2 match ban for MacLean for the vicious grip of Kouassi's Haw Maws.

One match per Haw Maw.

Size did nae come into it.

Grey Heid Bhoy

1.) 31 Oct 2018 18:25:29
GHB seemingly it was a half game ban for the left and one and a half game ban for the right.

2.) 31 Oct 2018 18:59:28
So a Hearts player gets a two match ban for deliberately assaulting a Celtic player but a Sevco-Rangers goalie gets nothing on video review for deliberately assaulting a Celtic player?

Why does the SFA do this?

It helps Sevco-Rangers catch Hearts and end the season in second spot.

3.) 31 Oct 2018 19:10:37
First ever two game ban for hawn-baw ha ha.

4.) 01 Nov 2018 06:11:29
Apparently there's a new compliance officer so maybe that's got somethi g to do with it.

5.) 01 Nov 2018 15:41:56
It was a deliberate hand ball and stopped kouassi having a scoring opportunity on Sunday night when out on the town 😂😂.

Dermot Desmond €2,400million
John Magnier €2,300million
JP McManus €2,100 million

Figures as at 2018.

There's quite a few more. I won't list them. How can Super high net worth individuals who love our club contribute?

They've all collaborated in business ventures before. They all love Celtic.

It's 20 years since the Bunnet left. Perhaps it's time for corporate restructuring and a different business model at the club? Collaborative shareholding's. You have to keep ahead of the times and up to date with FIFA and UEFA club developments. Ideas that were sound 20 years ago are superseded now.

Placing an endowment, say €200million each, in an escrow account to be drip fed into the club over the next fifty years would underpin the club's health, survival and dominance as a wonderful legacy.

Hearts have already delivered the "donation" precedent.

Of course, further receiving Will legacies into the fund from all and sundry would be a marvellous initiative to contribute to Celtic's dominance. Give your money to Celtic.

I've never understood why so many affluent, wealthy and high profile, Celtic 'fans' have never seriously invested in the club.
Obviously, there are many legal and administrative requirements that are above my head, but even when we were at the 11th hour in 1994, it was the relatively unknown Fergus McCann who stepped in and not one of the rich and famous faces who like to be associated with Celtic.

2.) 31 Oct 2018 16:24:49
The wealth accumulated by the above named would not have been possible had they invested in Celtic. To suggest they invest €200million is ludicrous they are astute business men who invest their money for a decent profit hence their wealth. As Celtic fans we love that type of investment but as long as we are playing in scotland that won’t happen . oldkilly.

3.) 31 Oct 2018 16:29:55
Because there business men first and foremost and won't make money out of Celtic.

4.) 31 Oct 2018 16:59:00
If we had three or four billionaires (Strictly fans) holding significant shares in Celtic Plc I would feel more comfortable.

There’s a major issue surrounding what happens when the largest shareholder sells up or retires or pops their clogs? Does the eldest Son take up the mantle? Does he support the club as passionately?

The recent helicopter accident at Leicester City FC was a terrible and sad incident, yet it now throws up large questions surrounding club security and what happens in the future? Will the family continue to support LC now Vichai has departed?

We must mitigate such risks with clearly understood long term legacy planning for generations. Perhaps this has indeed been thought through but not communicated to club stakeholders; fans, shareholders and employees.

Who will own the club in ten years? In 15 years? 20 years? How do we ensure it will survive and thrive the next 100 years?

5.) 31 Oct 2018 17:04:22
Maybe they're not as daft on celtic as us peasants. Their love of money outweighs their love of celtic. Personally I'd rather see them give their spare cash to the poor and try n put a dent in the ever growing financial gap between the rich and poor. I don't care how hard someone claims to work being a billionaire should not be legal.

6.) 31 Oct 2018 17:46:51
Grey Heid Bhoy I’m led to believe it’s Dermot Desmond’s sons who are Celtic mad and encourage their father to invest in the club and they will continue when he retires. Celtic have survived since 1888 and will continue to do so regardless of who is at the helm, why, because of who we are. oldkilly.

7.) 31 Oct 2018 18:21:37
I suggested the reasonable €200m each because I didn’t want them to go hungry.

If the plan is to keep the club a Desmond family heritage legacy, that needs to be formally communicated to us all. It’s important. And it raises the question, are we happy with that?

8.) 31 Oct 2018 19:10:20
His wealth is probably in some offshore account, him investing 200million euro would mean giving a large slice to the tax man which he doesn't want to do haha.

9.) 31 Oct 2018 19:26:05
Can’t take it with you.
Splash the cash billionaires.

10.) 31 Oct 2018 17:48:19
Even Rod Stewart is knighted and supposed to be worth £250million. I bet DK and the three Bears don’t have £250m.

However, their collaborative shareholding at Sevco makes the difference and allows continuity if one falls off the bandwagon.

Four billionaires having 15% each at Celtic, each with their man on the board delivers continuity over retirement/ death. It delivers new ideas, legacy planning, security, multiple cash sources, more contacts, and shares the love.

An escrow account fund with its own board of honest notables would accrue significant interest each year such that the original funds would not diminish.

We now live in an age of Red Bull’s, Vichai’s and Arabs and Abramovich’s fielding teams worth several hundred million.

We need to think differently and bigger to when the Bunnet walked away. It’s a much different world.

11.) 31 Oct 2018 21:24:39
I’d like to see the SFA take on a Celtic with four billionaire Owners with around €9,000 million behind them. Regarding their Judicial panels and breaking their own rules. And generally acting to the detriment of our club.

I think it's no coincidence at all that we had the warmest Scotland this summer since records began and Celtic couldn't get their mojo going.

They thought they were on winter break in Dubai. Lazy players.

Celtic are a cold weather club. KT trains barefoot in underpants throughout the winter. He takes his lead from Broony.

What's the betting young Arzani will be in wee black gloves when we see him?

30 Oct 2018 22:01:43
My team for tomorrow versus Dundee:

Gordon
Lustig, Boyatta, Benkovic, Izzy
Forrest, McGregor, Sinclair
Christie, Arzani
Edouard

I'd give KT a day off. I'd like to rest Lustig as well.

However, I think Brendan won't play Izzy. I think he will play Kouassi in CDM, benching McGregor for a rest and emergency stand by.

I think Eddy will get his goals.

I forecast a few subs and everyone joining the fun incl. Morgan.

BR frustrates me because he never does as I tell him, so I've started using reverse psychology to dupe him 😃
I might even post 12 guys and see if anyone even notices 😃.

Grey Heid Bhoy

1.) 30 Oct 2018 22:33:43
I hope Brendan is not tempted to go 3 at the back and put an extra man in midfield to compensate for no natural holding player after the st mirren shambles. The team look comfortable playing our normal system. I think the team picks itself due to depleted squad. Gordon
Lustig. Boyata Benkovic. Tierney
Christie. McGregor
Forrest. Rogic. Sinclair
Edouard.

2.) 30 Oct 2018 22:41:00
Gordon
Lustig
Ajer
Benkovic
Tierney
McGregor
Ntcham
Sinclair
Forest
Rogic
Eddy
Keep it consistent seem to be finding some form now so no need to change too much.

3.) 30 Oct 2018 23:19:40
This is how I think Rogers will play it:

Gordon
Lustig, Boyatta, Benkovic, KT
Forrest, Kouassi, Sinclair
Christie, Rogic
Edouard

Subs: Bain, Ajer, Hendry, McGregor, Ntcham, Morgan, Arzani

Easy game for the Kouassi project. Surrounded by top players. Fair do’s. Get his value up for summer selling.

Must play Christie from start for Sunday’s effort. It’s the right thing to do/ reward the lad.

Must play Sinclair, must play Rogic now back.

4.) 30 Oct 2018 23:32:24
I think Ntcham is out, with Kouassi also doubtful the only player who could play the holding role would be mcgregor. Also Christie would be playing deeper than his normal position but there is no one else with Brown Ntcham Biton Kouassi all injured. l don’t know what’s happened with Mulumbu, if he’s injured or if there's been a fall out because if fit he could slot in next to McGregor or be good for backup.

5.) 31 Oct 2018 00:17:24
I would give Ralston an opportunity👍.

6.) 31 Oct 2018 05:36:42
Mulumbu has had his big toe nail removed so that’s been keeping him out. If Ralston can’t get a game just now or in the squad he never will.

7.) 31 Oct 2018 09:41:06
Ralston is the only person keeping him out our squad. He needs to grow up very quickly or he's out of paradise.

8.) 31 Oct 2018 12:30:52
The team that finished on Sunday and played so well, would be fine for me; however Izzy would be a good shout to give KT a wee rest and maybe Boyata and Gordon will be in the managers plans?

{Ed007's Note - We could go Boyata and Benkovic at CB and move Ajer into CDM...

9.) 31 Oct 2018 13:01:29
Good shout Ed shame we didn't get to see Ajer so much in CDM and see what he's about perhaps only twice? On to the Kouassi situation am I right to believe he doesn't play in the reserves at all? So he's been limited to a few first team opportunities as his only game time?

{Ed007's Note - Yeah that's right about Kouassi, not many of the first team fringe players do.}

10.) 31 Oct 2018 14:55:01
Ajer came to us as a Midfielder. It was Brendan made him a Defender.

{Ed007's Note - No it wasn't.}

11.) 31 Oct 2018 16:36:19
I'm pretty sure ajer when to CB under Ronny.

12.) 31 Oct 2018 18:09:02
I was trying to give Brendan the credit.

29 Oct 2018 19:04:01
Here we go, Aberdeen want a 50/50 Hampden ticket split against Celtic.

The SPFL gave Sevco 36,000 tickets and SS could only sell 11,000.

I would give them 15,000 tickets and Celtic the rest. If they can't sell them all then they need to send them back.

Grey Heid Bhoy

1.) 30 Oct 2018 07:41:34
They'll get the 50/ 50 nothin surer.

2.) 30 Oct 2018 09:37:17
They're not wanting a 50/ 50 split.

3.) 30 Oct 2018 09:44:08
See how many turn up tomorrow night v Hamilton and give them that amount.

4.) 30 Oct 2018 11:51:35
It is a final, give them 20,000 with the proviso any unsold tickets go to Celtic.

5.) 30 Oct 2018 11:53:10
There’s an argument that the fans who attended the semis for Celtic and SS should get tickets first. If u weren’t at semis u should wait for Lottery for any leftovers.

So an initial 32,000 to Celtic and 11,000 to SS.

Thereafter 50/50.

6.) 30 Oct 2018 16:28:38
Teams should be entitled to a 50/ 50 split but with a strict deadline. Any unsold tickets by that deadline should then be up for grabs for the opposing fans.

Super strong squad. No risks with three points.
If all goes well, Newbies get a shout.

It could be a super massive scoreline. A record.

Nakasjockstrap, that could have been PL on the phone putting on a soft Irish brogue voice.

He is quite clever. He might even hire a guy with the same voice.

Once you become all powerful and control all people and all the money and all the SFA, you do crazy daft things for the fun of it.

Then again, he could be a BR target. But that’s just boring.

I don’t think we know who brought him. I posited speculation and a “what if” a week or so ago.

Regardless of his route into the club, if he’s good enough he should play. In my book after 4 months of reserves, he deserves a showing or two or three.

Kouassi and Ntcham should be benched for a bit. Mulumbu is on a jury’s out naughty step, it appears.

It’s going to be a young fast attacking midfield if he partners Christie.

Arzani can step into left wing, right wing and attacking midfield.

He can give a break for Sinclair, McGregor, Rogic, Christie or Forrest after Leipzig and cup semi exertions.

What an astonishing outburst.
It’s clearly abusive.
I mentioned four wars. I understand all four of them extremely well. No need for further reading.
I invite you to explain yourself and your abusive personal comments. Back up the rhetoric or apologise.

Grey Heid Bhoy

{Ed007's Note - Clearly abusive - 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Did I hurt your feelings?
I'll apologise for nothing to an ignoramus. Start with Chilcot inquiry, Tony Blair and Jack Straw should be publicly hung and it should be shown live on TV.
In this day and age, if you're stupid enough to sign up to the armed forces you should be required to get insured against death and injury. Getting shot at or facing chance of being blown up etc are all part of the job description, they know what they're getting into or are they THAT dumb?
Simply put, if the government, bankers and arms dealers & drug dealers that are sending you to war aren't going to pay to look after you or your family in the event of injury or death then why should joe public be hassled and bullied into it?
I'd much rather help those that need help through no fault of their own, the poor, kids, cancer & dementia sufferers and their families.
WW1 and WW2, yeah that's fine, but after the 2 World Wars, your fights over oil in the middles east, Northern Ireland, the Falklands, the so-called war on terror where the UK and US actually fund the terrorists they're supposedly fighting-forget it.
And there can't be many WW1 and 2 vets left to look after so people are entitled to shun poppies if they disagree with these modern so called wars, that's a freedom that the young men in WW2 fought for.
This annual poppy garbage has long been beyond the pale, if people want to wear one then wear it and if you don't then don't, I couldn't give two flying f**ks but don't force anyone to do either.
So don't come on here demanding apologises from me when you clearly don't have a clue what you're on about.Have you ever heard of Harry Leslie Smith, I'll listen to him or Jon Snow before I'd ever listen to the likes of you.}

Good post Kevbhoy, very balanced. Let folks do what they want.
I wear my poppy with pride.
My grandfather survived two years at the Somme, WWI.
Other relatives died and were injured fighting persons in WWII.
I disagree it is hijacked by fascists.
A great many armed forces personnel support Celtic and have done for generations within the armed forces. The poppy is supported from all political parties within the House of Commons, not Fascists. Last time I checked no fascists are in the HoC.
The decision to go to war in Iraq and Afghanistan was voted for by all MPs from all parties in HoC after exhausting debates. We went there with around 30 other countries in support, who also democratically voted for it.

Grey Heid Bhoy

{Ed007's Note - I think I've just been sick in my mouth a bit. There's some garbage sent into the site but this is on a different level of moronic. Go and read up on these "wars" ffs before you embarrass yourself even more.}

The team running out was our first 11.

It will be tough for Broony and Griff to get back into that setup.

Retaining Rogic and Edouard instead of trying the kids would have seen a much bigger scoreline. The clean sheets are very telling too.

Dundee resorting to horrific tackles. The yellows should have been reds. Career ending, scary stuff. 2 more injures.

Arzani stretchered off on his debut! Typical of us just now.

A great performance, well done, three more points.

Sevco draw at home. Has Slippy G String lost the dressing room? He says they’ve no bottle!
