Official word is he has an injury.

Apparently a few places saying the want 4 million now! Wouldn’t go anywhere near that sort of money for him! Get him on a pre contract in January and let’s move on to areas of the team that need strengthened, like RB and centre half!

Heard hibs have raised the price twice now. If that's true Celtic should walk away.

13 Jul 2018 10:29:39
I want McGinn, but not for 4m. I would be happy for the club to pay 2m. That way we get the player and Hibs get cash to improve their team.

Less than what we paid for Brown a decade ago and seen as his cover replacement or better . so no I don't think it's to much if br wants him enough . also re this saga how can we moan about how engerlish clubs pay offer too little for our top talent then complain when hibs stand up for themselves . are we hoping this celtic supporting bhoy forces the issue alienating himself at his club possibly stalling his career just to save some money?

Agree1 Disagree0

13 Jul 2018 11:41:56
DRP Brown had more than a year on his contract and had other teams bidding on him. Mcginn has neither.

Agree1 Disagree3

13 Jul 2018 13:31:07
I thought 4 million for Brown was crazy money.

Based on recent performances in last few seasons it’s a snip but McGinn for me isn't the answer to progressing and isn’t even in Armstrong league to be considered a replacement.

Loads of fans say that kind of thing everytime we try to sign a player from Scotland Kev T.

Agree0 Disagree2

13 Jul 2018 15:17:56
Cause so many when they sign fail to make the step up even on a domestic level

Our team is as it is good enough to win a treble again but I want to see us perform better in Europe.

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Jul 2018 17:13:04
Kev T there are plenty that do step up just fine as well.
You never know what will happen untill they do.

In addition Fiat, who sponsor Juventus paid the transfer fee.

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Jul 2018 22:12:08
Fiat workers are striking because they think the money should be invested in the factory . And rightly so.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Fiat halved their debt and made a profit of 3.5 billion Euros last year and it's not Fiat that own Juventus, it's the Agnelli family (EXOR who made 143 billion Euros last year) that own both, well they only own 66.7% of Juventus and 29.18% of Fiat Chrysler but do control both - otherwise there is no business connection between the two.
I've no idea what the workers are hoping to do but it seems a bit stupid to me considering the rise in income Juventus will get from marketing Ronaldo, it's like Dermot Desmond's workers moaning that we signed Edouard.}

13 Jul 2018 08:16:21
The workers are only striking at one plant (Fiat Chrysler have 7 plants) , it's one of the smaller plants too so it isn't going to affect production very much anyway and it's the one where there is a strong union representation. As Ed said, Juve are not owned by Fiat Chrysler. HH.

{Ed001's Note - it is the Jeep factory as Jeep are the shirt sponsors.}

Unfortunately don't think even the Sevies could lose to this mob. Going by the odds they must be equivalent to the likes of Montrose.

Think shkupi could give them a game on there own turf. And they will again cement the undead as the laughing stock of world football.
