I know some people ain't really interested in Scotland national team but I keep hearing and this problem having both Tierney and Robertson.
Am I the only one that would play both on the left pushing Tierney up to left midfield.

{Ed007's Note - Never in a million years! KT is one of the top young LB's in Europe, he's nowhere near one of the top LMs or LWs. Why not move Robertson up?}

I think Tierney is better than Robertson going forward and can also fall back to help with the defending. I also think Rogers has an eye on moving Tierney forward at some point.

{Ed007's Note - Rodgers has no intention of 'Brendaning' one of the best young LB's in football, it would be one of the stupidest things he'd ever do.}

Id rather have one on the bench rather than one being played out of position. Strachan was a clown for playing KT at right back. There is better midfielders than KT aswel so it needs to be either KT or AR at left back. I love them both as players so to have them both fighting for the LB spot is great. Hopefully it won't be long before we have the same for every position on the park. Play best 11 in correct positions that's what Scotland has to do.

He's already playing him at CB and lwb ed.

{Ed007's Note - Right so according to you then we should start Hendry at RB, Bitton at CB, Stuart Armstrong as a No.10, Calvin Miller or Callum McGregor at LB and Griffiths at LW oh and Scott Brown can fight for the RB position with Lustig, Ralston and Hendry. All of those players have played in those positions.
What's the difference between a LB, a LW and a LWB?}

Ed I'd say apart from Calvin Miller that all of the rest were stop gap measures. But we KT he's been pushed up to lwb quite regularly when the gaffers went to 3 Cbs.
Stan I don't think there are many good left footed left mids in the Scotland squad.

{Ed007's Note - This is pointless. KT will never regularly play as a LW or a LM.}

With guys like Armstrong, McTominay, McGinn and Cairney fighting for the central positions i'd be more than happy to see McGregor used on the left Kev. All depends on what formation and who is available on the day for that to happen i suppose.

Respect to anyone who had the stamina to keep bothering with International football. Georgia game last qualifiedlrs did t for me. Got enough stress in my life without that gear.

Going to play devil's advocate. Tommy gemmel was one of our best left backs but was actually a right back. Pretty sure jock Stein played him there to utilise his powerful right footed shot.

My dad still cracks up that Danny McGrain would be swapped over when he went to play for scotland.

How much would Danny McGrain be worth in today’s market! He was a truly world class player, there were none better in his position at that time.

One of the few times I got to see him in the flesh was as a young kid at the league clincher against St Mirren in 86. He was at the very end of his career but still cut a marauding figure up and down the right touch line.

Kyle Walker went for circa £50M. He is nowhere near the player Danny was.
