If the reports of us signing Scott McKenna are true, where does that leave Kobayashi, Nawrocki and Lagerbielke? Assuming CCV, Scales and Welsh are preferred options when fit. IMO, I like the look of Nawrocki from the limited appearances he has had.
Or is the McKenna rumours just that?

I would imagine Kobayashi's time at Celtic has ended and we will be trying to sell or loan. Phillips has returned to Liverpool. So we now have 5 CBs fighting for two positions.

4 of those CBs are right footed and only Scales is left footed. If we were to sign McKenna, my guess is he would compete with scales for LCB position. For RCB it would be CCV>Welsh/ Nawrocki>Lagerbielke.

With the rate at which our CBs are getting injured I would hold onto them all.

Nawrocki was brought in because he is a right footed left sided CB.

Agree with WeeJoe and for me, Welsh was never a 'preffered option' and is only in the squad because he's Scottish.

If McKenna was to sign and given he's not fearured for Forrest since September and is in the last 6 months of his contract, as WeeJoe has stated that would give us two right footed and two left footed CB's all being fit.

I don't have any hope of us signing these 3 or 4 quality players after Brendans comments about having all injured players returning. Mabe 1 or 2 in. Feck off with the mabe. What does Lawells kid do all week? Our scouting network must be horrific if he's in charge sitting playing football manager.

Only a couple of years ago most people on here who expressed an opinion on signing Mc Kenna were all against him .
I am against him because of his style, I am afraid that our referees and VAR operators will get great joy out of Mc Kenna in relation to penalties and cards.
