When your greed impairs your thinking
or The Peril of cashing out early

Today I placed a £30 each way Lucky 15, which is 4 horses in multiple bets. The odds were 4/ 1, 4/ 1, 6/ 1 and 25/ 1.
My first 2 horses won and third was placed at 6/ 1, meaning I was already up on my £30 outlay but not by that much, but when I checked Cash Out I was offered £200, which I thought at the time was a great return, so I accepted.
Yes you GUESSED, my 25/ 1 shot ROMPED home meaning my winnings would have been nearer £1500
Cash Out can be a good thing, IF you time it right, and do not get sucked in by the bookmaker enticing you with a "good" offer.
My greed got the better of me, but hey I still made a few bucks.
Thought I would post this as a warning what NOT to do. GROAN
Oh and to make the irony even more delicious, my 25/ 1 shot was called
LUCKY LUCKY MAN!

Them the breaks. I've had it work against me got offered £650. Held out for just over a grand. Never won a penny.

Bright side you have took money off them and your next bets is with their money.

Cant believe im giving you a betting tip tim.
Why don't you half your bet and put the same lucky 15 on twice.
One for cash out, and keep the other one going.
