Strong links and word that tierney is off to Man United. Hence interest in this Turkish boy. hope to Christ this is incorrect.

Bigmick81

1.) 10 Jun 2017 12:29:30
Is he, aye?

2.) 10 Jun 2017 12:30:14
Ha ha good one. Stong links, eh where or what are these magical sources. Your dog is best pals with KT, s neighbours dog and he heard it straight from KT's.

3.) 10 Jun 2017 12:40:37
Is it the trollness or the false sincerity that gets me everytime? Its time for hoopy88 to return to entertain us post season.

4.) 10 Jun 2017 12:44:36
Strong links?

5.) 10 Jun 2017 13:33:13
Mick, your a total Whalloper. Hail Hail.

6.) 10 Jun 2017 14:23:34
Fooling no one pal, but kudos for repeatedly spouting mince and clicking disagree.

7.) 10 Jun 2017 15:07:57
U on the glue mick.

8.) 10 Jun 2017 15:33:18
Strange mick I know for a fact big money has been offered by at least two huge clubs and he was made aware of this by club who told him they would rather he stay but wouldn't stand in his way. He apparently was insistent he will not be leaving before ten in a row are won.

9.) 10 Jun 2017 15:33:41
Seems that the click monkeys have gone into pre season mode n have ramped it right up.

10.) 10 Jun 2017 20:01:44
More chance of me signing for Man Utd.

11.) 10 Jun 2017 23:37:38
Why do some people repeat nonsense and try to give it legs .
I might as well say strong stories K Tierney not leaving Celtic for seasons.

Is there anymore news on paddy guys. Presently surprised. but am not getting too carried away just now. I would be gutted though if we did lose moussa just now even if we did buy Roberts. Another season at least. But as everyone says it's hard with the silly money going around. Would be a huge setback if we loose moussa and paddy didn't come.

Please guys what would think if this happened. Would you seriously think things have changed.

Bigmick81

1.) 07 Jun 2017 13:47:49
Mick were all easy with the situation mate, Its you whose sphincters flapping like a dolphins blowhole, Should relax yourself mate.

2.) 07 Jun 2017 14:55:42
I am still on such a high after our magnificent, record breaking season and have absolute trust in the manager to 'wheel and deal' in the coming weeks as he sees fit.
He will have the best knowledge and control of who stays and go's and a list of suitable candidates/ replacements.
His signings last year made a huge difference to our style of play, consistency and confidence and even though some people point out that The likes of De Vries and Gamboa may not have made an impact - however, like big Kolo, their presence ignited a huge improvement in Gordon, Lustig (who played much more games than before) and Boyata - who made a big improvement.
Obviously it would be ideal to keep Paddy and The Moose and just tidy up the squad, but whatever transpires, I am very confident BR will have it all well in hand. HH.

3.) 07 Jun 2017 14:44:04
Bigmick are you at it? Do we think things have changed? In what way? As far as playing staff are concerned , well yes we wouldn't have paddy or moussa, obviously. If your talking about the balance of power in Scottish football , lol 😁 no even if we didn't buy any replacement, then we would still have enough to take care of what I'm starting to suspect is your favourite team from across the city .

4.) 07 Jun 2017 16:12:05
Guys do what I now do treat this OP as a Troll.

5.) 08 Jun 2017 08:00:30
Tim i know he's on the wind up mate, it don't bother me much, im actually missing hoops88 transfer rumours maself lol, close season bores me to tears.

01 Jun 2017 11:12:56
This is not a criticism this early on, however, surely with qualifiers looking in less than four weeks, Rodgers and the back room would have targets lined up or serious bids to be made. Surely with all the recents profits, and Rodgers and Desmond stating last 16 being the goal then surely players of quality will be brought in.

I have heard that Lawwell is putting any substantial signings off until qualification. Again. If this is true Rodgers will not stay for long. They cannot keep wishing and hoping to qualify as qualifying teams are better and have substantial financial input in order to progress.

Bigmick81

1.) 01 Jun 2017 11:30:55
our seasons not even finished a week. if there is only 3 or 4 signing to be made i would rather they give they give them self time to get the right player at the right price. i don't understand why the panic setting in. clubs might be looking to sign players before moving others on. i will more than happy with this team going through the qualifiers. it's quality not quantity we need.

2.) 01 Jun 2017 11:37:50
Spot on JJ.

Rodgers please bin that weak pile pish Forrest and bring on Hayes. big tactical mistake. And play him upfront and let Regis and sinky drop into there natural positions, you can't expect to play all these players out of position and hope it clicks. Comes down to recruitment.

Bigmick81

1.) 26 Jul 2017 21:46:13
Bigmick. We have more problems than Forrest. Dembele is going. Hear what BR says but he is gone before window closes. We need to do it sooner than later so we can use money to buy a new striker. Griffiths stupidity put us st a dissadvantage but we could have plsyed Sinclair up front. No idea why we didn't do that. Need a big performance next week. We were lucky today. I am not hopeful.

2.) 26 Jul 2017 22:26:13
Stop blaming LG, Youz where all loving it when he done it at Ipox. It's The Board and St Brendan's fault for not signing another striker sooner. Hail Hail.

3.) 26 Jul 2017 21:47:02
Forrest is the scapegoat. sinclair couldve stayed at home for all he did Armstrong and rogic very poor ntcham done ok for about 5 / 10 mins then nothing. benyu not enough time but no better than McGregor . mgregor must feel very hard done by watching this Henderson also .

if we get through this and it's a big if I'd give Armstrong the ultimatum sign or go I'd sell moussa as we know its only time till he goes and invest in at least one more striker. we also need a playmaker I like rogic but he's not the most mobile / quickest and has no threat/ challenge in his position.

4.) 27 Jul 2017 09:05:32
Forest I at the scapegoat. He us utterly push though and for how long can a man without a decent shot or final baw can get away with it for so long baffles and enrages me.

He wasn't alone but he was woeful. He flatters to deceive. Hayes isn't the answer either.

We had absolutely nothing in the last third. Zilch, it was like watching sevco fizzle out in the last third. And that's bad.

10 Jul 2017 21:17:03
Guys anyone know why this boy still hasn't been announced. Surprised if he has had medical etc what's the hold up. Excited about the lad coming in, looks a solid player physically. Regarding Armstrong I think personally he will be sold if he is messing Celtic and rodgers around. I know he is a great player, but let's remember he had one outstanding season because of rodgers input I think. He may go on to have many great seasons, but maybe he is become big headed, and thinks he is better than Celtic. Just my opinion, could be completely wrong, and he will sign, but something isn't right a feel.

Bigmick81

1.) 11 Jul 2017 00:03:09
Aye some sites now saying Armstrong moving away now.

2.) 11 Jul 2017 03:02:27
If he wants away sell him, Even if we also sell Bitton and GMS also we still have Brown, McGregor, Kouassi, Benyu, Rogic, Sinclair, Hayes, Forrest and Ntchem with hopefully wee paddy coming back.
I honestly don't see us struggling if he goes.

3.) 11 Jul 2017 11:42:02
Patience Grasshopper! Oh yee of little faith. We have never been this strong pre season for many years. Im sure Rodgers and the board will improve the squad and sort out any transfer dealings. Lawell will stick to his role and leave the football side to Rodgers and the backroom staff.

4.) 11 Jul 2017 13:33:03
Think that's just the way your built Mick, Always complaining about something .

5.) 11 Jul 2017 13:50:08
What do we think the day bhoys signing to be announced or not announced? Dragging on a bit now is it no.

6.) 11 Jul 2017 15:12:43
Here's a wee thought. Perhpas it'll be announced and he'll be unveiled on friday when the Linfield game is being shown at CP?

7.) 11 Jul 2017 15:37:11
Thinking that myself rich! Rippin the arse out it now are they not lol! Thought it would have been done and dusted by now!

8.) 11 Jul 2017 16:03:53
Would have liked to see him get a game on Friday but it won't happen. I really want to see how Kouassi turns out. Also would not drram of risking Brown in this one. No need. Let him recover 100% from the knock. This will be 3-0 minimum.

9.) 11 Jul 2017 16:22:48
Johnny, Kouassi not kicked a ball pre season as far as I can remember so can't see him feature but like you Ntcham in for me they have left a space open for him in the opening CL pool (y)

06 Jul 2017 21:59:10
You know we have been linked with nearly every player recently, and everyone has went elsewhere is not supposedly wanting to move. So am taking with a pinch of salt. only rodgers knows who is after, we could be all totally wrong with every rumour, let's just sit tight, and hope that we keep all the current squad together, and possibly add a couple of key players. I think the difference this year compared to every other year is we can't compete with wages of the epl. simple. Let's bring our own in. give Ajer dalton a go.

Bigmick81

1.) 07 Jul 2017 06:29:46
Yeah, you are right Mick, it's only this season that we can't keep up with the premier with wages 🙈. In saying that I'm looking forward to seeing dalton play, because I've never heard of him. Was he the bouncer in road house. Maybe that's what we need, an enforcer 🤔.

2.) 07 Jul 2017 11:02:17
Get Wade garret in there too Quinn bud lol, now that's a midfield pairing.

3.) 07 Jul 2017 12:22:24
Hahaha brilliant lads! Love that film! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂.

06 Jul 2017 21:51:30
Let's live in the real world, in no way will Rooney come to Celtic. his wages are ridiculous.

Bigmick81

1.) 07 Jul 2017 06:33:37
Rumours are just tactical bull. All the players that we are allegedly after, were we actually after them? Brendan never said he was after this one or that one. Yes the club will have checked on the status or registered an interest in many, but that doesn't mean we were actually looking to sign them. Brendan is a top person who won't ever come out and trash a player as rubbish. He has simply stated that this player or that player is a quality player, but never said he was in talks to sign them. As far as Rooney is concerned, it would be a great honour for him if he signed for Celtic, but he is not what we need and I would not be excited if he signed for us.

Brendan has signed Hayes and Benyu. Benyu is highly rated and top clubs in the EPL did their thing and offered twice the wages for this up and coming star, he chose Celtic over higher wages at top EPL clubs. This should show you that Brendan gets his man, end of.

All those rumours of alleged Celtic transfer targets opting to snub Celtic for smaller clubs is absolute rubbish. This is a ploy to set a mindset by the various media and bloggers that Celtic are not am attractive proposition and that average players are rejecting us. This is utter bullshit.

Stop living in the past with the old mindsets. Brendan is building an empire at Celtic, a legacy that stats from our 8 year olds right through to our senior team. Every player throughout the various youth ranks are now being groomed for specific positions to one day break into the first team. Thus creating our own world class superstars that means we don't have to be able to spend £100m to get one when Brendan had made them himself. Think of Celtic creating superstars of the same quality level as a Messi and getting a few years out of them then selling on for £100m, etc! You don't have to be Spanish, or English, or German to become a football master. You train and play anywhere in the world under the right coaching with the top facilities and bang you are there. You need only the desire and motivation. Football is like martial arts, the better your sensei the better you become. Brendan is am elite manager that can manage any European team he fancies if a vacancy is open.

Celtic are writing a era of history and I'm excited by what's going on. 😊.

2.) 07 Jul 2017 14:56:01
excited by no signings?

04 Jul 2017 22:11:15
What's with the Scottish media, most countries want there best young prospects to develop, to prosper and do well for there club, but no our mob can't wait to see us fail. Makes me angry, I still think Armstrong will stay, as will dembele guys, yes we do need one or two experienced players like a Sinclair level, but I think rodgers is being a tactician, I'm that years gone by how much cash have we wasted on dross, maybes, or hopefuls. Yeah we get one rush diamond like vvd or victor, and hopefully we will have a few more, but I think that game there shows Celtic have deco matured and learned in a year.

Bigmick81

1.) 04 Jul 2017 23:37:14
I hope you have matured and learned Mick cos i recall just last week you were posting some guff about Celtic not spending . As I've said before I smeĺl s**** every time you post.

2.) 05 Jul 2017 20:39:53
Ok stevie you are totally eed titled to your opinion. One of which you are wrong with. Iam as much a Celtic man as you or anybody else. I think your paranoid too mate. but then again I don't know you, you may be the nicest guy around. It's only a bit banter and general chat about our team. Let's stop picking spats withs people and just talk sense and current topics, ie Celtic, not a smell shite stuff. Get a grip pal.

A draw would be a poor result tonight. concerned. We should have addressed this last year. totally unacceptable. sorry rodgers and board to blame. don't care what any one says. There is no chance we will beat a better team if we do get past rosenborg. Why are we surprised. We never strengthen pisses me off. Forest pish why he playing.

Spot on kev. it's the back line that concerns me hugely. It's not being negative, but the more time goes by the more worrying it becomes, as we are no where good enough at the back for group stage champions league. Simple.

You are spot on mate, I agree with you. pre season it's crazy as they are hard at it all year round. I train in a different sporting discipline to football, and the training is more physically taxing on the body. I think people get the wrong impression of me mate, is a die hard Tim, a just for my back up at few comment which I felt were of a personal ilk bud, so was naturally on wind up. Anyway, I agree that we can't look into friendlies pre season etc, how do we all feel when we are first back form a break. We can't be arsed at first.

It is true Brendan is the Celtic manager for a reason, and we aren't. Just like warren gatlin is lions man. He too got flak. But we need to trust those at he helm. Who am I to judge Brendan. The guy is clearly a genius at man management. and for me that is paramount. The rest ie fitness should and is down mostly to the individual. If we compare griffo at first to say brown, they work ethic is so far apart. Browns a well lubed machine Leigh gifted but lazy with his diet and fitness.

History of the board does not fare well mate simple. I am heart to be convinced. Tell
You what i may be proven wrong, but a don't think we will break our transfer record, lawell has his story ready, we can't compete with the rest of Europe or epl. see it right now easy way out. Yes I do think they will buy one or two squad players, but only once they sell a few.

Oh I am so so excited about our marquee signing, Hayes. The board will sell anyone if the price is right. We will never get past the group Stage. This is just my opinion. I feel that the board don't give a rubbish about the fans. They got there 50,000 season tickets now, so they don't need a marquee signing. The board know we trust Brendan, and with this blind loyalty gives them a free pass they know if they don't buy anyone of any clout, we will say oh, it's ok in Brendan we trust we must have a good enough team.

That's not what the guys on here are saying, he is a cracking we player, we may all well have to eat humble pie. I think it's about the board here, we are getting mixed messages, rodgers surely would have urged money when signing his contract. Plus bid dd said last 16 .

But maybe they want it for very little investment, let's be real here the board have infuriated us before. They have made massive pre tax profits from Brendan alone, plus cl money. We can afford it big time. All we want is just to see some ambition. It's like buying a Ferrari and pitting fiat pinto wheels on it.
