BigBenny

1.) 26 Mar 2021 23:20:52
Howe odds on to be new manager, Keane out to 4/1.

2.) 26 Mar 2021 23:34:02
If he was in Glasgow someone would have a picture.

3.) 26 Mar 2021 23:57:32
Plz please be true.

4.) 27 Mar 2021 00:45:04
Benny, I heard that too. Apparently he was carrying Keano's bags. HH.

5.) 27 Mar 2021 07:02:02
I seen rumours on twitter, but didn't seem legit. But, have caused a big odds shift.

6.) 27 Mar 2021 07:57:31
1dont want eddie howe either.

7.) 27 Mar 2021 08:59:58
Is it pep for you LAW?

8.) 27 Mar 2021 09:44:23
It's not true. Just some bam winding us up.

9.) 27 Mar 2021 10:23:53
Their was a rumour, Howe was playing golf with Lawwell around October, November time. If true was that his 1st “unofficial” interview?

10.) 27 Mar 2021 11:09:38
Just seen on Twitter he's at the McDonald's drive thru Easterhouse. Caramel Sundae was his preferred option. Just getting fuelled up for the challenges ahead 😱😱😱.

11.) 27 Mar 2021 12:34:49
The Twitter account that’s rumoured to have a connection to the Desmond family has confirmed Keane will Not be the new Celtic manager.

12.) 27 Mar 2021 14:03:03
Don’t talk pish auf1888 ye don’t get caramel sundaes noo.

13.) 27 Mar 2021 14:43:23
Agreed Weewhitey, sure it's only Saturday! lol HH.

14.) 27 Mar 2021 15:42:59
WeeWhitey
😂😂😂 Must have made Eddie a wee treat. My source is impeccable 😉😉.

15.) 27 Mar 2021 16:08:32
I still think it's some one in a job already I have not got a Scooby who it is but I can't see another reason why it's taking so long I understand and agree we have to get it right but if it was someone out of a job I think we would know atleast who it is by now.

16.) 27 Mar 2021 18:01:56
CovJim didn't Rodgers have a round of golf with Desmond before taking the job too?

17.) 28 Mar 2021 06:31:37
Howe will end up at Newcastle.

18.) 28 Mar 2021 07:18:10
It’s clear that NOBODY will be appointed until the season is over. Dermott said last week on his Q&A that the new chief executive would be 1 of a number of people who have a say in the new appointment before the board would then need to rubber stamp it.
The face we can’t get him to come in earlier to start than pre season would suggest that’s when we will find out who’s the new man in charge.

19.) 28 Mar 2021 09:18:54
If that is the case Gggg, i expect lawwell to burst into the cubicle while kennedy is taking a dump and tell him he has the job.

25 Feb 2021 23:55:43
I think it's Jim or Kennedy depending on rest of season.

BigBenny

1.) 26 Feb 2021 15:35:00
Jim who?

2.) 27 Feb 2021 07:17:58
Dr Who's wee brother.

3.) 27 Feb 2021 11:14:24
Celtic have a biscuit tin mentality. They won't go outside their budget. I'd be surprised if they go for AGrade proven managers. let's get real.

4.) 27 Feb 2021 11:29:13
Aussie Ray, on the most part I am in agreement but we need to remember that once in a while, we step away from that model and bring in someone of the calibre or MON or Rodgers and back them in the transfer market.

Hopefully, this is going to be one of those times were we go big.

Personally, I believe that like me, there are a lot of angry fans who are angry at the club for failing to deliver 10 in a row and they will not be placated by some mediocre manager coming in, way too late.

5.) 27 Feb 2021 12:02:37
We didn't go big to secure the 10 we just went with the cheap option that no fan wanted. The club is in a bit of a mess, there's a massive rebuild needed, Lawwell is away, C.V. has hit us financially and with the possibility next seasons league winners will get direct entry into the CL hopefully we show some ambition with the DoF, Manager and squad additions as player sales should raise the club plenty of money.

6.) 27 Feb 2021 12:57:54
I’m not angry that they failed to deliver the ten, I’m angry over how they’ve gone about this season. I think Lennon did a pretty good job last year, but this season has been poor from before the league kicked off. We didn’t even play that well in the 5-1 opening day win, then the form went down hill. It was clear to the majority who weren’t wearing green goggles from the first the rangers game that Lennon needed replaced, but the board stuck their fingers up at us. That’s why I’m angry.
I’m self employed and will have to have a serious think about renewing or not, but if Kennedy gets the job, or we go for someone like jack Ross, then I’m not giving them my money. This kind of appointment will show that they don’t care about the fans onion, and it’s still only about finances. Unless of course, Kennedy somehow wins 8 games 5-0.

7.) 28 Feb 2021 17:30:53
100% LAW.

Personally im delighted Rodgers is back. He delivered amazing success first time round and ill be happy with more of the same. Those saying his record in europe is poor, Its probably better than id expect, yea, hammered by Barcelona and psg, that's expected. Ange got 2 points in what was a very reasonable group, in my opinion we should of been targeting minimum or 3rd and pushing for 2nd with leipzig. yes he left for the money of the Premier league, was that a shock? Football is a business, managers are 1 or 2 poor seasons from not getting a good job again. our fans can be wile fickle with "loyalty" every player and manager is using every club as a stepping stone. Its a horrible part of modern football, but a part none the less. Of course id love to go on a run in europe, but any season we win a league and cup double i count as successful. How many fans would be happy to follow the ajax model and focus more on youth development, but at the cost of not winning the league every year? Not many id guess.

BigBenny

1.) 20 Jun 2023 11:43:33
Yeah following the Ajax model would be a disaster, 4 times European Cup/ Champions League winners, European Cup Winners Cup, UEFA Cup etc, don't want any of that nonsense lol.

2.) 20 Jun 2023 13:48:57
Yea and that is all many moons ago, ajax have made it to the last 16 3 times in last 25 years. also 9 league titles in 25 years. Celtic have 18 in same period. But hey, that's great success! That era is long gone unless we get a suger daddy.

3.) 20 Jun 2023 15:10:01
Those Ajax last 16's include a Champions League semi final in 2018 - 19 not to mention a Europa League Final in 2016 - 17 and also those 9 league titles have been won in a stronger league than ours's.

But all irrelevant as the important thing is Celtic going forward under Brendan.

4.) 20 Jun 2023 15:15:31
Yer I’d be more than happy they did well in the champions league with a group of mostly homegrown players I’d be fine not winning a treble every year for European success we have the money to improve facilities and make Celtic a success in youth progression look at benfica as well they have the best youth facilities in the world and are producing player after player even if it means we get success in euro power and sell make big bucks and can afford to reinvest in the squad heavily like mark said there wage bill is less than ours yet they do better in Europe we have no excuse.

Can anyone recommend some sort of firestick/ iptv setup?

BigBenny

1.) 29 Jul 2022 10:59:59
26 Jul 2022 08:57:29
I just got my fire stick squared away. No buffering or lagging at all, absolutely top class. £50 a year all sports channels and the rest. If anyone wants the link drop me a message as you can’t access the website any other way.

Took literally an hour to set up.

2.) 29 Jul 2022 11:25:27
@robroy1967 and Benny be careful with your details as technically the firesticks are not officially authorised and BT, Sly etc hate them.
Sly in particular were using something to try and block signal and BT are terrible for buffering, also they may look on sites like this to try and gain details and information.
Finally robroy after ED007 and his email problems, be careful who you send emails to.

3.) 29 Jul 2022 12:35:58
Timallow mate cheers. I have been using a system for 4 years now and i do agree about who you deal with, that is why i sent this as a repost knowing the admins would sensor it. My one piece of advice i would give to everyone is to use a VPN whilst using any device to stream anything. ie: youtube, f/ b, or any social media because you are being spied upon. with reference to buffering issues this is due to settings in certain providers and can be easily knocked of.

4.) 29 Jul 2022 13:28:37
You are better with an android box and a few addons on Kodi like The Loop, Rising Tides, Mad Titan and a few more.
Also there are loads of sites you can get on a pc/ laptop.
I have used them for the last 5 or 6 years and they are all free.

5.) 29 Jul 2022 13:32:47
I have a VPN router which works great. Be aware some apps don't worked with VPN like Amazon etc

Not sure if it's because of my VPN service provider which is expressvpn.

Tried different countries but still the same including the UK.

17 Apr 2022 13:43:17
Stream site for today? Minds went blank with the usual one for some reason.

BigBenny

1.) 17 Apr 2022 14:58:59
Hesgoal.

02 Jan 2022 19:22:35
Quick question, can someone explain the work permit rules? I assumed kyogo was due to playing international football. And I remember back with mizuno, it was under the expectational talent category. I always assumed we didn't target players from Asia etc as they were more difficult to sign.

BigBenny

1.) 02 Jan 2022 20:27:30
Something changed with permits just not alone ago I believe making it easier old friend.

2.) 02 Jan 2022 20:27:25
When applying for an exceptional talent category for Scotland the salary of the player is taken into account. Because Celtic Players tend to be paid 6-7 time 90% of the league players getting a work permit can be easier they need to tick a couple other boxes but that ones a big plus and one of the main reasons players can get a WP for Scotland but not England.

{Ed002's Note - No, it works on the basis of players being paid a similar wage to Sgottish players.}

30 Jul 2021 18:36:12
With the season starting tomorrow, who do we think will be our main striker this season? Obviously eddy hasn't left yet and if that's the case it will be him. But do we see kyogo playing through the middle or left? And who do we think will be on penalties this season.

BigBenny

1.) 30 Jul 2021 18:47:28
Talking of penalties. wasn't Henrik average at taking penalties. I much preferred Thommo.

2.) 30 Jul 2021 18:48:28
We'll need to bring in a straight replacement for Eddy with the money we get for him. I'd like to see us go for somebody in the mould of Dembele; more of a penalty box striker with speed and power. Somebody like Nsame from Young Boys would be perfect imo. He's 28 so at his peak and his scoring record is drastically better than 1 in 2. He scored 7 goals in Europe last season as well which is an excellent return.

3.) 30 Jul 2021 18:59:12
I wouldn’t play Eddy but I reckon Ange will start him at Hearts because I don’t think Kyogo will start.
After Saturday, I would expect Kyogo to play as a striker, until we make new signings.
Captain Calmac will take the responsibility of hitting our penalties.
My only concern is McGregor always hits his penalties to the keepers left.

4.) 30 Jul 2021 19:06:27
BigBenny, we need a 20+ a season man and the 3 imposters currently at the club can all feck off as far as I'm concerned!

We need a Sutton/ Hartdon type player in plus Nisbet from Hibs.

The new lad I hope has a free role.

5.) 30 Jul 2021 19:15:37
I'd have Turnbull taking them if it was up to me. Not seen enough of Abada but he might be an option as well.

6.) 30 Jul 2021 19:28:56
Kyogo will be our main striker this season, I would put McGregor on pens.

7.) 30 Jul 2021 19:48:37
For what it's worth. I've backed kyogo to be spl top scores this season. I'm not expecting him to in honesty. But at 16/ 1 I think it's a great price. Especially if he ends up playing as the main striker. Even if he ends up on the left, if he hits the ground running he could still be there or thereabouts.

8.) 30 Jul 2021 19:56:25
I don't why people keep saying we need a Harston/ Sutton type player plus Nesbit when we don't play with 2 strikers! Basically then your suggesting we play two different styles one week to the next.

If we sell Edouard and replace him with Nesbit then we'll be an even bigger laughing stock.

I believe we have already signed Edouard's replacement in Furuhasi. I think we will sign another winger to allow Kyogo to play through the middle👍.

9.) 30 Jul 2021 19:57:25
Same here Benny. He was scoring for fun in Japan.

10.) 30 Jul 2021 20:11:37
Kyogo is a left side midfielder why play him out of position? We do need a striker but I hope we don't play another player out of position for the season.

11.) 30 Jul 2021 20:13:06
I mentioned Nsame a few years ago. Seems like an ideal Eddy replacement and scores plenty. He picked up a bit of a bad injury towards the tail end of the season not sure if he's still out injured or not.

12.) 30 Jul 2021 20:37:01
Kyogo can play on the left, but most videos show him playing through the middle👍.

13.) 30 Jul 2021 22:03:44
If ange starts Edouard tomorrow l will be gutted. Can't wait for him to be gone.

14.) 30 Jul 2021 22:13:04
malkybhoy, my thinking is that teams will soon work out how to play us or stop us playing, therefore we need a Plan B hence the Hartson/ Sutton suggestion - someoneto hold the ball up and get on the end if crosses.

Also, last season and so far in this window, we're lightweight, all over the work and not upto a physical battle.

Nisbet, I think there's a player who could do a job at CP for years to come. 🤔.

Keane, backed financially by Desmond say 25mil plus any money from sales,

Its likely to be a funny transfer window, and i would guess incoming players are dependent on who leaves. Squad is currently pretty large. I like Walsh, but think he will move on this year as isn't getting much of a chance. I would think there's likely strong interest in CV so id be targeting a CB. in centre mid we have lots of options. I think o'riley may want to move on to nail a starting spot, hatate could well be the big sale this year. Feel like mccarthy also needs to move on.

ill go with a controversial one here, Dele Ali, i know he's obviously a bit of a mess and fell from grace, however his raw talent is undeniable, if agne could get him to tick, there's potentially a player who can kick on in europe, also think that with players like dele, clubs like celtic can just fit, adoration from the fans etc can get players like this back in love with the game. that would be dependent on a sit down with agne and cards on the table.

Theres the obvious chat of abada moving, and even tho i think have the cover at the moment, the fear is that haska gets itchy feet, or jota has interest from EPL or abroad. then a winger is a priority,

If we keep the bulk of full squad intact, why not take the risk on a dele ali type game changer. Not many weaknesses in the side at the moment and would be very confident next season without wholesale changes.

JFP that's probably the best advice to give! I love a bet, but wouldn't like to see the weans at it when there up a bit. I do OK, cam see through sky bet that I made a small profit over the year. My first bet was at 14, a quid in a 13 fold footie acca returned just over 350, I had utd to beat spurs as the only match on the sunday. Ended up the game where Carroll got lobbed and dug it out from a foot behind the line.

Timill. take a joke in the morning mate. Cheers lads, good luck amd keep it sensible!
