Try at least double that! Celtic paid over 2 million quid for him, they aint going to let him go for next to no profit! Every club needs cash, Celtic are not that desperate! Plus Forster is Newcastle's player anyway.

The old firm worst average attendances in a season in the last 40 years.
18, 390 for celtic in 1983-84
16, 400 for rangers in 1981-82
but like sickbhoy says it had nothing to do with football. in the 80's alot of men lost their jobs, then you had the miners strike in 1984-85 and in the late 80's the miners lost their jobs.

Just a questions for Jamie Mac and the rest of the nuggets who think Samaras on a 4 yrs contract would be a good idea. Where do you get your drugs? Honestly could be doing with some for tonight, might make it a bit better to watch. Big Sam who has played mmmmmm 2-3 good games in his life time. He's carp. I hate Kyle Lafferty but ah think he is twice the player than George ''need ma hair cut'' Samaras.

Sickbhoy, was responding to Jamie Macs implication that somehow Celtic fans are more loyal than Rangers fans. Not all Celtic fans are loyal just as not all Rangers fans are! I have no question about your loyalty.

To Taxman and Jamie Mac, so i guess you where two of the few fans who went to Parkhead during the barren years in the 80s/ 90s? What was the average gate? About 12,000 or so! Obviously not all Celtic fans "follow" your philosophy!
I was at the stairs in the p***ing rain that March night when Brian Dempsey came out and said "The war is over, the rebels have won". Spent a horrible season at Hampden before returning home to what became one of the top stadiums in the world. But aren't people who don't go to games still entitled to an opinion? Its not cheap to go to football and alot of men lost their season ticket money when they lost their jobs. Would you rather feed your family or go to a football match? I shouldn't even have to ask that.

Having read a few posts re who you dislike the most on the opposite side of the fence I am posting on both sites the question - Who in our current squads do you dislike the most from your own team!
Personally I would never have brought Diouf to Ibrox - People who spit at someone is scum and always will be.
I also loose a little bit of confidence when I see Lafferty in the line up and want to slap him when you see him prancing about in flashy cars!
A family member who is a Celtic fan hates Samaras with a deep passion and thinks he is a lazy bassa!

Well Billyboy it would appear that you are solely interested in the "Glory" of your club with the references to titles etc. You must really be hurting recently what with all the comprehensive defeats suffered at the hands of timmy. If you want totalk in recent times we have won 3 0f the last 5 soon to be 4 of the last 6 with a minimum of a double.
My point is that every time I see my scarf i smile (love it) and that is regardless of success. I am a celtic supporter faithful through and through. To those who understand no explanation is neccessary, to those who don't understand no explanation is possible.

F Samaras gets his 4 yr deal it just means that you will need to wait another 3 yrs before he returns to form . . . hmmm last year of his contract . . no other bigger offers comin in? yeah ill sign a new contract here now, that's the loyalty that will convince the celtic that im here "for the cause"
