Reading this morning that Willy Sagnol wants to become the next Celtic manager. what's people's thoughts on this story. oldkilly.

I’d agree not experienced enough but after the news that we are looking interested in David Wagner and doing a wee bit of research I think this guy would be an excellent appointed and I really hope this happens identical style to klop fast attacking football and he did well with an average Huddersfield side small budget ideal manager if you ask me 🍀.

Wagner on paper sounds like a great fit my concern would be on how he left Huddersfield seems like he needed a break from football if he can't handle the pressure at a club like that then would he survive in the madness that will come with being our boss and the added lunacy of the whole of Scotland trying to derail the 10 or am I mistaken did he leave Huddersfield for a different reason I'm sure you guys will know more than me.

I believe it was mutual consent they were bottom of the league and they decided to part ways I don’t think it had anything to go with needing a break and I don’t think managing celtic would be hard for him he would manage the job I think, at the end of the day we will find out soon enough who it’s going to be but like I said I’ve heard celtic are interested in him there will be others too and time will tell.

I'm not so sure Chris the pressure that comes at Celtic from the expectation to win is intense enough at a normal time but these next two seasons are going to be amplified ten fold the quote I read from Huddersfield said it was mutual but had been initiated by Wagner who felt he needed a break from the rigours of football but as I said on paper he seems like a good fit for us other wise.

Wagner is no fit for Celtic. Managing Huddersfield he wasn't used to managing at team winning nearly every match . I don't think that pressure, the hatred of Celtic in the main stream Scottish media and the anti Celtic bias of referees and SFA would probably be too much for him, he certainly never came across anything like it in his Footbal Managing Career.

I can't say any name I have seen mentioned excites me and makes me feel confident that we will get 9 in a row . I would be surprised if any of the names mention, apart from Lennon's is actually in the running . We were able to get Rodgers because, he was afraid that he was getting too long out of the game and needed to get back into the game, of course he proved it by cutting us adrift in mid stream.
