Apparently genk have signed kouassi for 1.3m, forgot he was actually a celtic player.

Pity I thought he could have been decent. Hard as nails to try and run off a cruciate injury 😂 done well to get over a million for him considering he hardly played.

I have always said I think there is a player there. When we played the Russians he was fantastic and then tried to play on with a serious injury. Bhoy just had no luck at parkhead but I wouldn't be surprised to see him make something of his career.

I honestly think if it's true and we got 1.3m it's a cracking deal even though we're making a loss, in the end he was just in the flop bracket scouted by congerton and BR along with compper and hendry to name a few.
He literally had one half decent game at home against zenit but couldn't string a pass any other time he did manage to play which wasn't very often so there's obviously a reason for that, hopefully whenever next season does start this soro guy we signed in January doesn't go down the same path.

to get 1.3million for a guy who's played about 20 games over about 3 year is a good deal on our part if you ask me n he showed nothing in those games to suggest he was going to play a part.

He had something about him he just didn't get the run of games and struggled with injuries. Malaria and ACL is just bad luck. Sure he wasn't even getting a game in the reserves either so he was just around doing training so couldn't get anything kick started.

Hopefully we haven't paid the full reported 3m and that's not too much of a loss. Was quite excited about him but between Brown and McGregor he was always going to struggle to cement a place. Hopefully Soro doesn't turn out to be the same. We need to seriously start to think about Brown's replacement.
