Afternoon Ed, A couple of topics here for your attention to go back to the Tonev situation without going down the route of guilty or not guilty today folks do you think the SFA "stalled/took time out" to consider there decision on the grounds that THEY are seeking advice? given the fact we said beforehand we would take it to CaS etc or take it further it smacks to me that the SFA are looking THEMSELVES for guidance?

Secondly, as we look toward our opponents in the next round of the Europa league a would say that given where we are in the draw there is a decent chance that we get a "battle of Britain" in drawing either Spurs, Everton or Liverpool and was wondering what you, 001 (in particular Celtic v Liverpool)and other's thought of drawing them or Legia Warsaw given what has recently happened by my calculations there is a 1 in 4 chance of it occurring

{Ed007's Note - I think the decision with Tonev will be upheld and announced just in time for him to go back to Aston Villa then out on loan to someone else in January.
I wouldn't mind meeting Everton in the EL but we'd give any the English teams a tough couple of matches.}

Cheers Ed, as long as Pedro has a wee word and we manage to avoid LW a will be happy there was just to much bad blood at there end and it went into silly season stuff!

{Ed007's Note - I wouldn't like to think of our fans travelling over there for the away leg, keep the visit for the final. :)

Lmfao mate, can you imagine that panning out as the final!?

Even Pedro would need "fitted-oot" for a gum shield! :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

If Tonev's ban is upheld, would the ban have to be served in any league?.
If it is I couldn't see any other club taking him on loan if he couldn't play for seven matches.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Aston Villa have 7 matches between 20th December and 31st January - four matches in January alone - and with the window extended until February 2nd there is plenty of time to get another loan. If a team wanted him I doubt they'd bother too much if he is going to miss 1 or 2 games, a loan back to Bulgaria might be his best option, get him away from the spotlight. Innocent or guilty the lad is going to get grief and the whole incident will be getting spoke about for weeks.}

That is a great point Gerry and a great retort Ed so good it has the whiff of 002 being involved lol blow her a big kiss for me & tell her a still wuv her will you :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Nope, all my own work :)

Hi ed heard the other day from a Rangers fan whom I have known for years that Rangers had spoke to Stuart McCall regarding the managers job at ibrox. He said if McCall resigned they wouldn't have to pay compensation (or couldn't afford to )to Motherwell and that terry butcher would join him, with butcher withdrawn his interest today do you think it's a possibility I know you probably couldn't give a s--t I was just curious and wouldn't be surprised as that's the sleekit way they do business.killy.

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought it quite interesting butcher withdrawing interest from the Motherwell position. I bet super swally does to. Of our next opponents, I would prefer Liverpool to Everton, it would be seen as a bigger game I think, and also I fancy our chances more against Liverpool than Everyon. Sorry Edd. Markie

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - you would batter us at the moment, Everton would be slightly trickier as they are extremely inconsistent, like the Wigan Martinez is turning them into. You might catch Everton on a day when they fold or otherwise they could be on fire and score a hatful. Liverpool would be the easier draw right now.}

Just wanted to clear up some confusion. Celtic can't draw Liverpool on Friday as we can only get the 4 best runners up in the CL.

With regards to Tonev, the noise coming from Celtic Park is that Tonev will be cleared and his ban uplifted.

Ed any news on the 15 year old Martin odegaard? Seen a video clip of him and even though he is only 15 he looks like he would break into our first team right away. Boy is a real talent, hope t God we get him

Believable2 Unbelievable0

{Ed001's Note - he is still dealing with offers at the moment. Looking at different clubs and seeing what they offer in terms of coaching and playing time. There will be no way of anyone knowing who he will choose as it will come down to his personal choice. We can all speculate, but at the end of the day that will be all it is now until he makes his decision. Unless anyone is a mind reader of course, in which case they will know.....}

I wouldn't be surprised if Ødegaard ends up in Celtic. He won't go to a club where he ends up playing for the youthteam. So Celtic would be a safe choice for him, knowing Deila like a father and it would be a great choice.

Agree2 Disagree0

Hi Norwegianred nice to know people think that way too! Although with the greatest of respect that league is not the strongest there is not many teams worldwide that unleash a 15 yr old @ first team level so the lad must have something atb jb7

I hope the reason we showed little or no interest in gauld (who is possibly a direct comparison) is rd knew he was in with a chance of landing this boy

It will be interesting to see where he chooses to go as he has a lot of options. I'm also curious to see what the transfer fee will be.

Even if he does come to Celtic, I think the fans need to manage their own expectations and remember he has only just turned 16 and that he needs time to adjust to new style and new country.

Jamiebhoy no doubt, but Ødegaard won't go for Real Madrid cause their Real Madrid. He will find the club that will nurish his skills. Maybe he'll be there for one or two seasons, before he goes further on. I would rather have him playing for your first team than playing a season or two at Real Madrids youthsetup. Cause there he will just be a talent out of many. In Celtic he can improve in maybe not the best league but a league he can excell and with a coach he clearly knows and loves. :)

Hi all fellow bhoys and ghirls just a wee question what would be a got result against the zombies at hampden any kind of win or a win by at least 5 goals or more a really think that we will put at least 10 goals past a team this season and am.starting to believe it may be against that mob across the road a hope it is the case hail hail

Believable6 Unbelievable0

A win would do me . I just hope that there will not much trouble of the pitch or on it and the ref is strong but I think I will be asking for to much

I hope we don't have to play them. I hope they don't exist by then. Save a lot of trouble in glasgow. Fed up hearing bout their moans and groans now. Just put them down

Agree2 Disagree0

I just hope we win, but I would like it to be convincing enough that they can't complain about bad decisions, poor refereeing, etc.

Agree0 Disagree0

Would be better if we didn't have to play them . I cannot see us getting any sort of fair play from referee or his assistants, so we will have to be prepared to take their crude tackles and elbows and still dominate them .

Agree1 Disagree0

I also wish we didn't need to play them. It's a no lose for them as far as I see, extra money they really need, if they get beat it will be expected so no prob, if they win it will be like they have won the World Cup. Add the potential crowd trouble, domestic abuse soaring, and maculloch out to end as many celtic players careers as he can then you can see why I'm not looking forward to it. Be happy to never have to see or hear that bile ever again. Markie

Agree1 Disagree4

Yeah markie I'm with you on that wishing we never had to meet them for the first time.I posted a while back on this and hope that Celtic can move on out of this toxic football environment into some form of European league.

Agree1 Disagree1

I personally do not want any more to do with them. There is nothing but trouble when the clubs meet and sadly, it brings out the worst in some of our own supporters who sink to their level. The media will have a field day and I have no doubt they will get plenty to feed on.
Hopefully admin 2 takes care of that problem.
Ed, just a question on that. If the undead were to go back into admin would they be allowed to continue playing?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - yes.}
