Some reports saying we might be interested in signing Omar ElabÂdelÂlaoui from Olympiakos.
We were linked in January, so who knows?
Between him or Gumny, if we sign either it will (hopefully) resolve our RB issue.
We all seem to want Melling, murmurs that the deal is close but I’ve yet to see any confirmation from the club.
On a side note: would be strange to have 3 Norwegian defenders in our starting lineup if Omar and Melling were to sign!

I don’t see an RB problem. Elhamed looks class so far.
Few mistakes, but so have the rest of the squad.
Desperately need a LB and a CH even if julien comes food. I can see ajer or jozo going in this window.

El hamed isn’t the problem mate, it’s the lack of cover if anything happens that’s the problem! No cover for right back no cover for left back! Severely lacking at left wing, Morgan ain’t near good enough and Johnston cannot be counted on to play 50 games a season! Big problems not just at the back for me, it’s all over! I also think we could do with a defensive midfielder brought in!

Agree with everything above here really!
I like the look of Elhamed so far myself.
And I’m still hopeful the other lads come good, but if anything we need the cover and tbh I thought Elhamed was going to be that guy. Maybe more of our utility defender.
I’m guessing we won’t know if we get either of the Norwegian lads until after their CL fate is decided.
But what a baptism of fire they could have if they played at ibrokes 😳.

Would be out of character for Celtic but was looking at some free agents currently available (correct me if any have found new clubs)

Igpersono Abate - FB - (32)
Wilfred Bony - ST - (30)
Theres more I could add tbf but it’s more for a hypothetical really.
We need experience, and these would all be players to help strengthen areas of the team.
Again, it’s highly unlikely but interesting to see who’s available.
Would absolutely love Wanyama for a year loan too.
Would be a rock in our midfield again and would absolutely boss it.

Fantastic performance and result, taking off Forrest who was ineffectual for Ntcham proved to be pivotal for that second goal!
Super happy for Hayes who’s been dying for his first goal and what a way to get it!

He’s went for what looks a fairly attacking team, the buns have went for what looks like quite a packed defensive midfield.
Interesting to see if Bayo or Teacake will come on today though!

Fair play to all the decent honest rangers supporters out there calling him out, but there is still a huge number of them that lapped it up when Kent hooked him and plenty of rangers pages/ sites that you’d regularly see vitriol aimed towards him.
Most of them literally hate him right down to their core.
Sad what a game of football can do to a man.

My only issue/ s with the Taylor signing is we should of signed him before or as soon as we knew KT was off.
We messed around too long with it for one reason or another and Killie held us to ransom and got top dollar for their man, so fair play to them!
If we were seriously interested in Meling, then to me it’s underwhelming in that respect.
The lad very much had the ability, with plenty of European experience.
All that being said, he’s signed now and I really hope he comes good with us.
Great potential and great competition for Boli

It’s all hypotheticals and conjecture of course.
We could pay the fee and he’d be in the highest earning bracket naturally.
We did push the boat out with Robbie Keane and were allegedly paying him what? 65k a week wasn’t it? Not sure why people think this couldn’t ever happen, it’s very unlikely but never say never as they say.
