Away from home in Europe you need a bit if muscle up top and we sold ours, so we'll be on the end of a few spankings in this group away from home, we were oupoassed and gave them so much respect stii g back inviting them on to us just not good enough.

Mally, we paid 9mil for edouard he should be the muscle up top, he should be the goals up top, he should the man for 9mil. He has scored one goal in the spl, one against alkashert, two against rosenborg and one last night. that's just not good enough. Is it any wonder why the board don't want to give rodgers another penny. ☘HH.

True; the comparison in price paid by us between Dembele and Eddy is night and day considering what impact Dembele made right away.
However, Edouarde did show great potential last season and so far has failed to reach the same levels. The price was already set when we took him on loan so the Board and manager must have seen something, as we never spend that kind of money on one player.
OK, the swift exit of Dembele has rocked the boat and affected one or two players, but I think there is also a coaching issue as to what his and Griffiths roles are in the same team as it isn't working, but another problem is too many Celtic players freeze or lose their bottle and make the same mistakes, away from home in Europe - especially when we lose a goal and that's a confidence issue that seems to be missing from the dugout right through.

Eddy and dembelle are totally different players eddy doesn't have the physical presence of dembelle and is really lazy he needs to start working harder.

What impact did moose make right away? He never scored for his first twelve games or so, if I remember correctly he scored a last min pen in a Euro game . In saying that, our scouting team and whole club in fact need to up their game regarding transfers. I’m sure most fans would love to see, young fit, fast players who love to attack, similar to Salzburg playing in the hoops every week.

Edouard was not bought for £9.8m as a replacement for Dembele.

Brendan clearly planned to keep Dembele and not release him. The young guy tweeted he was promised a release. Was Brendan fibbing? To him then to us?

Brendan did not plan to release Dembele nor plan to buy a replacement.

The late release of Dembele without a Striker replacement, to me was clearly the manager’s fault. Not the Board’s.

The Board has backed Brendan and paid handsomely for his targets (with large salaries too) but they are increasingly turning out to be very costly duds.

How much more than an £84m double treble winning squad did he need to beat £36m Athens?

Arguably the Board ‘bought’ the double treble by giving him an £84m squad in wee backwards Scotland. And a bigger wage budget than the next 5 teams combined.

What manager could fail to win with all that?
