Hi Guys. I personally think that IF NL was offered the Everton Job he would take it.

I could not blame him one bit. Old stadium, not a GREAT squad, got the losing habit. etc etc etc. on the plus side. team finishing bottom this year gets £60m. so maybe EFC will get, say, £80m. by god after all the running costs he would definitely get at least double, maybe 3 times what we could offer as a transfer budget, if he gets money from Fellacio and Baines!

JUST SAYING, I couldn't blame him. mind his wages would double also.

This man owes us NOTHING! Has been good for us. I hope he stays, GEN UP, however the cup performaces would HAVE to improve.

Anyways. all the very best to you Bhoys and Ghirls

! P. S. Well done to Ricky Burns tonight! YNWA!

Would love Lenny to stay for many years and build a team to dominate domestically and be competitive in Europe. No matter what though nobody is bigger than our club and we will go on! Hail Hail

hello ed, do u think motherwell will up their challange next year? I thought I was good they way they were able to get mcfadden hopefully they can add a few more experienced players in order to challenge us in the league and maybe get into the europa league group stages for excample. it would help the standard of the spl as well with them improving {Ed007's Note - I don't think Motherwell will challenge us for the league and it will be tough for McCall to replace the players who are expected to be leaving, including McFadden.}

Call me old fashioned and naive but I'd love to see our great manager and our great Captain lead our great troops into the Champions league fray in several weeks time. I'd love the same squad to stick together, especially Hooperman, an undoubted immaculate professional with bags of integrity. Never said a bad word about anything Celtic. He will make a great TV pundit one day.
The lure of cash is an understandable pressure but for some what is the attraction of money, for one year, over playing your sport at the pinnacle of levels in front of 65,000 adoring fans? Arguably, a great showing in the CL uplifts every individuals weekly rate afterwards, with big paying clubs, to make up for a lower rate in your CL campaign?
CL campaigns are for a select few footballers with tremendous faith in their own abilities to deliver performance at that level. In doing so they raise their own value tremendously. Messi knows it, Ronaldo knows it,.

Hi all,
I would like to congratulate Wigan F. C on their F. A Cup win.
Absolutely delighted for them, especially Shaun.

Who would have thunk it.

Lost Bhoy 50 {Ed007's Note - An absolutely fantastic result LB, I'm also delighted for the two James' McCarthy and McArthur. Wigan Athletic's starting XI cost £11.5m. Man City's cost £187m.}

Fantastic day @ Celtic Park today.

2 in a row 8 to go.

As for the game it was a pleasure to see the team ticking again. Absolutely no surprise to me the difference Scott Brown makes to the side. Anyone who goes to the games and has an understanding of football can see he dictates the tempo for us and when that tempo drops he let's his teammates know and brings them into line. Such an important player for us and it was a great surprise to see him out there and equally glad to see him brought off so's not to push him too much. A fit Scott Brown will be essential for the final.

Have to mention James Forrest, fantastic today. He looked like he is back to full fitness and has his confidence back and again showed why the doubters of him need to get to specsavers. Brilliant young player. His pace in the side makes Celtic look and play like a different team.

Champions again

Hail Hail

Thanks ED, Thommo does have a Glasgow double then! A real Champions display today I thought, Pacy and relentless the first half was lovely to watch. Forrest looks to be back to what we know he is capable of, Stokes worked and was unselfish, and the whole team had a nice balance to it. I listened to that plank McLean on the BBC, what a tool. According to him St Johnstone were insipid and very poor! Might it be we were all over them like a rash? Honest to god, it hurts this guy when we win! Nice to see Murray Davison clinching his move to second division football with sevco, that can be the only reason for some of his tackling!

Could someone tell me who the pink lady on the podium was? Arguing in the car trying to guess! HAIL HAIL. green jhedi {Ed007's Note - Probably someone from Clydesdale Bank.}

Hi Ed I take it your are surprised that Brown starts today? Made a point about a month ago with regards Brown making a comeback in time for the cup final. Great to see him back. {Ed007's Note - I was surprised Ian and also a bit worried that it might be too soon for him. Again he showed exactly what he brings to the team by making things tick over at a higher tempo. With Wanyama and Kayal out of the SC final, Brown will be needed against Hibs. Hopefully he has put his injury problems behind him and will be raring to go for the final and the CL qualifiers.}

I'm sure I just passed Alex Thomson in town, if it was not him he's got a Glasgow double! Anyway, hope everyone enjoys Themselves at the game and tonight and stays safe. Hope you make it ED, hows the leg by the way?. green jhedi {Ed007's Note - My leg is not bad thanks, hopefully getting another op soon. I was at the game today and had a great time at CP. AT wasn't in Glasgow btw.}

Didn't see the whole game, only saw bits and pieces but from what I saw the team looked back to their best.
As much as I think Commons is a great player. the team looked more balanced without him in there

Magnificent display orchestrated by Scott Brown who was involved in every positive aspect of the game.
Much more like it from The Champions in terms of skill, commitment and confidence prior to the Cup Final and no coincidence the Captain was playing.
Hopefully that whets the appetite of the players to turn on that sort of polished display to win a double.
Just a thought but I hope NL keeps Efe out of the Hampden starting eleven as the team today looked well balanced and steady although Vic will be a loss.
Thought Stokes was also immense in his work rate and link up play with some neat touches, pity he never scored to top it off. Thought Hooper would have scored too in a game we absolutely bossed, but there you go.
Well done Celtic 44 and counting.

Looking good at half time then. Brown sharp for 3 months off, him and Ledley in the middle for the cup final with Forrest and Sammy on the wings. Hooper and Stokes up front looking pretty decent again too. Reckon I'd keep this back 4 too next week though I'd rather have Matthews than Lustig, he's been bit shaky first half today. Daviebhoy77

I think Paddy Mc Court should be promoted to assistant coach to ease the way for Neil to move on when the time is right and Paddy to take the reins and guide us into a new era of Glory . as wise as some of the other posts. TTTS

Malcolm Murray having suffered the stain of a board vote of no confidence must stand down or be sacked. He is only an employee after all.
His refusal to stand down is clearly an offence to his own board and disrespectful. How can he continue as chairman of a board which has voted him out and be continually disrespectful to by remaining?
In addition, Walter Smith has gone public in the media with a blackmail threat to leave, with a demand contrary to the boards voted wish. A non exec Director usurping boardroom democracy like this should be dismissed.

This appears to be how these fellows at TRFC conduct themselves. Breaking the rules. Lack of civility. Disregard for regulations. Anarchic. Chaotic. The damage they bring to Scottish football and Scotland is now immeasurable. Keep them well away from top tier professional football.

How can people say that Sir Alex Ferguson is the greatest, most successful football manager in history? don't these people realise that Alastair McCoist has won 55 titles in ONE year! Drewzybhoy.
