Decided to go to the Partick Thistle vs Morton for my football fix tonight and was amazed at the turnout. Just under 9,000 at Firhill tonight, the game was delayed by 20 minutes to get everyone in! Was in the Partick end behind the goal and the atmosphere was brilliant. The fans are out there, just wish fans would show up for every game and not the first important league game in 10 years.

Prices were maybe a wee bit steep, £19 for adults, £12 for 16-21 & OAPs and free for the kids (can't complain there. )

Definitely not worth it for the standard, seen better Sunday league games. Constant long balls onto centre halves heads and aimless diagonals as well as slicing the ball out of play.

Whichever one of these teams come up they will be lucky to get 20/25 points, both very toothless and one-dimensional.

I heard on both tv and radio tonight (SLY SPORTS AND SSB)that the police have visited businesses and private homes in both Scotland and England in regard to the rangers buy out fiasco. I wonder if SDM, CG or Agent Whyte got a 5. 30 am visit and were given the same treatment as the green brigade, somehow I doubt it.

Almost 9000 at the Thistle game tonight. This proves that if the competition is there people will turn out for games. I think the reconstruction would have provided this. Yes, some things were a gamble, but with the current trends in football it was worth taking. The split into eight would mean pretty much all clubs would be involved in meaningful fixtures from day one. The division down was the same, more teams with a chance to go up, and the added bonus of a better drip feed of money. Because it did not work in Switzerland or Austria does not mean it would not work here. These dissenters need to look at tonight's crowd and think long and hard. green jhedi

we are debt free, we have I think about £25m cl money coming in the summer, around £20m season book sales due. a new shirt sponsor, better tv money, more prize money. we wl probably pull in another £20m transfer money. the future looks ok especially when you look at the men who run our club. scroll back our pages and you won't find any more than about 5 maybe six targets people would like to see in the hoops next season, and 2/3 of them iv'e never heard of.

now in contrast look at the rangers pages, without scrolling back, in about the first dozen posts they have identified about 14/15 players. one guy wants nine, that would add about a quarter a million £s a month to their wage bill . they already lose £1m a month. season books are about £12m next year, poor mans shirt sponsor. next to nil in prize money. court cases building by the day, they don't know who owns the club, they don't know who owns the assets. they don't know what league they will be in. they have a ceo that lies every time his mouth is open. a managers who will say anything he's told to placate the knuckle draggers.

where does this positive attitude come from. where do they get this mentality. how on earth does the fact that they might be absolutely f***** escape them and allow them to identify signing targets.

that my friends is the difference between them and us,, if we were all on the titanic, we would head for the lifeboats. they would be saying, f***** brilliant the bar had run out of ice. shammy

Very sparse crowd at ibrox tonight. Fee for linfield, Police and stewards cost and the utilities and it seems no money will be made. Oh and the tax, nearly forgot that!. green jhedi

i think it is an absolute disgrace. tonight the two most successful teams in world football history are playing each other. why is this game not on the telly. between them they would have had a global audience of over 10 million. tfic. shammy

I see Sir Nosurname following the party line on TV ahead of their sash bash tonight. " Charles is new here. Eh. There have been some statements that may have been brushed over if we were in a bigger country. But here they are taken and publicised everywhere ". What might they be?. A racist statement about a colleague. A blatant lie of a statement about Manchester United backing them for the EPL?. Every statement the man makes is music to the ears of any journalist worth his salt. I think it's time for Sir Nosurname to crawl back into his bunker before things get really ugly. DH

Hampden on Sunday!

I think Celtic need to put on the performance of the season and no defence slip-ups.

Last decent performances for me were Scottish Cup Final v Motherwell 3-0 and League Cup Semi-final v Aberdeen 4-1 so it can be done and there is definitely no hoodoo.

I do not want to see another lazy, complacent performance this season and especially not on Sunday.

Would like to have seen Scott Brown and James Forrest back but I know that's not happening.

Not sure if Johnny Russell will be back but Dundee Utd will be on a high after their last minute goal last weekend and securing a top 6 place.

i be very wary of celebrating their demise just yet strange how they are now turning on cg looks like the msm are being drip fed info suggest to me someone in the background pulling the strings even sneaky ally having a pop at cg moves afoot me thinks as the scam reaches its climax beleive the sfa are relectant to act reference break of conditions in licence there would be riots if licence was removed they be hoping to get to end of season before taking action
