Bhoywonder I hope Ronny hasn't got it in his contract to go on strictly come dancing haha but its refreshing to see some of the pressure that comes with being manager of our great club easing a bit. though as we know its a results driven business and another crisis may be just round the corner but its nice to see a good bit of support for what he's trying to achieve on this site ☺

I have backed Delia all the way. Glad it's slightly turning for him. How can we complain. Still in every competition. Top of the league. Granted champions league a bit disappointing but every celtic manager never mind a new one would struggle as we are stuck with fact that being the champions of ure country doesn't allow u straight entry into champions league. Farsical. One qualifier maybe but three. Come on. Has got to be looked at. We start our season too early because of this. We weren't ready and will never b properly ready in years to come because of this stupid ruling.

I hope Ronny is given time [at least 18 months] for his project to reap dividends.

I firmly believe that him and John Collins are excellent coaches and if given time will improve all our players.

After seeing the player's reaction on Sunday, it showed me that he has the full backing of the players and they have bought into what he is trying to do.

The two things that excite me most about Deila are:

1. I believe we will see more of our youth players making the transition to the first team because he has implemented his philosophy at every level.
2. He will get us playing more attacking football and at a greater pace. This has two benefits, which are: (a)it will be more exciting to watch. (b)our players will be worth more money because attacking players tend to sell for more than defensive ones.

To conclude, I think the fans should get right behind him and judge him at the end of the season, unless he loses the league. :P

I agree rabmac that Ronny should be given time, I also agree with the other poster in that he has a lot going against him in terms of funding, European entry, fixture conjecture, an impatient support. I'm not convinced about your comment on him bringing youth through though as iv yet to see it. In fact quite the opposite. The one player brought through by the previous manager last year and who did well (Henderson) struggles to even make the bench, O'Connel now that Ambrose is seen as back up doesn't make the bench, and he is yet to give anyone from the development squad a debut yet. I find that a bit worrying especially as I think most of us would see O'Connel as a more reliable player than Ambrose for starters, also as introducing youth was something That was part of Ronny's remit. He has brought through McGregor so far and played him in most games. I also think more of our young players will get a chance once he has cemented his position at Celtic.

At the minute there are still a lot of fans not convinced by him and he can't afford to take too many chances at the minute. However, I am confident that we will see more of the young players will get their chance before the season is finished. We only have to look at his record in Norway to see that he does give young players a chance. Saying, that I suppose we will need to wait and see if he does the same at Celtic.

It took Deila about 18 months to turn around Strømsgodset, from 12th position in the league to a 7th place and cuptitle. Even when he lost to-three of his best players, they got better and better season after season.

evening all, thought i'd write a post about what happened on sunday, I was quite angry about wot I saw that its took me a few days to calm down, I know everyone has their own opinions on the event in question but mines it that it should never happen at a football match (or anywhere tbh), wot good does it do?i thought it was a disgrace but like I said its all about opinions so ill ask for yours.do you think ronny delia should be allowed to dance in public? :)

Nice one! As my kids frequently tell me 'Dad' dancing is not for public consumption. having said that he looked fired up and that's always good to see.

The players and manager cannot be allowed to display that they are enjoying themselves.
If they can do that, the next thing us forum members will have to be positive and enjoy ourselves too.

Oh, just be happy you didn't have to watch it live on tv. My girlfriend love dancing and I had to watch it with her. I like RD regarding football, dancing he can do home behind closed doors. Hehe. Give the man a season to improve the team, and he will have you dancing just watcing them play. :-)
