The EPL really is magic to watch, certainly brightens up a horrible wet Monday night. I can't see anyway at all for Torres ever to get himself back established in the Chelsea team, a kid who was loaned out and a almost hasbeen who wants out come Jan (to the highest bidder!) are both keeping a 50Million player out! See what happens when the chairman gets involved in transfer dealings!

Believable1 Unbelievable1

You've got to love the EPL who would of said 2-1 after the first ten mins??

Not a bad wee night for you Ed..watching the mighty Man City drop points :) - Mrs E {Ed007's Note - GRRRrrrrrrr

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh is he a City Man? didn't know that one cheers Mrs E :)
CB67 {Ed007's Note - Me??? Are you joking???? I will ban you from the site if you accuse me of that EVER!!!!}

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't really follow the EPL but see those 2 teams a dont think Celtic & rangers history even dents the amount of money between the starting 22 lol

Lenny

Agree0 Disagree0

No, no he's very much a Man Utd fan ! Myself, I prefer Liverpool :)) - Mrs E

Agree0 Disagree0

If anyone at Celtic wants to see how to take a pen watch Lampard take his tonight!
Its not hard?? All you need to do is crack it as hard as you can as high in either corner or even down the middle! God when you think about the pens we've missed the last couple of seasons man.
The goalie has literally no hope if you do this.
CB67

Agree0 Disagree0

Jesso Ed that's you threatened me twice in two nights with banning me LOL!!
I'll set the Mrs on ya!!;)
CB67 {Ed007's Note - As long as she bites!!! Accusing me of supporting Sh1tty is a banable offence!!!}

Agree0 Disagree0

Lenny your right regarding the money these two have spent, but IMO they've only got maybe 4 or 5 outstanding talents over the years. The vast majority are just overpaid premaddonas who play when THEY want to play, they've no love for the club,jersey or fans its a joke!!
200k a week to play football the worlds gone mad man!! They'll never have a larsson in a million years.
CB67 {Ed007's Note - Look at this!!:

Ok I'll have a read and get back to you. Personally it's just the tim's I'm interested in.
I watch the EPL cos its usually great to watch and I pay for sky sports and ESPN (for the one game a month we're on? with Craig Burley commentating,wot a T1T he is too).
But each to his own, I just don't like people supporting a team just cos they win all the time. I'm sure that's not the case with you but you know the ones i'm talking about surely?
CB67 {Ed007's Note - My family stayed in Manchester when they left Eire, my dad's team was Utd till he moved up here, I am not a glory hunter mate, believe me.}

Agree0 Disagree0

OMG just checked that link you posted £85!!WTF that's proper mental. Keano would have a fit. ;)
CB67

Agree0 Disagree0

I know I might be a bit thick but is it £85+vat for a ticket & a prawn sandwich ? - Mrs E {Ed007's Note - No, just the sandwich!!! You can save up and take me Mrs lol}

Agree0 Disagree0

Hey that's a class blog man i'll give you that, my grandad and dad still talk about some of the games and players you mentioned in your article. Good stuff Ed keep it up, I've forwarded that to a few select tim's who will appreciate it.
Cheers CB67 {Ed007's Note - Cheers.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Hay ed what part of Eire did your family come from? We might be cousins lol. Bigirishmac {Ed007's Note - Cork and that way BIM.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Originally when I saw it I thought that would include the ticket too Mrs E but then I remembered just how much teams like Arsenal and Chelsea actually charge their poor fans to pull out week after week!! It's crazy eh?
You can't beat a pie n a coke a C.P with maybe what £3.50 change fae a tenner so were not that bad. I still will not go near a bovril never have never will. It's bloody car oil!!
CB67

Agree0 Disagree0

Cheers bud, catch you later

The prices at Celtic Park for their food is a scandal... I keep telling my son we're going to start bring a packed lunch. I had a pie on Saturday to soak up the alcohol & try and stop my shivering but all it did was make me feel worse - well until Wanyama scored & Fraser saved the penalty :) - Mrs E

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh from the rebel county. Bit of a Roy keane about ya alrite ed lol. Am from packie bonner country meself ed.. I think everybody in Ireland has cousins in Glasgow. It's the only thing I'd change in this country is to move parkhead over here so I could go to every game. Lol. Bigirishmac {Ed007's Note - Keano is my hero lol!!!}

Agree0 Disagree0

My granda was from packi bonner area to mate. Infact exactly there. A wee fishing port called Burton port, I met packis brother when I visited. Do you know it? Markiebhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah I do lad have a friend from there. Gods country lol. Bigirishmac

Is there a reason our game on Sunday is not being televised , just checked sky and espn websites and they're not advertising it,was wondering y it was a 3 o'clock ko.........DH {Ed007's Note - Europa league match.}

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Yeah ed I know we're away on thurs but every away fixture in spl is usually televised either on sky or espn {Ed007's Note - The game was moved because of that I think mate.}

Agree1 Disagree0

Is that definite? The games not on telly at all?? If that's the case it's bloody shocking!!

Agree1 Disagree0

That's really pee'd me off, I just presumed that as it was on Sunday we'd be on telly.
Were away to St Johnstone too which is always a tricky one. I can gaurantee you that we'll see Scott Brown starting that one for sure.

Uefa fines Celtic £12,700 for 'illicit chanting'.

Its about time these fans stopped embarrassing the club.

Believable6 Unbelievable0

Hopefully this will put a stop to some of it but you will always get your idiots who will keep at it, we have to stamp it out as fans and basically highlight the numpties that are shaming our club. That's us got a record in Euro now it's a disgrace.
But as I read in a post earlier if you go to Bulgaria or countries around that region also Italy these "fans" are doing a hell of alot worse and again nothing happens!!
Cb67 {Ed007's Note - I've said that all along about other fans (Italian football is rotten to the core), but it's not a case of passing the buck. It's not that hard to grasp if you can't behave and respect what the manager and board say you are dragging the club down. Do these people think they have more of an influence at the club than NL or any decent minded fans?}

Agree1 Disagree0

A lot of fans are raging now at the minority who sing these songs and have given us this fine. I can't help but feel maybe all of us should have been a bit more vocal in our condemnation before it came to this. We are all guilty of turning a blind eye, its been going on forever as we all know, it shouldn't have taken getting in trouble for it for us to be so appalled. If we had got off with that today most people would still be turning a blind eye. I think its a blessing in disguise. Markiebhoy. {Ed007's Note - Well said Markie.}

Agree3 Disagree0

I know exactly where your coming from Ed and i'm pretty much on board with your comment too. A lot of people think it's just young guy's who keep signing the songs that put us in the sh7t but I can assure you that's not the case, there are a good few older gents who should really know better but I guess they have got to the age when they've said i'm not changing for anyone. I've seen it a C.P when the elders will start which only encourages the younger and slightly "socially disabled" for use of a better phrase to continue this "activity" which is really making us look very bad. But we also need some consistency from the powers that be, it's almost as if they've just written off the countries that are well known for their "old school views" .CB67 {Ed007's Note - I've admitted singing/chanting back in the day, we all have if we are honest but times have changed. I wouldn't do anything to drag the club down now. If you love them that much why ignore the fact.}

Agree1 Disagree0

Optimistic Markie, but I hope your right

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah true Ed but as I say you have to have an even playing field, not one rule for one another for another. Some players are literally scared to go to some of these countries {Ed007's Note - Some of it abroad is atrocious. How they get away with it I don't know. I dread us getting a Turkish team in Europe.}

Agree1 Disagree0

Ah yes the Turkish,they only slaughter goats in the stadium and throw pigs heads onto the pitch!! Whats wrong with that ;) ?? Tell you one thing about them, I will never understand how Souness managed to stick a Galatasary flag in their much hated Fernabache's pitch and walk away untouched. I was surprised he was still alive after that game. They are HUGE rivals in Turkey thats for sure.
FYI i'm not 100% sure if I got my facts right regarding the teams (Fern and Galt or which one he managed) but the flag incident is 100% true.
CB67

Agree1 Disagree0

Couldn't agree more , thats only the first fine , its been coming for a while , come on lads lets keep it tae the Celtic songs , you know it makes sense , thats us in the book and the penalties will only get heavier .

Can't believe Rangers are offering Edu a new deal. Can't belive folk on the Rangers page saying he tries and he's solid etc. Well my last s**te was solid but it was still rotten. Edu's guff.

Gerry The Ger {Ed007's Note - We have some poor players Gerry but Edu is terrible. My brother in law moans about him all the time (he's a Rangers fan BTW).

Believable4 Unbelievable1

I've been at it with the shames site over Edu everyone of them is biting, loving it/!!!! LOL.
CB67

Agree1 Disagree1

CB67 you haven't posted on the Rangers page today about Edu. You haven't tagged any of your posts. Are you tagging your posts with another name?

Believable3 Unbelievable1

Anybody got Aluko mobile number?? If he's daft enough to spend money to join rangers he mite be daft enough to pay our fine lol. Bigirishmac {Ed007's Note - My nephew has just texted me that BIM :-)

Agree2 Disagree2

Ed..How does it work if Celtic decide to appeal ? Can UEFA change their decision altogether (just wondering) - Mrs E {Ed007's Note - They can appeal but they won't. PL and NL probably hope that it will help stop it all Mrs.}

Agree1 Disagree2

Speaking about dodgy chanting ,was it only me that heard some pretty dodgy stuff at the Hibs game?

Agree7 Disagree7

The strange thing that a few of my non old firm mates like to remind me off is that we and that lot seem to get away with it on away games

Agree0 Disagree0

I heard the chanting at the hibs game, i actually posted on the rangers site asking about it but they didnt put it up

Rangers fans seem to believe that Celtic won't thrive without Rangers should they go out of business. It's not about thriving without Rangers it's about Rangers paying for Tax Dodging, Breaking SFA rules etc etc.
This is NOT Celtic's doing, this is Rangers doing, Rangers fault and Rangers problem. Do you expect sympathy from the SFA and taxman? Do you think it will all go away? Yes of course you do because you are the people and you are 4 points clear.
You lot think you can steamroll over anyone and anything to get what you want. Not this time, yer teas oot.

Breaking news.......The taxcase has been won by Rangers on the grounds that they are the people......Source Daily Rangers.

Believable3 Unbelievable5

Calm down pally, the case is yet to be settled, anything else we've heard is just rumour. And no-one is suggesting Rangers Tax issues have anything to do with Celtic, however if the team did go out of business it would be hard to argue that it wouldn't have a massive impact on Scottish football.

Agree4 Disagree0

It may have an impact but personally I believe Rangers should not be let off by the SFA and allowed to continue in the SPL (for the sake of Scottish football). That would make a mockery of the game.
It would send signals telling us that we as a club can rack up millions of debt, go into administration to clear that debt then carry on as if nothing has happened.
