Big Sutton is spot on. Our signing policy is a shambles. Yet another window with a bunch of "prospects" signed and loans. A massive overhaul is required in the summer but for expect big money signings, those days are gone. And if anyone believes PL actually paid £9m for Eddy they are deluded. Maybe, just maybe it might rise to that but I'd be surprised if upfront was any more than £5m.

Tesla I've lost count of the amount of times I've heard that argument, tell me why it matters where the money came from. We spent £9million on one player? How do people find fault in that?

Simple. It's net spend is £2-3 mil

Which makes sense as £2-3 mil is our average spend on a player

I'm not saying it's a fault but just saying we haven't had a net spend in about ten years or maybe even more.
