFA Chief Exec being forced out as recently as 1999 for having deliberately failed to register a Celtic player prior to a cup game with Rangers. In the 80's when I was younger, Celtic players were booed when playing for Scotland. Nowadays, Irish born Celtic plaers are booed at nearly every away ground in the country. The last 2 and a half years (around the same time that a firnancial crisis has existed at RFC has seen an astonishing run of "honest mistakes" from referees. Yesterday saw what most even in the local media accept was an act of revenge when the manager was given an unprecedented 6 match ban from the association following his removal to the stand in a game agains Hearts in Novemeber - his first offence. This was followed by a withering and personal attack on the club from the SFA who exposed their own prejudice in the process. Of course some are guilty of scrutinising every little decision, but against this back drop, is it any wonder?

Last night game just sum up scottish refs it just makes me sick. How can anyone make so many mistakes in one game like for christsakes am sick watching this sh*t nearly every second or third game. I would pull celtic out of this league in the morning and let the rest of the teams and the rangers winkers see how long they last without us. Let them crash and burn. I am sorry for the rant ed but if it was happening to your team you wud be pead of too. The SFA do not want to see neil lennon winning trophies with celtic FACT. CELTIC were right about dougie mc donald and Hugh Dallas and the SFA back them two clowns everytime.

{Editor Note: I'd be annoyed at the poor refereeing. But I certainly wouldn't suggest that my FA had an agenda or conspiracy against my team and I wouldn't suggest that they are bigots like some idiots suggested earlier.}

Why would he get 6. . No wonder the sfa don't like u guys, everyone of u have stinkin attitudes.
Lennon done wrong so is receiving the punishment.
Maybe if he watched what he was saying to officials, he wouldn't be in bother.
Celtic r dropping points to football teams not referees!

Just driven past Celtic Park on my way home and saw. . . . . . . . . . . . Nothing. For all these people who think they have seen keane, owen, given, messi etc, get your head out of the clouds, we can't afford these players. Btw, if anyone wants to pay 8m for broony we should take it and play kayal and juarez together.

13 Jan 2011 17:40:01

Celtic may be set to refuse fans from purchasing tickets for the next away game. This will hurt the SFA big time with Celtic usually taking around 15k fans and tickets being sold at £30.

HOW WILL IT HURT THE SFA?

Game off. Celtic seek clarification. Was the snow real and if so who made it fall? Is this proof that even God is against them and should he resign? The catholic church will comment later. This "convenient" snowfall when rangers had injuries must stop.

Have you actually been to a celtic game?! 15,000 travelling fans per game? Here are the reported attendances for the last 6 celtic away matches:

5, 163 v Hamilton
3, 877 v Berwick
50, 222 v Rangers
6, 073 v St.Mirren
15, 632 v Hearts
6, 866 v St. Johnstone

so perhaps you should maybe think about what you are saying before you make bold statements!

Sky sports have llconfirmed celtic have been in contact with christian benitezs agent about a move, don't know much about him other than he pretty s* t in front of goal for birmingham, is this guy any good for us ed.

{Editor Note: For the SPL, he'll probably be ok.}

He had a poor time in front of goal for Birmingham but for Ecuador and Santos Laguna he averages a goal every other game.

I think the fact he does it for Ecuador is very impressive as they are definately a minnow on the international scene.

How about u just boycott playing all together and leave the rest of scottish football to play in peace without some wee daft school wean greetin!

Trust me its what WE want.

And for boycotting the gers game how daft are u lot that would end up costing celtic around £1 million. Plus reangers wouldn't then be obligated to split the gate reciepts with celtic and would therefore stand to make more money how idiotic are you lot !

13 Jan 2011 15:48:37
To the clown that said celtic are goin to boycott the next game as they take 15k fans to away games since when? Does that mean at easter road tynecastle pittodrie that celtic get allocated more seats than the home team? Or this just another whopper like when uze took 7 billion fans to seville. More like 70k

I got a better idea why don't we boycott the old firm cup game this won't just cripple the sfa but also rangers banking on the money for gates reciepts to put in for Goodwillie as reported in paper today .

What you think ?

Celtic are too refuse to play in the Scottish Cup next season if the "Honest Mistakes" don't stop. Also it is not just the referees that are causing a stir at Celtic George Peats very professional comments of "Shut Up Celtic" may also be investigated.

To all those Tic fans who think the worlds against them get off the brew and get a life. Honestly have you nothing better to do. Hamilton were the better team last night and because you can't take that the whole world's got it in for you's. Rangers had 3-4 big decisions go against them on Tuesday and there was no outcry. Please will you realise that it's because celtic have a bad team and manager that they are being outclassed by bottom of the league teams.

Once again Celtic have to deal with a referee with an agenda who is doing the sfa's bidding by making at least three highly controversial, game changing decisions all of which go against the hoops. This is payback for having the temerity to highlight the obvious bias at the highest, corrupt level of Scottish football, and then following it up by using the appeal system set in place to question the severity of such sanctions imposed on Lenny. The only answer is for Celtic to withdraw from the sfa sponsored Scottish cup, and for hoops fans to only attend home matches and buy tickets for Pittodrie and Easter Road. At least Aberdeen and Hibs are impartial when it comes to the old firm. Let the other mini rangers loving filth sink in their own squalour without Celtic fans filling their grounds twice a season. The lip- stick wearing lady boy Collum should never referee our games again. Fed up of the conspiracy. Jim the Tim

And also for all the celtic fans sayin ibrox is a dump and that rangers are goin to go to the wall have a read at some facts. Rangers are the most succesfull club team on the planet. Fact! Ibrox is a 5 star stadium whilst parkhead is 3 star. Fact. Celtics debt is hurtling towards the level rangers is at. Fact. So would u all stop talking pish on here ur the most deluded paranoid fans on the planet. Great to be a bear! Watp

The reason for the extension to the ban was due to gross misconduct in appealing every decision even ones that clearly didn't warrant it. Celtic have made their bed now go and lie in it! the arguing between peat and celtic is school boyish at best from BOTH sides but then again even as a ger we know that peat can be like that now and then . . lennon is just like that 24/7 !

even Mjalby has been quoted as saying that he needs to get a grip !

Do you think celtic are getting done over for standing up to the sfa tonight hamilton goal offside no excuse the six yard line was a guide forrest was a booking at worst mcginn was a clear penalty but he got booked for diving that's 3 big decisions in 1 match all against 1 team coincidence or revenge you decide

WE ARE DEFINITELY SUFFERING AT THE HANDS OF THE SFA. LENNON IS CHARGED WITH AN OFFENCE FOR WHICH HE GETS A TWO MATCH TOUCHLINE BAN. WHEN HE APPEALS, HE THEN GETS A FURTHER FOUR MATCHES ADDED TO THE BAN BECAUSE OF THE MANNER IN WHICH HE SPOKE TO THE FOURTH OFFICIAL. WHEN HEARING AN APPEAL YOU CAN ONLY DEAL WITH THE EVIDENCE IN RELATION TO HIS INITIAL BAN, YOU CANNOT INTRODUCE ANY NEW CIRCUMSTANCES RELATING TO HOW LENNON SPOKE TO THE FOURTH OFFICIAL, AS HE WAS NOT ORIGINALLY CHARGED WITH HOW HE SPOKE TO THE FOURTH OFFICIAL. THIS MATTER HAS NOT BEEN PREVIOUSLY CONSIDERED AND AS SUCH CANNOT BE INTRODUCED AT THE APPEAL STAGE. THE SFA HAVE GOT THIS PROCEDURALLY WRONG. NO WONDER CELTIC'S LEGAL TEAM HAVE BEEN BROUGHT IN.

ALSO, GEORGE PEAT WAS ON THE TV LAST NIGHT CRITICISING CELTIC FOR MAKING PUBLIC STATEMENTS. BY PEAT MAKING THESE COMMENTS ON TV, HE IS CRITICISING CELTIC FOR DOING EXACTLY WHAT HE HAS DONE. AND WHY SHOULD CELTIC NOT HAVE THE WRIGHT TO MAKE PUBLIC STATEMENTS.

ALSO, PEAT STATED THAT CELTIC HAD DELIBERATELY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO APPEAL THE APPEAL DECISION ON THE EVENING BEFORE AN SFA COMMITTEE WERE MEETING AND THAT SOMEHOW THE TIMING OF CELTIC'S STATEMENT WAS DESIGNED TO UNDERMINE THIS COMMITTEE. THE TIMING OF CELTIC'S STATEMENT OF THEIR INTENTION TO APPEAL THE APPEAL DECISION WAS MADE ON THE DATE THE APPEAL DECISION WAS MADE, AND HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH ANY COMMITTEE MEETINGS. I THINK THAT THIS JUST DEMONSTRATES HOW THE SFA VIEW EVERYTHING THAT CELTIC DOES WITH A BIASED VIEW.

The signing of c.benetiz if true is shocking the guy couldn't score in a prorhep never mind on a park he had his chance an birmingham and was shocking to me celtic should sign mcguire as he will run his heart out week in week out and u knw wat u will get with him. Regarding the 6 match ban lennon got we should deal with it as we are always up against the rangers governing body I.e the sfa. Let's concentrate on matters on the park we will go 7 points clear tonight and if we don't sign anyone else we have a squad good enough to win this title as over at the girodome aka ibrox they are mince shocking we have a chance to biry them so let's take it this time and send watty away with his tears running down his empty hands. Come on neil and the bhoys.

paranoia at its best. forrest was a defo red so was mcallister for accies but mensing wasnt a red but it was a pen as for mcginn sometimes you get them n sometimes you don't but he did go down rather easy to be honest. also goals win games celtic didn't have a shot on target till the 67th min that tells its own story the ref or sfa had nothing to do with that celtic just werent going to score from open play they needed that pen if they didn't get it accies would have seen the game out with 9 men

We should be beating teams like Hamilton easily, but we move on to saturday and i am sure the bhoys will secure a win. The unprecedented 6 game ban for lenny, and some very dodgy desicions against us will ultimately work in our favour, as the players and fans, will develop a siege mentallity and roar the bhoys on to the title.
