What pisses me off about Levein's comments is that it suggests that rules should apply to individuals rather than to everyone in the game.
Unfortunately, this seems to actually be something that the referees also subscribe to.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist myself, but how can we have honest refereeing until we grasp the idea that the rules ought to apply to everyone?

His problem was he thought he had a system in place to counter us, maybe he did, but for one game. On a sticky pitch. against a team running on fumes. So well done jambots, live it up.

I also have a big jambot fan mate who cannot stand him, seems he is a very arrogant man.

Maybe if the the refs had applied the protection levein is asking for in his own playing days then graham hogg wouldn't have been attacked and knocked out by a thug in his own team. i've yet yet to see scott brown do that to another player.

The last time Brown was sent off was away to Aberdeen in November 2014 for 2 fouls. Yes, he did get sent off against Ross County away last season but that was appealed and overturned.

He had played 177 games since the November 2014 sending off and only once has he put in a challenge that a referee felt was a bit too strong or intended to hurt anyone.

He is aggressive and out to injure players right enough.

CL singling out SB the way he has is disgraceful. We all know SB is a combative, aggressive player who walks the line and likes to get in the oppositions head. But to suggest that he goes out trying to hurt players every game, when as Niall points out his disciplinary record is better than some players, is poor.
