I agree with Ed regarding Clarke, I rate him as a manager and the teams he has managed we’re very unlikely to get the same stats as Celtic but he’s still a gamble for me.
Lennon was a gamble, so was Ronnie, half our signing are gambles nowadays.
We got lucky with Rodgers who was looking for work at the right time.
Whoever it is has a huge job in the summer. Fixing out a defence who are either loans, not good enough or wanting away. A captain in the middle of the park who is closing in on the end of his career and still no first choice striker.
I have a feeling Rodgers knew this and perhaps thought the last two seasons towards the 10 may be his most difficult.

Next seasons most difficult as we have half a squad leaving which would made Clarke ideal candidate on shoestring budget.
