On the surface the player seems to be showing no desire to play for us. clearly driven by money.
That's why I was hoping to wake to the headlines of Celtic pulling out of the deal.
It all leaves a sour taste.
Motherwell putting the story out just stinks of letting other clubs know what's going on.
Over 10 grand a week for a prospect is probably over and above what we would normally go.
For me it's over. get the 2 English boys in for half a million and let Turnbull go to the championship.

Well said mate. seems the agent used us for a better offer down south. I do not under stand the greed of players.

Just business.
Most of us would walk over broken glass for the chance to pull on the hoops but that is passion and heart ruling head.
The reality is, His agent realises the window has a long way to go and there are clubs down south who can give him a lot more cash in personal terms.
imo We don't do our business through the media but we should announce that we have pulled the deal off the table and move on.
Personally, if figures are true, it was a good offer and if he thinks he can do better elsewhere then so be it. He should take a long hard look at the others who used us and then it did not happen for them (Hooper is a fine example)
I hope he lives to regret this decision but that is the heart side of me talking now.

better to find out now if the lad is only motivated by money, if that is the case he could cause problems further down the line. you shouldn't need to be coaxed to play for glasgow celtic. you should think it a privilege. hail hail.
