Fergus McCann was there on Sunday. I'm glad we won it for The Bunnet!
In my mind Fergus is right up there with Br. Walfrid, Willie Maley Big Jock and the Lisbon Lions.
Without Fergus's intervention where would we be?

100% agree Flame, imo he's the No.1 all time legend for what he done for this club. His legacy is the footballing and financial dominance the club is enjoying at present! He made sure the club would never be in financial mess ever again, he done a such good job getting the club back on it's feet, if the old club hadn't of cheated we'd have won 21 titles in a row.
How many honours have we won since Fergus walked into the bank and put money into our account?

A statue or naming a stand after him simply doesn't pay him back for what he done!

Had Fergus let us go bust -
Only because of the revenue we create would they allow us to exist.

We would be a brand new club with no history retained (especially no European Cup Win) .

I would also agree that Fergus McCann is amongst a handful of the most important (non playing) figures in our club's history.

The bank, they say, were 24 hours away from pulling the plug on Celtic Football Club and make no mistake, they would not have hesitated for a minute.

Fergus McCan was the one who stepped up and breathed new life into our club and brought us back from the edge of the abyss.

Our club that had been systematically robbed and brought to its knees by the Grants, Kelly's and Whites - never forget their part in this episode.

For anyone who booed him or said 'aye but he got plenty' FU£K them for they are morons and should never be allowed into CP again.
