Whats happened to the supposed two signings we were making ed? have they fell through or are they just on the back burner due to the CL tie?

Rodgers said he would find out by last wednesday about the two signings so it looks like we have had no joy. No panic just now but its still early doors in the window, i've still got a theory that Rodgers won't be told his full budget until after we qualify for the CL and as i said the other week maybe that's what Rodgers is waiting on, the chance to go for a better class of player with the extra revenue he would get with CL qualification.

Have they signed new deals or are they?

Surely JF can't play tomorrow night as a trialist but can't see where he has signed a new deal?

A hear Mulgrew carrying a knock but is he playing his ticket or off mate? (y)

{Ed007's Note - Mulgrew's out of contract so he's not a Celtic player, Aberdeen are interested in resigning him. I've no idea what's happening with Forrests contract but if he's still under contract it's got another year to run, all this talk of contracts running out in December is bollocks and only ever seems to get mentioned for Celtic players.}

I'm sure Brendan mentioned himself that Forrests contract runs to December ED. i for one hope we get rid of him ASAP! He's done absolutely nothing to warrant a new contract! More deadwood that needs to be shipped out!

{Ed007's Note - Go and find me any other player from the UK, France, Italy, Germany etc, any league that runs from summer to summer whose contract expires in December. Or try and find any player that signed for clubs in a January window who didn't sign a contract for X and a half year.
When has any player ever been a free agent in a January window because their contract expired, when have you ever heard of a Bosman move during the January window?}

Ok Ed, There been nothing about a new deal for JF that site you redirect us to sometimes showing he is effectively out of contract

Under RD we know he was refusing to sign a new deal mate it just seems strange to me

Also Mulgrew was saying he was to get offered a new deal so that has petered out too? just seems very quiet on both players now (y)

{Ed007's Note - Everywhere was reporting that Forrest would be leaving this summer after rejecting a new deal and there was no mention of us getting a fee for him, even in interviews with RD.

"Of course we want to keep our best players. It's not like now nothing is going to happen, you never know in football but he’s rejected it and now we have to take that forward and we know that he has one year left on his contract."

I think if anything was going to happen with Mulgrew it already would have by now.}

Seriously though, there are a few exceptions. If you can jump the extra few inches, read the game well and position your body correctly, you don't need height. It's this kids tenacity when winning the ball, pace and actual ability ability on the ball taking it forward that is so great. He's 'total football'.

Can't see this. I couldn't see Dembele either but the difference here is St. Juste won't be leaving on a free/ compo. And we genuinely couldn't pay what he'll go for.

Aye bhoy wonder but he had a 10ft hairy monster as a df partner not to mention his shiny sword. know what your saying jim Tim but they where the exceptions. stanton wasn't the tallest either and he was a great player I see he can also play Def mid maybe br thinks we don't have enough mids.
