What is Rogic still on the field for? Clearly knackered after 60 mins. Team selection was mince from the outset.

Totally agree, changing tactics at home when we have been playing so well makes zero sense what so ever, that was painful to watch, second to every ball, our touch was poor, link up play was worse, and our positioning even worse, awful.

As long as Brown is in midfield this Celtic team will never play to its full potential, it was just our bad luck that Ntcham was injured and Christie was suspended tonight, don't know why Soro was bought if he doesn't get a chance to settle into the team by playing the last few weeks, then he could have played tonight, Brown should be only used from the bench.

Missed most of it because of streaming problems all night; but saw enough to see a good few never really got out the blocks from KO.
As usual we missed a fair few chances - as is happening far too often - but we gave away possession and made too many defensive errors to win any game - never mind a EC tie, in the balance.
The team was good enough to win IF hey had all done their jobs. However, this was not the case and NL took too long to see it and change the personnel and system.
The penalty was a Godsend, but we lost the plot immediately after it and once again we are talking about learning lessons and players not handling big game pressure and that's a shame after the way the team has played after the winter break.
So, Sevco stay in Europe for another couple of games, but we have to shake this off and retain our trophies and take the disappointment out on the rest of the domestic opposition H and A.

Nailed it. Eddie totally isolated up front with no one to play off.
I've never been convinced by Sumo. Constantly gets caught out and making stupid rash challenges.

big julien must be saying what are these 2 clowns beside me playing at 2 of the softest centre half I've seen at parkhead in all my years.

Can't believe we played that bad and are still level. Other than FF, Frimpong only one showing.

Would put Nitcham on and Christie up front.

Kris Boyd beside himself with excitement at the thought of Celtic losing points here today. Big statement of intent from team if they can take the 3 points with 10 men.

Mcann the same on the radio, heard the glee in his voice when the goal went in. The BBC, are as corrupt as there favourite team.

2.) 06 Oct 2019 13:48:48
Let’s not sink to Boyd and Mcanns level lads, we all know what they are! Let’s concentrate on how poor we’ve been today! Hardly a shot on goal, Ill discipline and a lack of quality all game! Last week was a game we should have won but this week we’ve been really poor!

Our clueless manager with a tactical masterclass full of character and heart. Injury to our outstanding centre half but no problem. Anyone still doubting Lennon should have a word with themselves. Lucky to have him. Far better watch as well than BR brand of football.

Looks like Celtic should just forfeit the points tomorrow. Vast majority of pundits and columnists going for convincing Rangers win. Then there is Kris Boyd saying Bongoli and Julian have weakened the team. He picks a combined XI with 6 current buns and 5 Celtic players on current form. No place for Ajer.

Really hope the team can forget the crowd intimidation factor and play to a level that will be too hot for an overhyped Rangers team. Have a feeling that Bayo might just have a big say tomorrow.

I agree there lenny has to drum it in to them that all of the media journalist are desperate for the bhoys to fail fill the Jersey lads and walk away from the snake pit as champions should do the hype from the media on this average newco team is actually embarrassing my only concern is the officials I dimt care what anyone says officials can swing a game not a problem please God we get a fair crack and step up lads if we do I predict slippy will get hit hard with the knuckle draggers.

2.) 31 Aug 2019 23:00:03
You must be having a laugh, the crowd intimidation factor?, that should be an insentive, there is nothing better than silencing that crowd, the better team will win, if Lenny picks the right team and tactics, the silence from the majority of the crowd at Ibrox will be golden.

3.) 31 Aug 2019 23:38:18
Bhoys expect the expected intimidation, the usual corrupt orange biased officials, it’s the way it always has been and always will.
We’ve grown out from that cess pit bigoted vile preference We’ve proven we’re better than that on the pitch, that’s where it matters.

4.) 01 Sep 2019 04:44:38
Sevco have been fast starters under slippy and Celtic have not scored many goals in the first 30 minutes with Lenny in charge. The first 30minutes will be crucial and if we are at least level after this time, we will go on to win the match.
I can see Christie scoring today, although I doubt it will be from the penalty spot.

5.) 01 Sep 2019 09:06:50
The lack of Celtic support is definitely a factor and you could see in the last two visits, how some of our players were intimidated and froze, while others failed to match their intensity and aggression.
Even the manager on the last game was very withdrawn and static.
There's no doubt we have the talent and quality advantage, but if we fail to match the effort, fight and energy, we will struggle.
However, NL will know that this is a perfect opportunity to silence his critics, their hollow boasts and remind everyone of our intent.

6.) 01 Sep 2019 09:20:35
LeedsCelt three of today’s officials are not orange as you suggested one of the assistants is my son in law the other from a big Celtic supporting family and the fourth official is Collum who is most definately not orange.

7.) 01 Sep 2019 09:26:45
watching the pundits eating humble pie will be almost as good as taking the points home from the asbestos dome - 1 pundit even promoting a 4 - nil score line - OMFG what planet are these people on - NL should only need to show them these predictions to motivate out bhoys - so long as we play to %85+ of our capabilities it will be enough to put the orcs back in there places - HH - 2 to go till 10 in a row.

What’s Sevco’s excuse for having the stamina for it today then? Tiredness is a tired excuse!

How anyone could criticise Brown’s performance on Sunday is beyond me! Watch the rerun and Brown was critical to winning that game, especially in the last 20. If Brown hadn’t played not even Forster’s heroics would have been enough. An absolute legend who galvanises the whole team. Hypothetical choice of Brown or Edouard on Sunday, Brown every single time!

Pitch had a huge part to play, and that is not an excuse. Christie lost us the game, plain and simple. The surface is only fit for a long ball battle and you need 11 men for that. It’s the ultimate leveller as it killed Celtic’s ball players, especially when down to 10. Must do better.

I would have been very confident of making the group stages had we drew the 2nd leg against Slavia at CP. The atmosphere is too intimidating for most teams and becomes the 12th man. It’s why we’ll beat Cluj but getting the victory in Prague if the tie is in the balance will take a supreme effort.

Not judging Lennon after one game. I remember him doing well at ‘his’ club with a significantly inferior squad to the one he has now. Two last 16 appearances in the CL and won every league he competed for. Much more experienced now. The Hibs team he got promoted were brilliant to watch. Yes it went pear-shaped but he’s where he wants to be now.

There was no evidence to judge him as anything other than a fine choice for the job.
