I prefer that to the current jersey kev, but not quite fitting enough to mark Lisboa '67 for me. Too much sponsorship.

{Ed007's Note - Not got enough hoops on it for me. I think our strip should always have 6 (I better be right there lol) green hoops on it as a reminder of Lisbon.}

They are a tad thick Ed agree there, I just really don't like the current one. Have to say I've been a bit let down by NB so far.

{Ed007's Note - That pink thing is (swear) terrible! I do think the strips have a better feel about them under NB than some of the tops Nike released, as my mam would say, you could spit peas through them.}

They're all overpriced T-Shirts for me. I'm a right old codger for my age. Last seasons away kit was really good mind. You're right there though the pink thingy is abismal. There's kitsch, then there's criminal. The away kits should be the daring ones, the hoops should be simple and classy, though I realise they have to come up with something a bit different in order to sell the next one.

{Ed007's Note - The away strip should always be a bumble bee colours or black/gold.}

I agree the hoops aren't similar enough to be a proper tribute but something along those lines wouldn't go amiss. Although would they not have done that this season instead of next?

Perhaps Kev. Six and two three's though given the timing of the anniversary. Even if NB came up with something special as a one off I'd even buy it. Like the 125th anniversary one we had resembling our original white jersey with the cross, I think we might have worn it like once in a game, if at all?

They should get a O Neills sport to make them. Made to withstand the hussle and bustle of GAA . The Offaly jersey would be an ideal away jersey :-) and Carlow third strip just for the craic .
