I think people are reading into the Lawwell headlines rather than reading what he actually said. He said it's been overestimated how many players we actually need to bring in, which I agree with. He also stated that we will not stand still and will strengthen. Lennon wasn't my choice at all but it's done and we need to hope he's properly backed in the summer. Finally, terrific work as always this season Ed and I hope you decide to stay on.

Lawwell also stated that the board were never going to be influenced by the fans negativity in appointing NL, well that just shows me the board only want what they want, they are only interested in season ticket sales not the fans opinions.

I would not read too much into anything! It would be interesting to know what percentage of fans actually go on the social media and voice opinions, does anyone know? Even if it's 25% (which I genuinely doubt) and 90% were against Lennons appointment that doesn't tell us anything at all because maybe the other 75% who don't use social media are all in favour of the appointment (I doubt this also but nothing can be proved) . I would also guess that the majority on social media are the younger fans who don't remember what it was like before Fergus came in etc etc.
