That's young Calvin Miller away.

{Ed007's Note - "Brendaned"}

He was a decent winger in the Development Squad but don't think he would have displaced Forrest.

{Ed007's Note - He was voted the best player in the world for his age playing as a left winger or a CAM, Rodgers decided to play him as a LB and that was his career on a downward spiral right away. Rodgers' trying to get young players to do things they weren't capable of doing (plus filling their heads with lies and bull$hit) to the detriment of their career was called being "Brendaned" at Livrpool.}

Need to have a bit of sympathy for the lad when you get converted to a left back when Tierney was first choice and fully fit, another clueless move by rodgers.
To be fair at that time he was never really going to get a decent run in the team with sinclair on the left hand side aswell he should have left on loan and went to a team where he would stand out so he could eventually come back and had a chance, all the best to him.

I can remember him playing his first game, I think it was a midweek match at Celtic Park.
I felt sorry for Calvin because getting played out of position at left back was not fair.
I can also remember him running riot on the wing in the youth cup finals at Hampden.

My bhoy played against him plenty and to be honest he was never good enough to hold down a place in the first team especially on the lw.

There's no-one who loves Brendan like Brendan loves Brendan. If that means he fecks up the career of a young lad along the way then so be it. Listen, he's a talented coach overall but he is very much about his own success first and foremost. If we win 10iar I hope he is nowhere to be seen. He came in and had a very positive impact but his manner of leaving was deplorable especially when you consider his attempts to take our entire coaching team with him. If he was a Celtic man (which he said he was) he wouldn't have done that and thankfully the like of JK said no. He'll be a mainstay of our coaching staff for the long term because he knows the definition of the word 'loyalty', and he delivers it in spades even though he could probably do better elsewhere financially if he wanted to. HH.
