Why albeit a crap scoreline a good performance, obvioisly i thought a few changes including burke should of been made but overall i thought they done ok come on its scotland if you want medals watch tennis instead.

Snodgrass and Wallace. 2 grasses on. Strathclydes finest must be over the moon.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

11 Nov 2016 21:34:35
What is it with the grasses stuff, I don't get it.
Only recently our toilets were wrecked by them and all and sundry were on here givin it why don't they tell the police who it was blah blah blah.
We can't have it both ways get a life.

? Poor Rayman had fell over old boys glass and banged his sense of humour.

11 Nov 2016 21:16:18
Reasons why Scotland are getting beat tonight Lee Wallace grant Hanley Christophe Berra and Darren fletcher.

Believable4 Unbelievable1

11 Nov 2016 23:10:33
From what I saw:- the defending (including marking and chasing back) was shambolic and as average as England were, they were half a yard quicker and sharper than us all over the park.
We did manage some good possession and attacks, but rarely made the right choice with final ball or shot and never tested Hart or their centre backs - who are not as good as they think.
The ref made some mistakes, but not as many as our players.
Possibly the beginning of the end for WGS - who probably went one tourny too far and has lost momentum, confidence and belief.

Agree3 Disagree1

11 Nov 2016 22:42:38
totally stupid and biased comment wallace was the best player scotland had maybe you should have watched the 2 celtic players I midfield who were embarrassing.

Agree1 Disagree6

12 Nov 2016 07:47:02
Wallace ball watching for lallanas goal criminal but that apart thot he did ok.

Agree2 Disagree0

12 Nov 2016 08:15:53
Cee it's not biased at all going forward Wallace done well but let us down defending. If I was making a biased comment why would I include the 2 centre halves and fletcher. The 2 centre halves and Wallace were at fault for the first 2 goals you can't argue with that. I thought fletcher looked slow in the midfield. so how is my comment biased?

Agree2 Disagree1

12 Nov 2016 09:57:19
@kerzo1888 - so Gordon's reactions weren't slow to 3rd goal, LG wasn't a greedy get when he should have slipped in Snodgrass and SB wasn't half the player he has been for Celtic this season? That's me being biased with tongue firmly in cheek!
I actually thought we played OK but couldn't take our chances. No excuses for getting beat by 3 headed goals though.

Agree0 Disagree3

12 Nov 2016 11:03:24
so you guys think I'm being biased towards Wallace when I have picked out 4 players that I thought (in my opinion were the cause of the goals) 1st goal 2 central defenders never picked up the striker free header. Second goal Wallace never picked up lallana free header. 3rd goal Hanley and fletcher ball watching and another free header. You can't argue any of what I have just said. I couldn't care less if Scotland had 10 the rangers players in the team as I support Scotland every game. the four players I picked out are the cause of losing the 3 goals they played for Scotland last night not west brom Newcastle Ipswich or the Rangers so tuck yer heirs back in.

Agree4 Disagree1

12 Nov 2016 11:40:15
That must be up there with the worst Scotland defence ever. Wallace is never a left back, anya is never a right back and Hanley n berra should not be near the Scotland squad. If there are no better centre backs than they 2 then Strachan should pack it in because he'll get nowhere with that pair at the back. Thought the midfield done well, if Griffiths made the right decision with his effort and put snodgrass thru it would've gave Scotland something to fight for.

Agree1 Disagree0

12 Nov 2016 12:03:56
@kerzo1888 - I never said Wallace was blameless, just pointing out that other players can get brought into the mix for the finger of blame. Surely we win and lose as a team?

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Nov 2016 12:15:14
Wallace third choice at best, anya is hopeless, Hanley wooden, berra has great hair tho and big Gordon had no chance with any of the goals, maybe we're just not good enough.

Agree2 Disagree0

12 Nov 2016 12:18:38
I never said at any point that any other players were good I'm just pointing out the players that were at fault for the goals. Seems to be a few rangers fans thinking I'm singling Wallace out just because he plays for the Rangers but at no point have I mentioned The Rangers. 3 the Rangers fans have jumped on my comment if you don't like it then I suggest you head back to the land of the dead page.

Agree4 Disagree0

12 Nov 2016 22:25:12
How could Wallace be an International player, He himself decided he was a Scottish Third Division player . Now u can't have so little self confidence and then play for your Country.

Agree0 Disagree1

13 Nov 2016 09:20:19
@oldbhoy - so if Celtic get knocked out the CL and don't make the Europa league then they are all SPFL level players only? You don't half spout some nonsense.

{Ed001's Note - if you are going to keep on posting bigoted, sectarian and abusive (plain nasty for that matter) rhetoric, as you have been constantly, then you will end up getting banned because you are being a total prick. You are the biggest bigot on here, constantly whining about others being bigots. Just drop it and grow up or go elsewhere, somewhere they enjoy bigoted rhetoric that you seem to think is ok to post.

You are a hypocrite of the highest order, constantly on about bigotry, while expunging pure bigotry and hate in 99% of your posts.}

Gota say as an Irish man watching Scotland v the arse holes am gutted they couldn't take their chances or defend a little bit better because that side in white were there for the taking petty I had to turn off cause I just couldn't take any more of Tinsley and hoddle chins up lads your humility and class is worth more than there arrogance and snobbery.

11 Nov 2016 22:13:33
Replicas, you are not wrong . About half the Scottish team played like poor Championship players . There was no excuse for that as an player worth the name of Scottish footballer should by his own personal pride and by the motivational skills of WGS should have played like heroes .
Tonight was more than bad and I don't think England were much good either.

Celtic old bhoy and current English Championship striker A Stokes has changed his plea and at a special court in Dublin yesterday pleaded guilty to assaulting a poor Elvis impersonator .
Mr Stokes will be sentenced on December 20th .
Not ideal behaviour of a professional footballer.

I'm predicting a Blue Christmas for him to be honest. I read that he was devastated outside court, all shook up infact. Definitely a major crossroads. It really is now or never to start knuckling down and making the right career choices. It could always be worse though Old Bhoy, he could be a Teddy Bear!

Was it around last Christmas he complained about having to go up to the Highlands and then sit in the stands .
This year if he is sent to Mountjoy, he will surely suffer bad times as Mountjoy is one of the hardest regimes in any prison on these islands .
Over crowding and out of date fittings and appliances are the main reasons.

It won't be a party in the county jail Old Bhoy. He should do his talking on the pitch and keep out of the papers. A little less conversation and a little more action.

DRB: Bonner
Mcgrain. McNeil. VanDyke. Lynch
McStay. Brown.
Jinky. Dalgliesh. Provan.
Larsson

This is just me having a quick look back over the years.
If you had time you could easily put together 10 teams each with e Celtic legend in it. OUR UNBROKEN HISTORY is littered with players who could get in any team in any league any day.

Love the idea DRB but extremely difficult to do, so I will just throw a few spanners in for fun.
As much as I love Broony I don't think he would hold a candle to the likes of Davie Hay or George Connolly for eg.
Roy Aitken MUST be in there even tho I was a huge fan of Elliott,
The bear could simply win a game for us by getting others to respond.
If Larsson starts (I know lol) then Sutton must be with him as I think they come as a pair.
All due respect to Charlie Nicholas and Dixie Deans tho as they were special too.
Its says everything about KT that I can't think of another LB that's better than him.
I sure others will think of players I haven't thought of.

I always liked tosh mckinlay at LB what a cross he had in him but it has to be Mr dependable tom boyd.

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Nov 2016 06:22:26
I'm with you Rayman, I have been watching celtic since the start of the 80s and LB and GK were always trouble positions for us. For that reason I went for Forster and Tierney. I know Tierney has not done much at celtic yet but I can honestly say he is the best defending LB I have seen at the club and isn't too shabby going forward.

Agree1 Disagree0

12 Nov 2016 08:47:38
I have seen some good full backs at celtic ed007.
Boyd
Tosh
Mahe but I rate Tierney as good if not better than them.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - So if KT never kicks another ball for Celtic you'd rate him higher than a guy that captained the Club and played over 350 games for us over an 11 year period?
Tom Boyd is a Celtic legend and should be in there before a 19 yr old kid with 52 games under his belt, you're doing Boyd a massive disservice here imo and you're letting your heart rule you head. KT has the potential to be a Celtic great - which Boyd already is - but to suggest that he's the best LB since The Lions is ludicrous.}

12 Nov 2016 12:15:29
It is my opinion that Tierney is as good a full bacK in I have seen at parkhead.
If you reread my post I said I was picking from players I had seeno not since the lions.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note -The OP asked for players since The Lions and it would be a bit absurd to pick players you haven't seen but it still doesn't make any sense to me.
I'm sure if we asked the same question back in 2005 some people would have picked McGeady in their team.}

12 Nov 2016 12:53:07
It's all about opinions
A lot of putility Paul elliot in and he only had two seasons at Parkhead.
And truth be told I'd have Tosh mckinley before boyd.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - OK then, good for you.}

12 Nov 2016 19:05:31
I agree Ed that Boyd is a Celtic legend as he was the captain of the team that stopped 10 in a row. However, I thought LB position was the weakness in our team for a number of years, as was the GK position. Boyd was probably the best of a bad bunch over the years but there was no denying his love of commitment to Celtic.

Until Izaguirre and Boruc, I had never seen a top quality GK or LB at Celtic and this dated back to start of the 80s. In my opinion Tierney is the best LB Celtic have had since Gemmell and I reckon big Forster was the best GK Celtic have ever had (GK were terrible up until the 80s) . Now I know that others may not share my opinions but that is how I see it.

11 Nov 2016 11:59:43
Just ran a quick simulation based on current points difference between us and Aberdeen and number of games played.

As things stand Celtic are moving 1.083 points ahead of their rivals each game. Now if this trend continues we will win the league after game week 28s games have been completed. This means we would have won with 10 games to go and 5 games before the split. By the end of the season we will be 41 points clear of our nearest rivals.

But Warburton says there isn't a gap. LMAO.
