reading a couple of articles today. fifa have hired one of the worlds top bio scientist and has advised them no football will be completed and now fifa could be leaning to the void option. im afraid this is looking the likely decision as the days go on. hope I'm wrong.

Doctors are saying null and void? Aye mate. Sure.

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Apr 2020 10:01:45
Read the same articles. The one's I read it was UEFA who hired the professional. What I took out of it was they were more inclined to go the Belgium route and call it. Never seen Null and Void in article.

Would be some call from UEFA declaring season Null and void. Some big TV deals would have to be paid back.

allinarow a doctor wasn't mentioned and it certainly wasn't mentioned that a doctor said to call the leagues null n void read the post again and not just take out of it wit you want to its not rocket science.

ninja i couldn't agree more it would be some call. the article i was reading definitely was fifa who hired and the void option was certainly mentioned again ill repeat i certainly hope I'm wrong big time. i just don't have any faith in any of the numptys from any of the organisations that run our game.

Liam Can you put the link up to the article. Seems interesting read. The few I read were about a FIFA guy called Michel D'Hooghe. Praising UEFA for hiring a bacterial scientist Marc Van Ranst. Did say UEFA were coming around to no football and season won't finish but as I said. I took the Belgium route and call it. The scientists is Belgian and what he recommended to Belgian FA.

UEFA needs teams to be allocated for next season's European competitions therefore leagues could not be null and void. associations will need to call leagues.

12 Apr 2020 12:42:34
We should call the teams at the top Champions and relegate Hearts because they deserve to be relegated having not won a single match outside Edinburgh this season.
The clubs to feel sorry for are Partick Thistle and Falkirk for obvious reasons.
Make the Championship a 12 team league by not relegating Partick Th and promote both Raith Rovers and Falkirk. Stranraer would be relegated and Cove Promoted. Brechin would stay in the league and we could promote the 2 non league clubs to make it a 44 club association. Only 2 clubs would be relegated Hearts and Stranraer who deserve relegation.

buzzbomb mate, you need to stop going to the school of common sense, and leave the place for someone from the spfl board.

12 Apr 2020 14:12:43
How it fair to relgate hearts but not thistle? . I hate hearts and hope they are relegated but its not fair to relegate 1 and not the other.

Agree3 Disagree0

12 Apr 2020 14:42:32
Partick Thistle are 2 points behind but have a game in hand.
At present Thistle could be getting relegated by the average points system of 0.4 of a point behind QOTS. Hardly seems fair.
On the average points system Hearts have only accumulated 0.7 of a point gained from 30 games played. That is relegation form.

Agree1 Disagree0

12 Apr 2020 19:36:49
If hearts get relegated Partick should be relegated also.

dc7591 buzzbomb puts up facts and figures to back up his logic, were are your facts and figures?

Agree2 Disagree0

12 Apr 2020 21:36:20
To be fair to dc7591, it doesn't sit right with me that someone could deem it fair to relegate a bottom placed team with a 0.77 ppg average but unfair to relegate another bottom placed team with a 0.96 ppg average. Both are the epitome of relegation form.

Agree2 Disagree0

12 Apr 2020 22:01:45
Robroy the fact is both hearts and partick are bottom of thier leagues so if 1 is relegated the other must be relegated too. there's no other facts needed.

Agree2 Disagree0

13 Apr 2020 09:57:38
The fact is Partick Thistle are 2 points behind but have a game in hand which you will agree is not the same as Hearts being rooted 4 points at the bottom.
League reconstruction in the Premiership would never get voted in because the clubs don’t want to split the prize money 14 ways. But I think league reconstruction would get voted in the championship.

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Apr 2020 10:00:26
Its a lot harder on thistle given that they have a game in hand but realistically they wouldn't win it since they've been gash all year. If we're to be crowned champions along with the other teams sitting top then im afraid the bottom teams have to be relegated.

As the old saying goes, u can't have one without the other. Personally id rather finish the season cos we would finish 20+ points ahead and really embarrass the tribute act, can't see the games being played in any form tho, it needs to be ended and it just would not be fair to void it. We deserve to be champions.

Agree1 Disagree0

14 Apr 2020 00:34:29
Only concern with the league reconstruction is it being when we go for the 10. Much rather we got the 10 then look at expanding the league as it might fck us up changing it as we've dominated the league the way it is now.

I was just thinking about my wee nanna and how she would have dealt with this lockdown she was as devout as they come and would have been climbing the walls this week without mass and her argument would have been god will protect us it's all part of his plan. They were a totally different breed from what we are today but how could I argue with her devotion Happy Easter everyone stay safe. PS this is the one Sunday of the year I can't shake the guilty feeling of missing mass.

Jaw Mass was live streamed from St Augustine’s Coatbridge this afternoon and you’ll get it live-streamed from some parish in Scotland every day it was St Pats last week. And your wee nana was spot on their is only one man in charge he was crucified on Good Friday and is risen again today. God Bless my friend! +.

I really feel for the good folk who practice their religion faithfully and devoutly and cannot attend their place of worship and celebrate the sacraments and practices that give them comfort and strength, especially in times of emergency and despair.
Catholic Masses, Sunday Service and other religious gatherings were available even in wartime to give people hope and sanctuary and this virus and the fear of contagion has temporarily taken this away.
However, individual sacrifices, faith and patience will prevail and one day soon the church bells will ring a resounding chorus.

Funny that nobody wanted an inquiry into SFA and SPFL practices when we asked for one. Schadenfreude anyone? 🙂.
