I’d agree that quite a few players haven’t hit, the heights of last season yet, probably due to the amount of games we have played with very little rest, but some fans need to get a grip. We got beat of Munich and psg, there isn’t much we could really do to change that even with our strongest line up available. A lot of fans are on ntcham back at the minute but we have to remember he’s deemed good enough to play for a quality French u21 squad so people with a better judgement than ours must see something. Maybe he needs a bit of time to settle.
My main point though is that since we lost quite a few people have been mouthing off about the team. Be it Craigan, Logan or the much vaunted Mcginn ( who said Aberdeen gave them more of a game) . Let’s hope we use these comments against them and smash Hibs and Aberdeen and put these teams / players back in their place. Hopefully get through tomorrow and push the team on again.
Coybig.

A very good post Quinn1888. I think teams even top teams in Europe are seeing us as a bigger threat . I noted Muller targeted Brown in the first couple of minutes and I think Brown's game suffered .
Big teams more likely to get away with it than us . We need to preservere with what we do and give Brendan our whole support and back and encourage all the players.

Seeing us as a bigger threat! What utter Shoite that is! We conceded 5 against psg and it could have been the same score in Munich! Now I'm not saying we should be competing with these teams in anyway shape or form, and they'll beat better teams than us this season. but to say they see us as a bigger threat is utter garbage! These big teams view us and teams for smaller countries as an inconvenience and nothing else!

Lh86, your reply is as you would describe it, a load of shoite, All 3 teams we played in Champions League fielded their strongest available team against . They had obviously been watching us closely before the game and set out tactics to use against us. Targeting Brown in the first minutes, showed intent o not use use us as an inconvenience to get out of the way .
I have supported Celtic for nearly 60 yrs, good times and bad but I have never regarded Celtic as inconvenience to any other team and nothing else .
If I ever feel that I think I will abandon my support for Celtic.

They fielded they'r strongest teams so they see us as a threat! Away and gies peace! Targeting brown! Again utter pish! they've obviously been watchn us before the game! Naaawww u don't say! That's what teams usually do when they'r about to play somebody! To suggest that psg and bayern view us as a threat is garbage and I don't know anyone who would think otherwise! Well there is one person but he's known for spouting pish!

Lh86 I think Chris is trying to saying we could be a banana skin for these teams and won't underestimate us or go in the the game with complacentsy (If that's even a word)

Daz of course they won't underestimate us, these are top class clubs and players. but I stand by my opinion that they don't view us as a threat! And I think it's pretty clear that we're not a banana skin for them! We've played 4 games against barca (twice) psg and Bayern, conceded 17 goals and scored zero! That's not a threat buddy!

Definitely agree were not a threat and most likely never will be as long as we play in the Scottish league and finance situation. I also think but its a process that will make us better and maybe get a last 16 place in 2 or 3 season (i hope) Clearly we have been a banana skin for teams in the past for big guns i. e Barca, man utd ect.
