That's a real shame for KT, one of the best players in the Premiership this season, Arsenals best player and doing great for Scotland.

There is a proven phenomenon known as in-group bias, which you may or may not have heard of before.

The reason I am mentioning it just now is I wanted to point out why we need referees with no connections to the groups within Scotland.

So what is in-group bias?

In-group Bias (also known as in-group favoritism) is the tendency for people to give preferential treatment to others who belong to the same group that they do. This bias shows up even when people are put into groups randomly, making group membership effectively meaningless.

It has been proven that people either consciously or sub-consciously favour people from their own group and it can result in prejudice and discrimination.

Over the years there have been a lot of studies on this subject and it has been proven beyond doubt that in-group bias is real.

Celtic should be using these studies to build a case on why we need referees with no connections to groups within Scotland.

Only by doing this will we vastly reduce the bias among the referees in Scotland.

It's not in-group bias we are up against, it' mob-rule and has been since The Reformation.

I can’t understand the fuss about moving the Rangers game because Prince Philip died.

I don’t remember him or the Queen rescheduling anything when Rangers died.

Feckn relieved to hear about this in group bias.

There was me worried for years I was a bigot because I wouldn’t give them a nod in the desert never mind a decision.

Very interesting about in-group bias, I think it can also be used to explain our failures on the field this season, in the squad there is/ was an in-group, in the managers team selections, which meant certain players got picked for no other reason than they were in the in-group.

Hope so Mally left footed centre half can play left back also being watched by a few down south so he will be another one away if there’s no pathway to the first team.

Very true Bhoys, he's not 18 until the summer, has good size at 6ft 2' and I think his contract is up next year so I'd be hoping he gets a new deal at the end of this season.

We've lost far too many promising youngsters of late.

I've been thinking about the delay and I can think of one explanation. Maybe they are waiting for the new CEO to be in place, that way it's under his watch that a DOF and Manager come into the role, as coming in under PL would seem like the man leaving the job chose, which due to recent decision wouldn't sit well. Also, if he had come in and Rangers beat Celtic it would be a bad start for a new manager. If it was me I'd hang off starting until after the sevco game, if we win it, it's a walk on to silverware. If we lose it then the season is over when he started so doesn't effect the hope of a good start.

We had Kennedy at the weekend and now Taylor shouting their mouths off before the cup game, I don’t like it that we are doing their team talk for them. After the result, give it to them by all means but not before, for years they never seemed to learn their lessons, where tavernier used to come out and mouth off and our team would just stay quiet. It seems the tables have turned .

I am a firm believer in doing your talking on the pitch. I was taught a lesson growing up that you don't have to tell people how good you are as they can see it themselves and being a braggard leads to problems.

Is what Kennedy and Taylor said the same as the way the press have portrayed it.

12 Apr 2021 16:25:04
There should be no press or media interviews by players, before a ball is kicked and experienced managers should know better. Especially after the season we have had, so far and the treatment we have endured by the Sevco-loving media; who have hounded and harassed Celtic, literally from day-one. It's as you all say. 'Do your talking on the pitch' and never give them the chance to misquote, fabricate or goad you into a rash response.

We've been spoiled putting them to the sword under Pedro and Warburton when it was all great fun. They owe us a win and I think we'll do it. We'll be right up for it and they look spent, Hibs carved them open with ease at times and they miss Jack in the midfield. Go at them fast and early and McGregor won't save them this time.
