Players having a great season to now is fantastic, but we are hitting the business end of the season now and it's time for the players to step up. Some on the chat saying Sinclair etc have been amazing this season so they can get away with today? Nonsense! Sinclair should have been off before Forrest, he was none existent today. And on another note I've never ever seen a team celebrate a draw like that in my life. Don't worry The The The Rangers, you're still closer to Inverness in the table than you are Celtic👍.

Exactly Michael. I've got some egg on my face, but the way in which the two sets of players, coaching staff and fans are reacting really does just emphasise the gap. Rangers are just another SPFL side, coming to Celtic Park and celebrating a draw like the game of their lives.

Michael

If you are going to quote me at least do it correctly. I said "we can't expect every player to be amazing every week".

Can I just ask who you would replace Sinclair with? Armstrong who was poor in that position for 1 season, not just 1 game?
GMS who isn't Celtic class?
Forrest who can't cut inside and can't get round the outside when played on the left?
Roberts who has never played on the left in the 14 months he has been at Celtic?

Compelling argument there!

We are still unbeaten after 28 league games, won 1 trophy and in the semi final of another and STILL you aren't happy? Why not go away and support that mob so you have something to celebrate.

Nial so because you think Forrest or Roberts can't play on left you think Sinclair should be left on even tho he was the worst player on the pitch? I'm 30 years of age and 16 stone but I still think I coulda put in more effort in that game than Sinclair did. As as for your Go support the mob across the city, maybe you should as your footballing knowledge definitely lives up to about there expectations 👍😂.

Sinclair wasnt the only bad player today. Dembele was every bit as bad as him. And your tone is a disgarce saying that to another celtic fan cos he has an opinion. 30 yr old grow up.

Cue next game Sinclair plays a blinder you will be on here ranting and raving about how good a player he is. So I take it you have a vendetta about Larsson having a howler against Hibs on his debut then?

business end of the season lol
for the league cup - won
for the league - won
Scottish cup - ah business end of the Scottish cup - 2 games we need to play well in and like to win - but not the end of the world.

our business end now should be securing players in early and getting ready for qualifiers as that really is all that matters now.

Michael is correct it was a bad day at the office. No point throwing your toys out the pram because we didn't win. It happens. We will win the treble. All that matters.

I agree that sinclair has had better days at the office than today but I would always keep him on in those games he's always capable of something out of nothing.
Before I'm shot down I'm not giving him a license to play badly I just think he's a cracking player.

Nobody showed up today except tierney who i thought was our best player defensive and going forward.

Johnny

So that gives him the right to single Sinclair out for criticism? This guy has scored nearly 20 goals this season for us. He can't be expected to being amazing in each and every single game and he is a match-winner who could get a goal out of nothing, St Mirren last week anyone?

Lots were poor performances today, Eric, Boyata, Forrest, Roberts and Dembele were not themselves. Griffiths did nothing when he came on. These guys have all proven themselves to be capable this season and should have produced better but no criticism of them from our 16 stone friend from Dundee.

Nobody said Sinclair is a bad player. What has been said repeatedly is he had a shocker. He was invisible. He gets praised when he plays well and rightly so, but, by feck, he deserves to be slaughtered because of the level of ability he had and the importance of him to the team. He will know he was pish. If he doesn't a look at the game will confirm it.

He needs to man up and take criticism and show in the semi it was just a bad day. It was.

Dembele? As above. Only adding, to be fair he did play in big Clown Shoes as his touch confirmed.

No easy.

We move on but they need to channel the rage into a performance at hampden and Ibrox that will bring their paper house to the ground. Again.
