I said earlier in the week I was confident and that I would play McGregor ahead of Musonda due to his ability to keep the ball under pressure and then bring Musonda on later to torment a tiring defence. What I didn't see coming was; 1. Kouassi getting the nod and 2. Him putting in the performance that he did. He really announced himself last night. Most of all, I'm over the moon for the defence who made a BIG statement to all those who gave us no chance! Now they have to try and maintain that level of performance.

I am eating humble pie today. I gave us no chance! BR changed the system a little bit. Midfield gave more cover to the defence. Forrest helping out Lustig more. Glad we didn't play Sinclair who i thought was a definite starter so we were a little less open last night but boy did we pasz the ball and keep it under pressure. As good a display in Europe as I have seen for a good while. Hats off to BR and the team. N'tcham was great so was Brown. McGregor running beyond Moussa was really effective as was Moussa holding the ball up. Could have had more goals never looked in trouble. Fantastic. Need to eat some more humble pie now. Got quite a platefull still to finish. I love being wrong!

The midfield were excellent especially broony who just gets better. but young ajer who I admit a was a wee bit worried about was immense one wee moment in the 92 mins he lost concentration but still made the block Well done Brendan for the way he set us up also.
