I understand to progress as a club we need to find inventive ways of generating income and having an affiliated team down under with all the Celtic fans out there makes sense. I just hope we’re not in danger of becoming a franchise like Man City who also have an Australian team. I’d rather be Celtic than a soulless money machine.

Fan based great. Better would be a decent youth academy. Never know what will turn up. If it's minimal which to be honest it will be. Shipping over some older gear to be reused by keen young players with good picked coaches no matter where it is in the world is a good thing.

Big fan of the A-League. Lots of goals on BT Sport early doors on a Saturday morning and always decent crowds.

I think this could be a tidy bit of business by the club.

If it is Roar they go for could they rename them Brisbane Lions?
