Norway FA reporting Euros postponed until 2021, to allow domestic leagues to be completed when safe to do so.

Apparently there's Twitter rumours that Strachan is lined up to replace Ange.

If this happens I'll be disgusted. His tenure started brilliantly but injuries have limited his options. Look at the bench we had on Sunday. No-one there that could have realistically changed the game.

What's Strachan going to do better? I have faith that Ange can do the job. But then he's trying to change the board's way of thinking. We see how that allegedely worked for Dom.

Is it possible to implement change? Dermott seems to want the club to be self sufficient. Which is admirable. We see how racking up debt goes over at the other side. But if the board's success is purrly tied into financial performance that is to the detriment of the football side. That same financial debt on the other side turned into football success.

Football as a business is unique, especially in Scotland. We are passionate but lack the financial rewards from the league. We demand success but are constrained financially. For every successful transfer story there are numerous failures.

This is a squad rebuilding year. It may be too much at one time to have a business restructuring year at the same time. But, for me, it's long overdue. The board have become narrow focused on financial performance. There is a way to balance both financial and football performance.

Not with this board, this way if thinking.

You never go back to an ex. Strachan is an ex and should remain so. We had some good times but the magic is gone.

?ox. he's here to rebuild a team that has been downsized since Rodgers left. All professionalism left with Rodgers. Ange inherited a shambles caused by Lawell the board and team Lennedy. He will have my full backing 100% through his rebuild. He knows already that folk and the MSM want him to fail badly which will spur him on. Injuries haven't helped with 2 main strikers out Captain out full backs out. The defence and cross balls into the box needs sorted out. If we improve on them with a fully fit team we will go from strength to strength.

2.) 30 Sep 2021 04:15:53
I don’t believe the Celtic board will sack Ange.
If the rumour is true, it will be because Ange wants to leave.
He’s maybe not happy with the setup behind the scenes and he’s working with one hand tied behind his back.
It’s possible he was promised his own coaching staff, Director Of Football, Head Of Recruitment and the Chief Executive who brought him to the club has left after only 72 days because he was working with Dinosaur board members.
Last week he was given a Head of Sports Science colleague who was employed by Greenock Morton only 6 months ago, another cheap option.
Callum McGregor has recently signed a 5 year contract and Ange had a “massive influence” in his decision to commit to our club.
Also guys like Ryan Christie were impressed with Ange in his short time working with him and he’s convinced the Big man will bring success to the club.

3.) 30 Sep 2021 07:49:16
Rumour is pish although I think Ange has realised what he's let himself in for working under iron fist Desmond.

4.) 30 Sep 2021 08:05:40
Buzz Bomb - you took the words out of my mouth.
If Ange goes it will be HIS decision and probably down to the failures of the Board.

I always liked WGS and he gave us some great times while in charge. Would I have him back? I would not say no but they do say don't go back.

I think the Ange leaving rumour is just that, a rumour.

(mind you, if he did walk away, who is out there ready to come in? We saw how that shambles worked previously)

5.) 30 Sep 2021 08:21:56
Oh well if its on Twitter!

6.) 30 Sep 2021 09:27:00
I wouldn't put anything by that shower.

7.) 30 Sep 2021 10:16:21
Funny how these destructive rumours manifest during difficult periods and bad results. A month ago when we had all the players fit he was being talked about in the same sentence as Guardiola.

8.) 30 Sep 2021 10:33:59
Ange is here for the rebuild lads. Give it time.

9.) 30 Sep 2021 13:02:59
Rebuild excuse doesn't wash with me. Rebuild doesn't mean drop 11 points in 7 games at start of season.

We are in a worse position this season with a better team, compared to last season.

Had good enough players available to change shape against Livingston and Dundee United to win both games.

Players im talking about likes of Biton and Shaw would walk into any team outside old firm in spfl.

If Ange can't see that 4-3-3 doesn't work against teams that play 5 in midfield, then he certainly is not man for the job.

10.) 30 Sep 2021 13:20:45
BuzzBomb and Pud - agree with your posts ☘?☘

dnn38 - 'oldfirm' died in 2012 ?.

Pedro71 yes that's true, my mistake lol.

12.) 30 Sep 2021 18:39:57
@dnn38
What you just said is why it's a rebuild job. Ange is new give him time.

10m been quoted?

4.) 26 Jan 2021 13:41:19
He will be the first of many in next wee while, seemingly dembele won't sign on again either. We will need a complete new team by summer, that's manager and chief exec too.

5.) 26 Jan 2021 14:14:32
Anyone think players want to leave because of our management team style of play and training methods.

6.) 26 Jan 2021 15:04:49
Cork Paul
Having fans with short memories turning on them viciously doesn’t exactly encourage players to stay.

7.) 26 Jan 2021 15:17:49
Very true cokey. That doesn't help at all.

Slavia Prague next round. I'll be honest, I have no idea if that's good or bad. Unseeded but won a tough league, according to reports.

Yes, we have to get past Cluj but I'm confident we'll do so.

reached the quarters of europa league last year, lost 5-3 on agg to Chelsea. On the way there they beat Zenit, Bordeaux, Copenhagen, Genk and Sevilla. Pretty tough draw I reckon!

2.) 05 Aug 2019 11:36:59
Worst draw we could have got.

3.) 05 Aug 2019 11:37:15
Saw there game at Chelsea last year and they gave them a chasing. very hard game presuming we get through.

4.) 05 Aug 2019 11:47:04
One of worse draws we could have got. Seems to happen to us every season.

5.) 05 Aug 2019 11:52:20
That is one extremely tough draw.

6.) 05 Aug 2019 12:01:07
Get a few signings in before deadline nah we'll wait till we're out.

7.) 05 Aug 2019 12:24:53
Always happens to us. Bad draw.

8.) 05 Aug 2019 12:28:54
Well beat Cluj, this lot will be a different story but I’ve seen us give anyone a game. If we see cluj off easily we will get Slavia a game. Worst ties we could have got are Hapoel and Berne. We could best Slavia.

9.) 05 Aug 2019 12:31:07
I am confident of beating Cluj but todays draw will probably be too tough.
We had a 50/ 50 chance of getting a good draw. Typical.
Our new defenders are untried against good opposition but hopefully they will step up. Going forward we will cause any team problems.

10.) 05 Aug 2019 12:47:36
Better hope we knock Cluj out because the europa league draw is not easy.
We could get the champions of Sweden, who were 3 minutes away from knocking out Maribor in the C. L. qualifier. AIK will be a good few games into their season also.

11.) 05 Aug 2019 12:50:44
No point even thinking about Slavia until we are confirmed as their next opponents. 2 games to get through to be there so let's focus on the team we have to beat first. Will we beat Cluj? Maybe we will, on the other hand we may not so let's not get ahead of ourselves by talking about how difficult a team Slavia will be. It might be Cluj facing them in which case we don't have to think about it. HH.

12.) 05 Aug 2019 12:59:06
Let's face it why be in the champions league if we are worried about lining up against Slavia? If it were the group stage then we would be delighted at having a team like Slavia to face to gain valuable points.
The draw is the draw, let's take each game one step at a time, we can beat Cluj if we stay focused and play like we have done, they ain't an easy side either but on our day we could destroy them.
If we don't qualify we move on to our main aim, 9IAR.

13.) 05 Aug 2019 13:10:44
I’m much more confident going into any of these European games with Lennon than I was with Rodgers.
Lennon isn’t too arrogant to adjust his philosophy to suit the game.
Gerrard said that Rodgers tactics in Europe even for Liverpool were dubious when he was there.
In Lennon and Christie we trust.

14.) 05 Aug 2019 13:13:09
I'd have rather Berne than Slavia. Dangerous team and they know how to score goals. Their 2nd half they looked like they was going to knock Chelsea out after some comeback.

15.) 05 Aug 2019 13:54:49
Slavia are considerably weaker than they were last season.

Absolutely shocking positioning at that goal. I'd even say his positioning at first was suspect as well.

Notice his lacklustre attempt at the penalty save? Just seemed to fall over.
