19 players away on international duty and as usual the "impartial" "random" fixture computer puts us up early away on the plastic pitch with less time to recover.
For this reason I would not risk Edouard and play Griffiths and Bayo, one from the bench. Keep French Eddy for Rennes, and with our problems in defence I would not risk El Hamed either, play Bauer instead, and I can see Frimpong getting involved Saturday too maybe on the bench.

Nonsense Tim, strongest 11 everytime. Hamilton is far more important than Rennes👍.

Look on the positive side Tim. If we win then we go six ahead of Sevco before their game, that puts more pressure on them.
I would rather play the strongest team available on Saturday, I don't want to risk undoing any of the good work we did at Ibrox.
I hope we do well in the Europa league, but I feel from now on in our domestic games are more important.

Europa League is a consolation event that means nowt. Putting the mob in there place and securing 9 then 10 is priority.

Plastic pitches should be banned there's no use for the spfl. all right for training, not for full games. too many injuries, I don't understand it how many premiership teams have a plastic pitch? Why can't they invest in a grass pitch. should be made to, they have enough time to invest in it, other teams update their grounds. there should no excuse, even st. mirren new ground when built wasn't plastic and they were in division one.

I agree we have players that these pitches affect or inhibit; however, we have quality options in all positions after a very good 'window' and we should play the strongest team suitable to maintain our advantage and defend our trophies.

Was it Livingston that played on grass in Championship then switched to plastic after being promoted to Premiership?
