is the croatian keeper out in australia with the bhoys?

Believable1 Unbelievable2

The word is that he is coming to Glasgow as the team will be home just before the weekend so would make sense.

We also have coaching staff and players still at Lennoxtown getting their fitness up.
So he would most likely work with them and I'd imagine that Lenny will have the final say once he gets back.

hi ed hows it going? folks a stated a few days ago that we would come out and mention gordon to the tabloids that we would like to sigh him, he is a very good keeper and with zaluska as back up it could be a very strong last line of defence, if you s if notice lenny has huge respect for and signs a lot of brittish and irish players he is not a massive on foreigners, so we wont sign a foreign keeper. as for hoopers strike partner we have been linked with every big name bellamy, keane, bothroyd, start thinking more of undiscovered talent like hooper, kayal, izzaguire, as we can pick these guys up for decent money, i would expect lenny to go after a championship striker or even a league 1 striker with the only other possability of a striker for epl being on loan and the player not being that big a name.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Boruc was a foreign keeper and he was the best we've had between the sticks in my lifetime. lennon has a croation goalkeeper training with us next week and a very good one at that. i think pletikosa would be a great signing.

Also looks likely Juarez will be at Celtic another season good news really the guys has quality and will oust Brown out the team whenever he gets injured or suspended.
Lennons Lions

Believable4 Unbelievable2

Really glad to see him get a chance as i think he could do a job

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah think Juarez could still be a good player for us.. random point liked the way he celebrated our goals when on the bench last season. CM

This is what our new Victor Wanyama had to say after signing for The Celts ....

"I am delighted to sign for Celtic Football Club, " he told the club's official website.

"With the formalities now out of the way, I can look forward to meeting up with my new team-mates and manager on their return from Australia.

"It has always been a dream of mine to play for a club like Celtic.

"After reading the club's incredible history I have chosen 67 as my squad number to show appreciation to the 1967 squad.

"My ambition at Celtic is to win many trophies like the Lisbon Lions."

Billy Mehmet is available on a free transfer after he asked to terminate his contract with Turkish Super Lig side Samsunspor.

He has been linked with teams in Germany and in the A-League, but he would prefer a move back to the UK.

Would he be a decent signing for us ?

Believable1 Unbelievable6

Defo the "type" of striker we should be after - strong, target man, decent finisher. IMO he was always a standout for St. Mirren, but not sure he's Celtic quality. On a free though he might be worth a gamble if we come up short in the striker market and lose a couple up front.

Agree0 Disagree0

Are u all having a laugh? billy mehmet? he is not fit to wear the hoops but then again neither is samaras but thats besides the point. billy mehmet doesnt have, never had and never will have the ability to be celtic class

Agree0 Disagree0

Billy Mehmet am i reading correctly? I smell a Rangers fan on the wind up

Sally mccoist made a gr8 start to his person career 0 out of 2 games long may it last.. IN LENNON WE TRUST

Believable4 Unbelievable1

So is this what they call desperation? Claiming friendlies as real matches? Suppose thats what 3 year without the title does to you

Agree0 Disagree0

Funny that Rangers fans seem to count our first match - an unlucky defeat - as being worthy of taking the pash.

Personally I don't really see the first few pre-season friendlies as being important, but what I can't be bothered with is hypocritical knuckle draggers like you with your double standards.

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh behave urself rangers are s, , , e and still won the league for the last 3yrs in Lennon ul fail ya dafty steph :)

Agree0 Disagree0

How quick the tide turns when we lost in Oz it's all you could read on Rangers forums and now you've lost two games to absolute amateurs "its only a friendly" mahahaha TopDhog

lennon has not ruled out a move for robbie keane redknapp looking to offload players and Keane already stated he would take a wage cut, what do you think ed keane or bellamy who would you prefer ? {Ed001's Note - personally I think both are more trouble off the pitch than the value they give on the pitch. Though Keane is not a player I would touch with a bargepole right now, there are very good reasons he is not getting a look in at Spurs.}

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Aye, the reasons are he is shecht {Ed001's Note - actually the reasons are related to his off field life.}

Agree0 Disagree0

What trouble has robbie keane ever caused off the pitch ed? explain that statement please. robbie keane was a sensation when he was here, has been a top striker in the premeirship for years as well as international level, we dont have any of these and havent had for a long time. he would run a mock in scotland for another 2 or 3 years easy. ed i have to admit i think this is the worst statement uve ever come out with especially with nothing to back it up. robbie keane is never in the press for the wrong reasons {Ed001's Note - yes I know he is never in the press, there is a reason for that, I cannot say anything more for legal reasons sorry.}
