I've made my feeling clear on this new national team direction.
I have a fantastic wager attached to this line-up. My mates coupon with a minimal out lay has naismith scoring 3. His winnings equate to a treble of premium malt at a bar not far from me. His outlay matches the price of cheap cheap curry packet noodles. He wins my larder is depleted. I was looking forward to those noodles.

Don't know why you guys put yourselves through this? I can appreciate being patriotic and proud of your heritage and lineage etc and being Scottish is something to be proud of in most situations; but when it comes to football:- Celtic, it's players and supporters have always been a source of contempt to some and are seen as an inconvenience to the National establishment in all it's guises.

I find this post baffling as I’ve many rangers pals on Facebook and they are saying the same thing about rangers players and the treatment they are receiving from the Scotland fans? I didn’t watch the last two games as international football doesn’t really do it for me and hasn’t for years but a certain Ryan jack taking pelters and some saying the mighty greegsy retaking abuse? So is it just Hibs hearts and the sheep that go to Scotland games now?

It just seem Celtic fans think there’s something against Celtic players from big ebt eck and the fans but rangers fans feel the exact same thing that’s what baffles me none of the above comments? It’s like the daily ranger or daily rebel aka daily record scenario?

I think he would be a great addition. I think he would play well as part of a 2 up top, similar to the way Giroud plays for France. Obviously not the same quality but could do a turn up here.

Think that's maybe a bit unfair mate, Cole was well over the hill and was never that good to begin with. Agbonlahor has been a pretty consistent performer for Villa over the years and still has a few miles left, I'd say.
I can see the point of him not having a pre season but as pointed out, we've got Griff and French Eddy fit right now which would give him time to get up to speed. If BR could get a season half as good as SS's first season, I'd have him in a heartbeat.

The season before he signed he played 32 games for West ham scoring 3 goals.
Season before that it was 30 games and 6 goals
Gabby is 32 next month
Last season he played 6 and scored 1.
Season befor that he played 14 and scored 1
Cole has 86 goals in 397
Gabby has 86 goals in 401
Cole 8 caps
Gabby 3.
So like I said he's not any better than cole.

For someone who was talked up so much as a kid he didn't amount to much did he? From what I remember he was rapid but that was about it, let the people sign dross like that, we can and should do much better.

I thought Robbie Keane was the fittest and best player on the pitch .
I wouldn't count Agbonalhor out solely, on being a stone over weight, a month proper training would look after that.

Kev there is usually a good reason why a player hasn't got a club in the 2nd week of September .
I think he is typical of many English footballers who think no matter how far past their best they ware ' they can still do a job in Scotland . Funny enough most of them fail.
