Been saying it for weeks guys Patterson is the man we should be after.
1m to Newcastle u23's come on and were stuck with janko.
To many passengers hiding when it matters and class told Sinclair and toure only ones with composure in pressure games away from home. Shape was shocking, no organisational skills from brown our captain when you need it most. Dissapointed but hopefully figures on high see we need more than one in. HH lads.

I've been saying the same thing.
I've been fortunate enough to see him play quite a lot as I have a group of friends with season tickets at Hearts, and at least one can't go every home game.
Paterson is everything we need in a right back!
Over 150 games for them now. Started at a young age and still only 21.
Very strong, pace down the wing, loves going forward, and unbelievable in the air.
Not forgetting the goals he scores or assists.
Someone posted something about him the other day saying that he has more assists than their wingers or midfielders. Lol
He is an outstanding talent who could only improve with our coaching and facilities, and if Hearts have slapped a 1m price on him, I'm sure £750k would buy him.

Afternoon all, ED.
Well it's been an exciting day to say the least on here. Ed see you've your hands full again, some valid (intelligent) points, (ye should have said from a guy fae the Hamilton mad squad but unfortunately that would've been lost in translation mate ;-D) anywayz your right it definitely is and goes a lot deeper than people know or care to believe. I. E boardroom double standards etc. I had guys at my work throwing the toys out the pram today over this again after reading out some comments from earlier. Which again showed the divide in us which I find completely bonkers! Drove me insane today with a few of them due slapped for their complete lack of knowledge while jumping in. Crazy.
Iam not going back over the past or indulging in others views we could be here all day. There is genuine passion for our club then there is others who don't know there arse from elbow and just jump on the band wagon. That's a fact we all live with, wether we care to admit it or not.
Everyone should be concentrating on wed night, and showing support for the players to qualify and to take us forward, lads we should give this a by now for everyone's sake cause it won't change a thing BTW!

Great result lads edge of the seat stuff, slowly getting our buzz back to where it belongs, but it's only 1 game and we didn't play that great, tho we do have plenty to keep positive about. So let's trust the manager. What about the cheeky hearts fan having a swing at Sinclair after the he ran behind goal after scoring! lol get it round them. Anyway.
Ed or anyone what's your thoughts on Patterson from hearts do u think he's good enough for us? Personally think he's a great player solid as a rock, and we should be snapping him up at a snip. Like the fact Rodgers is buying British lads! Last time we had a manager that done that looked what happened folks.

Yes I mean British based lads, it's just getting that balance of homegrown, British based and foreign players right, we were superb before with that British style mentality so why not hope for the same. I can't wait. Although time will tell if we can play that way again consistently while adapting to these formation changes.
Great u mention Toure as it was just a breath of fresh air to watch him play against hearts. Even though he's past his prime class tells. His positioning is outstanding and he reads a game really well, anyone who's played will tell you that is just priceless and he'll be a huge asset to us. Onwards n upwards bhoys. HH.

Just having a laugh stew lol. totally agree with the buying of British players and British based! Been impressed with big toure since he came in! Makes defending look simple! Pity we couldn't have got him a few years ago! But I think he's still got at least 2 good seasons left in him yet! And our young centre halfs can only benefit from a guy like him!

I must say I owe B R and Toure an apology as I wasn't sure Toure would be in any way fit and ready for European qualifying or indeed the rough and tumbe of SPFL football. I noticed yesterday early in the match at set pieces he was shouting out orders to the rest of the defenders . In the 2nd half Brown was geeing them up as well.
Toure took up position where the corner was likely to come in and he cleared a good few.

All good beav lol johnny the boy would just get better in our team playing with better players he's one of those players who's always stuck out whenever ave seen him. Plenty of potential in this lad and he's scottish!
Rare thing (a classy scottish defender :-D) cause a believe they can be, and if we could go with two flying scottish wingbacks in KT and Patterson al take that.
Anyone think the same? ED lol

Ed, doing some job mate keeping up with all these posts. Great to be back.
Just a quick post on the TV rights and wondered if u can shed some of your opinions on this.
Firstly for some of us who are unwell too travel through to paradise to see the game, we rely on TV to watch such an important match. Now I understand this doesn't apply to all or maybe some of the good folks on here feel the same.
But I pay for sky TV full package plus BT subscription plus premier sports subscription. It just goes on, now were being asked to subscribe to Celtic TV now to watch the match? I know it's possible to watch it online through streaming but quality is just not the same. Sorry if Iam sounding like an old git but feel frustrated at the lack of proper use of TV rights and where the hell it ends for the fans. Would love to know your thoughts ED and anyone else's.

Cancel all those rip off subscriptions and jump aboard the KODI bus, I bought an android box and have never looked back but you can also run it through your laptop/tablet and connect the device to your TV, but that's you stumped if you want to use them while watching the game.

Cheers ED for the swift reply, I've been told before about getting rid of it all for something equivalent.
I've a friend who can do some magic with a certain (nameless) fire stick and save on all subscriptions as it's just daylight robbery. Something Iam now going to change so thanks very much my friend for the advice I WILL be jumping onboard kodi, and have a look through the posts u suggest cause it's getting beyond a joke this.
The confusion from my mates is the same feel let down and ripped off. Does beg the question tho ED is this a ploy to get more subscribed viewers for our own TV channel or another crazy mishap by the people above? As I found it crazy too going onto 365 to do my bets for tonight every champ league game is covered on TV by them bar Celtic?

Not to sure on this one mate, he was the best player on the park for them on sat saw it they won 5-0 he strolled it doubt theyl let him go. Plus doubt there manager would sell to us ;-D.

You know something guys Iam fed up listening to all this political talk. A don't know about anyone else.
Think we can all agree everyone has an opinion on this subject and depending on where your from your view may differ slightly. Common sense will tell us so. (Hopefully ED)
Flags, fascism, racism, oppressed, poor, bigots, etc etc all strong words that sounds like my childhood growing up in the south side of glesga in the 70's and 80's. (Lived it, fought it, delt with it, moved on from it! ) I love my club to the core it's been my heart and soul for the last 40 odd yrs.
Basically my point is simple, we all have opinions, we all have a background that we can all relate and affiliate too in one way or another that we can all agree on 100% undisputed.
But no one person or movement is bigger than our club that I can assure u off! Iam just fed of this politics p*** even the word just spells lies to me. Think we've had our fair share recently so can the football please break out! We shouldn't be arguing over this at all. If the club is asking us not to do it for this 1 game then don't do it. Don't know about anyone else but if a was band from paradise for the sake of a flag, al be mightly pis*** off!
Over this weekend I've watched fellow hoops friends argue and fallout over this, guys walkout at work, and now read a lot of bickering on here, come on guys.
Meanwhile over at castle greyskull their loving it and just itchin for us mess up on wed so them and the rest can laugh some more while we get punished (fine or closed doors) and bicker some more like sweetie wife's about whether it was right or wrong or moral or not.
Stuffs depressing talking about, would rather be 9-15 clear by oct and Pmsl at them. But now Iam off to work too hear it all again. can see someone getting malkied the day ED ;-) HH.
