I’d be very confused if we bought Scott Bain. He’s a decent keeper but unless we plan on making him number 1 then we should just be looking for a loan until the end of the season. And if the plan is to make him number 1 then that’s a disappointment tbh.

Couldn’t agree more ed Ajer is the future of this club, he just needs time and continuity. Football fans are so fickle one mistake from a player and they are instantly not good enough. Magic pole that doesn’t make hendry any less a prospect, I don’t know if he is good enough but he and Ajer could compliment each other very well in the future as a centre back pairing but only time will tell.

Ed, Ajer is going to be utterly brilliant for us and I totally agree about a new contract. I too shook my head when reading in various places he wouldn't fit the bill. Every game he plays he improved and we have to remember he's still a pup. He needs to be played and the remainder if the season will see him get more tactically aware. I'm actually confident we can give the Ruskies a game now.

I still hope we bring in another CB able to play against them and give us options. Young Kouassi looked brilliant too and Ntcham, who I admit I had doubts over has booted my doubts down my throat and I couldn't be happier.

What about wee Kieran anaw? I couldn't love that boy more if he was my own son.

{Ed007's Note - It's looking like Hendry will be the only other CB bought. I'm hearing a fee has been agreed with Dundee but we'll need to wait and see if he's coming in this window or not.}

SOS I was just pissed at McCann trying to feck us about. The boy might be a good prospect but I would have Ajer in every game he's fit. If Hendry could improve us again I would welcome the boy.

Aye we really don’t know how the boy will be but I like us signing homegrown talent and developing them. I’m in complete agreement with Ajer you don’t captain a team at 17 unless you have the minerals that’s for sure! Get Ajer signed up!
