Sure I read an Austrian team I think saltzberg refused to let their players go away for these internationals. Has anyone heard of any sanctions they got? Cheers.

No sanctions sure they can do it as they have an agreement with Austrian FA.

Have Salzburg got a similar agreement with Austrian FA as Rangers2012 have with Scottish FA . Both have wide range agreements with facilities to update and add new relevant clauses as required.

We have players testing positive left, right and centre and FIFA/ UEFA sitting back encouraging players to travel all over the world mixing and mingling for Internationals - even meaningless friendlies.
All the time the 'rules' seem to be made up as they go along, with double standards and contradictory interpretations on quarantine.

The whole thing is a shambles.
When Bolongoli broke the rules we had 2 games called off despite him testing negative, now it appears players are actually playing with the virus yet their team mates and opposing players can carry on, it seems anything goes with International football.
There surely has to be some form of compensation paid to clubs when players go on International duty fit and healthy but come back injured or with C.V.

Christie saying he has 19 months of his contract to run and saying no rush to sign you would think he would tie down an extra 2 years with a buy out Claus if he really wants to stay. Me thinks he is stalling hedging his bets. Suppose he's got to do what suits him.
More Celtic players got C.V. Not happy about that I'm not sure of the rules for Scottish v country games but what is the cut off point for stopping these games. As we know it's our best players who play for there country that's virtually every Celtic player these days. With our world wide scouting missions.
What can Celtic FC do Christie to isolate but negative but they play as team so all players testing negative should be ok wether he hangs with players or not they train with each other and in close contact why just Christie. I don't understand. Now big bitton we need him against rangers and now Ireland 5 players isolating it's our players we own them pay there wages give them a great life and virtually have no say in country games. This is not on.

Was thinking Duffy why have they not mentioned names all the other players are named they are no different.
It's actually putting me right off watching football and different rules for each country. Christie is negative same as all the other players so why is he quarentine he would have been in contact with every player both team why not everyone.

Fitnessguruandy, Going International is entirely up to the player.
He can say thanks but no thanks.
Getting an International cap ups their price, reputation and sellable value so can't blame players.

I'm disgusted and astonished, no-one from a National Football Association or either of the Governing bodies have intervened yet.
How many confirmed cases does it take for them to do the feckin obvious? Club managers and The Players Unions should also speak-up.
It's a deadly virus we are talking about here; - maybe fit young footballers are not as much at risk as some, but there families are.

How many from Sevco has it? Jack and McCrorie, were they the only two in the Scotland squad? They've probably not got many with it - just shows the least successful players, the better it is for them.

Don't worry no matter what team we put out we will win.

Those on here of a certain vintage will remember "The Quality Street Kids" This was our reserve team under the Lions, old Rangers were so desperate to win a trophy, ANY trophy in those days they played their full big team in a Glasgow Cup final, big Jock put out the kids, needless to say we won 3-1 hail hail.

When Duffy signed, Celtic changed to a 3-5-2 formation.
Ideally we had 7 winnable games to get a settled team before the arrival of Sevco.
Although we won our 7 games, we haven’t had a settled side.
It would’ve been worse if our settled side was being dismantled.
Celtic still have the players available to win on Saturday.
