To the people who are worried by our lack of transfer activity, you need to look at the successful teams from last season i. e. Chelsea, Real Madrid, Juventus etc. I'm not comparing us to these teams but when you see other teams in their leagues doing lots of business early such as Man City, AC Milan and obviously Rangers here, it's because they didn't do as well as they wanted last season and they're trying to catch up with the successful teams. Due to our success we can afford to take our time and make sure we get the right players to take us forward, we don't need to rush numbers in the door because we're already the team to beat.

Surely no idiot would be worried about lack of transfer activity . Manager and staff are on holidays as are people who do transfer work for most clubs . Its not like other years when we had to buy half a team or more, a couple of key performers in the right positions will do me fine .
Our Manager has more important things on his mind now and it won't be in our interest to annoy his new wife just now by taking his mind off her interests.

There have been a few rumblings Chris but I agree, quality over quantity is the way forward and if it takes until next month then so be it.

If we get a couple of quality signings I'll be happy, I don't see what the rush is to get them in just now as long as we have them early into pre season I'd be happy.

Although it's starting to look like we missed out on a good one in Solanke but there's no way we can compete financially with the likes of Liverpool, especially when the have CL this season.

Defo guys, it will come good, would rather have few quality additions who improve the team going forward.

The board will know who Brendan wants to go and who he wants in. It's up to them now. His honeymoon and rightly so is Brendan's main focus at the moment after his efforts this season. ☘️.

There will be many leaving as in Alan, GMS, Janko, Cifci. Bailly Commons Ambrose O'Connell Devries will be off the wage bill. Bitton and Henderson mabe leaving. Hopefully Armstrong signs a new deal and Roberts signs.3 or 4 Quality players added and bring in Christie and Ajer. As for Dembele what will be will be.

If the Quote from Alan McRae is correct I think he should stand down NOW I don't mind competition but why just say NewCo? There is other teams in the league apart from them and to hope we don't do it again is just bitter IMO.

Unbelievable that he's been allowed to say this without anyone asking him to explain but did you see his face when broony lifted the Scottish cup for the treble.

So that's the masterplan our head honcho has for the development of our league, just hoping that Rangers get better. Next.

IMO Celtic as a club Should take him to task over this.

He surely has to at least act as a neutral even if he hated the fact we were so dominant. The club has surely got to act and find out officially what the fek he is doing coming out with such things publicly? ?

@delbhoy1888.there delusion is frightening. so much so you would think that they are just at it. but they are not. they are all equally as deluded and gullable as each other. if they were fish they would be first out the pond everytime🎣🎣🎣.

A friend of mine once knew someone who had driven past a Saab. He obviously has links with the important people in Sweden so if your chef connection doesn't work out let me know and I'll see what I can do. I'm sure it would work lol HH.

As part of a school project I had a Swedish pen pal back when I was in Primary 3😉.

We should be careful about writing off this Ibra "link" after playing for teams at the Amsterdam Arena, Parc desPrices, Nou Camp, Bernabau and Old Trafford, surely the only thing left for Zlatan is to be set out to pasture at The Theatre of Leaks!

Didnt you link him with yourselves before he joined utd, nobody is kidding anybody on at least i've not seen a link which is unusual because it is silly season.

Looking at possible opponents if we qualify for the CL group stages and go into pot 4, based on travelling and getting clubs we haven't played I'd enjoy Celtic being in with Monaco from pot 1, Borussia Dortmund from pot 2, Spurs from pot 3. Would rather we were in pot 3 though so that we could get Feyenoord from pot 4.

So ideally for me it's Monaco, Borussia Dortmund, Celtic, Feyenoord.

Am sure we go into pot 3 because Man Utd won Europa league Stan! Don't know why but did read we would be better off with a Man Utd win!

Agree0 Disagree3

{Ed007's Note - If all the seeded teams qualify we'll be in Pot 4, we need 3 out of 6 teams above us- Seville, Liverpool, Ajax, Dynamo Kyiv, Napoli and Olympiakos - to fail in qualifiers for us to move up to Pot 3.}

So guys hypothetical question, if an average EPL player from Bournemouth or WBA for eg hit 2 stunning free kicks within mins of each other against the mighty Engerlund how much would he be worth?

Infinity million pounds, just like the rest of them. It's the best league in the-zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Agree3 Disagree2

11 Jun 2017 09:25:01
About £40 million - if he had done absolutely nothing in his career beforehand! But, being someone who plays in Scotland, he is simply referred to as "their fella" by the mightily thick english captain and will probably not be mentioned again down south. Instead of course, all the plaudits go to kane as though poking one in from inside the six yard box is more of an achievement.
Bitter? Damn right.

Can you imagine the panty wetting frenzy there would have been had it been Beckham in his playing days from the English media.

I thought Griffiths was outstanding yesterday, Tireless work as the lone striker. Held the ball up well and covered every inch of the park. 2 stunning strikes that should have won the game only let down by poor decision making and defending at the end.

Agree1 Disagree2

11 Jun 2017 11:20:52
LG was very good yesterday, thought armstrong giving the ball to them when all he had to do was go to the corner cost the scots the game plus gorden probably should have done better at both goals.

Agree2 Disagree2

11 Jun 2017 15:45:58
15 million. That will be laughed at by some. But WE name our price for players now and don't have to sell at the first decent offer.

Agree0 Disagree1

11 Jun 2017 17:03:20
The way Griffith's played just emphasise how bad a manager WGS really is, he kept persisting in playing Fletcher time after time, even though Griffith's was banging them in, coming out with statements like he wasn't tall enough,

Agree0 Disagree1

11 Jun 2017 18:32:46
Certainly several million. Griffiths has his limitations as a focal point in a 4231,but despite this, and mostly feeding off scraps yesterday he demonstrated both the main qualities that keeps me liking him. 1; Despite his limitations, he will never let his opponents have an easy ride and will run in behind all day. 2; and I don't say this lightly, Leigh Griffiths has one of the best left foots around, and can score from anywhere.

Agree1 Disagree0

11 Jun 2017 23:45:07
Long overdue start for LG and as far as his value he played against Premiershite best defenders and done great, for a wee fella! If he was called Leenaldo with his strikes it would be £50M easy to Chelsiki.

Really pleased for him.

Still gutted we could just hit row z at the end 😩.
