What 2 players would you like to see Celtic sign. I'd love to see us sign James Maclean and James McCarthy. Think these 2 would be happy to see out the rest of their careers at Celtic Park. What a pair to have in the team when we seal 10 in a row. Both would excel under BR and playing for the club they support.

Think were covered in both areas lads, and unless mccarthy runs out his contract he will never be our player, mclean would be possible but would rather use the money it would cost to keep paddy.

I agree with BW in that I could only see McCarthy signing on a free, and once Armstrong leaves. I also agree with Kev in that I'd rather have Sinclair and Paddy over McClean.

Surely Maclean over Hayes? McCarthys Everton career is over a loan deal with a view to permanent deal would be possible. At the end of the day he will decide where he wants to play and he's made no secret of the fact he would love to sign. Think both would be great additions for the long term.

My worry with McCarthy is that he has had some big injury concerns the last few years.
As for McLean he would be another Neil Lennon who would need security with him everywhere he goes plus it would be a lot of money to pay for a guy who would probably only be back up to Sinclair.

I don't think McLean or Mccarthy would improve the team or squad at all, other than numerically. I also think that if McLean wasn't so forthcoming with his pro-Irish views, we wouldn't really know anything about him as he is such an ordinary player.

Bhoys, i am not being a fanny. i understand its his country's colours and its a bet. But! I would rather play for Celtic with my hair and eyebrows shaved off. just saying. Just my opinion its obviously here for use to agree or disagree π€.

{Ed007's Note - I wish I was bald, Peter, getting haircuts is one the most boring waste of time in life. My dad's hair started thinning in his 40s but he never actually went bald even with the cancer treatment and stuff and my hair's like wire so I doubt I'll go bald either - you just can't catch a break sometimes :)
